@__heatherc not exactly but close - my nipples feel like little hard missile tips and hurt like hell at the end of the day.
Current pregnancy - First BFP on 1/4/22. Due date 9/13/22.
Four prior losses, no living children - 1 first trimester miscarriage, 1 blighted ovum, 1 chemical, and one extreme premature live birth daughter who died at 15 days old.
@Amphibious22 I learned very quickly to never say never because children make you liars. My imaginary children will never sleep in my bed, or watch TV, also I would never use a stroller because I can carry them everywhere.
My kids only sleep in my bed, pandemic made me a TV mom, and a 20lb 5 month old made me use my stroller all the time until I could back carry.
@jamiesc58 - YES. Like, if your job is that awful, please find something else. Literally everywhere is hiring right now. You knew what was involved when you took a customer service job.
@theblondebump - Ugh, when I was pregnant with my first, I had a friend who was pregnant with her first and about 5 weeks ahead of me. She would constantly say "just wait until..." and comments like that to always let me know she was further along than me and experiencing things before me. It was so annoying. And of course she had the easiest labor with like 3 pushes while I pushed for hours.
I feel awful saying this, but I fortunately never had anyone say to me, "wait until..." that I can remember. Maybe I just blocked them out. Let's be real, though. Unless you have fairly regular help outside of your significant other, it's all hard. Even then I'm sure it's hard, but what I wouldn't give to have a single mental break between 7 and 7 every day. Being a SAHM isn't what I pictured for myself (and so many people picture us as uneducated and lazy when in reality most of us have college degrees), but here we are. 🤷♀️
𝗧𝗲𝗮𝗺 𝗙𝗶𝗻𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗢𝘂𝘁/𝗕𝗹𝘂𝗲/𝗣𝗶𝗻𝗸/𝗚𝗿𝗲𝗲𝗻: Finding out. We named my son as soon as we knew he was a boy and I loved taking about him with his name for the rest of the pregnancy.
𝗨𝗽𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗔𝗽𝗽𝗼𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀: none scheduled yet.
𝗛𝗼𝘄 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗳𝗲𝗲𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗴?: Nauseous all the time!
𝗥𝗮𝗻𝘁𝘀/𝗥𝗮𝘃𝗲𝘀: Ketchup. Oh my. Now I understand why my toddler is so keen on dipping her finger in it and eating it alone. I have been eating fries only to have the ketchup these days. Never in my wildest dreams did I think any condiment would come close to trumping ranch dressing, but right now it’s ketchup.
𝗤𝘂𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀: Anyone have success with B6 for nausea? I’m reading people have taken 100mg a day with success.
𝗚𝗧𝗞𝗬: 𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗶𝘀 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗯𝗶𝗴𝗴𝗲𝘀𝘁 𝗽𝗲𝘁 𝗽𝗲𝗲𝘃𝗲 (𝗶𝗻 𝗴𝗲𝗻𝗲𝗿𝗮𝗹, 𝗻𝗼𝘁 𝗻𝗲𝗰𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗹𝘆 𝘁𝗼𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗱 𝗮 𝘀𝗽𝗲𝗰𝗶𝗳𝗶𝗰 𝗽𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗼𝗻)? Nail picking. I can’t stand the sound of nails snapping together. I haven’t noticed too many people who do it habitually but when I come across it I can’t stand it!
@__heatherc - I’m still nursing my one year old so it may be different but mine got so firm I thought I had a clogged duct but it was just breast tissue swelling. But if you’re concerned maybe talk to the doctor when you go in for your big appointment. By the way, I thought the first would be the big one too!
@komamommy I tried the B6 during the day and it didn't help me at all. The unisom/B6 combo for overnight is something I still do, though, because that does help me with that overnight sickness.
@komamommy I used to do the combo sorting the day last time and it made me tired, but not unreasonably so after the first few days. I could only do half a unisom, though, or I'd be out.
I’m having trouble even finding B6 strangely. Of all the millions of brands of vitamins and supplements at cvs, only one brand has B6 and only 100 mg pills. My ob said to use 25 mg 3x a day so not sure how I would do that. Have others found a 25 mg pill and if so, what brand do you use? Maybe I can just order online.
@theblondebump If you have a pill cutter, you can cut them into quarters and just take one quarter at a time
Current pregnancy - First BFP on 1/4/22. Due date 9/13/22.
Four prior losses, no living children - 1 first trimester miscarriage, 1 blighted ovum, 1 chemical, and one extreme premature live birth daughter who died at 15 days old.
@komamommy definitely sleepy the first few days before adjusting to it. But I would only take 1/4 at a time to help not get super sleepy. They’re easy to break by hand… just don’t buy the gel capsules!
@theblondebump I have the 100mg pills. They break so easily by hand that I don’t even have a pill cutter.
awesome! Thanks @trapperkeeper87 ! Thanks to others for the suggestion, but I prefer to just get a 25 mg tablet rather than mess with cutting or breaking them.
