Re: AMA February Check-In
How far along are you? Not confirmed with my OB yet, but my app says 7w3d
How are you doing with everything at the moment? Better now that I've had a couple days break from the nausea. But I'm nervous about going back to baby stage when our two boys are 15 and 8. They took the news pretty well this weekend, my teenager things its a little weird but they're both hoping for a girl. And my 8 year old is already brainstorming names. Husband is really excited, so I'm trying to focus on that energy. Looking forward to getting more information on the NIPT testing and getting appointments scheduled with my OB.
Thanks for starting an AMA check-in!
How far along are you? 7+6, first US still pending
How are you doing with everything at the moment? I'm not telling family until I have a "clean" ultrasound. And even after the ultrasound I'll be anxious until after my cerclage (which I'm also nervous about).
First BFP on 1/4/22. Due date 9/13/22.
How far along are you? 6+3, not yet confirmed
How are you doing with everything at the moment? All things considered I’m doing good. Lots of nausea which I did not have the joy of experiencing last time. Tired and just feel like I’m in a fog. Anxious about telling people as we haven’t told anyone yet and we’d like to wait at least until our first appointment… which isn’t until March 1st. 😭
How far along are you? 8+4
How are you doing with everything at the moment? I'm don't ok, really nervous about tomorrow's dating scan.
I was a little excited when I saw the AMA post because I've always felt older (I'm guessing that's what happens when your husband is 12 years older and most of the people you spend time with are at least that much older) and my other bmbs I didn't qualify for AMA status and didn't feel I was with all the other moms who were in their 20s?
@kboydbowman when will they give you your cerclage? One of the moms in my last bmb had one, and then was on hospital bed rest for a long while before baby came.
First BFP on 1/4/22. Due date 9/13/22.
Due - 9/14 I’m very certain about this as I had the same LMP with my last pregnancy and same due date and same doctor who refused to change my due date when my first baby measured more than a week ahead (and I thought I had ovulated early). She was right. I was due Sept 14 and my son was born September 15. He was perfect. I hate to think that if we had moved the due date based on his size, he might have been forced out early with an induction. I’m so glad he came when he was ready. He’s just very tall, then and now. So, I’m pretty certain this will stay my due date and anticipating another long long baby! He was only 7 pounds, so not huge, just long!
How far along: 6w +2d, not confirmed
I'm feeling ok. My ultrasound isn't scheduled until 2/23, so none of this feels real yet! I had a loss around 10 weeks in 2020, and at exactly 6 weeks 2 days I went into the ER for spotting and on ultrasound they suspected things were not progressing as they should. 2 weeks later there was a heartbeat, but was between 70-80, not compatible with life. At 10 weeks there was nothing. So as much as I want to know what's going on, I'm also afraid to know.
The good (I think?) news is I'm definitely having more symptoms this time around. I've had nausea off and on, plenty of cramping and my boobs feel like they're ready to fall off. I didn't think I was having any food aversions or cravings until I found myself looking at every dessert recipe possible on Pinterest today, and dying for a cookies and creme candy bar today! I'm not typically a sweets person so that's definitely a big change.
For now I'm just keeping myself busy and trying not to worry until my appointment on the 23rd. I'll be 9 weeks then, but I doubt we will tell anyone until we have at least a couple of good news appointments.
How far along are you? 6 weeks, 6 days unconfirmed
How are you doing with everything at the moment? The closer I get to my ultrasound in five days, the more nervous I get. I’m trying to fill my days so I can’t spiral.
@dsmith211 Oh, man! That’s such a long wait. 😕 Hang in there!
@jhysmath How did your appointment go? Also, my husband is 15 years older than I am, so I definitely understand where you’re coming from.
Hoping for healthy all around, obviously, but also hoping for a girl this time around.
How far along are you? 8w 1d
How are you doing with everything at the moment? I had an ultrasound that showed a good heartbeat, but I still can’t help being nervous. I know it will get better at 12+ weeks, that just seems SO far away.
5 wks 6 days, EDD 9/30, unconfirmed
I'm cautiously optimistic right now. My first appointment is 2/23 when I'll be 8 1/2 weeks, so that is the first milestone for me. Still no major symptoms, which makes me nervous. I've had a few moments where I feel slightly nauseous, but it's not overwhelming, so I don't think that's anything but me looking for a sign. 😂 I'm also a FTM so that's also adding to my caution. I've been taking pregnancy tests once a week (is that weird?). I like the confirmation that little one is still in there.
First BFP on 1/4/22. Due date 9/13/22.
I'm 33 and around 8w I think.
I'm nervous bc I miscarried in October. I just made it longer this week than that pregnancy though so feeling good about that. Tons of symptoms: nausea, heavy boobs, back pain, food aversions, exhaustion, strong sense of smell. 🤞 Everything stays healthy and I'm planning to not schedule an appt until around 12w.
