Re: Weekly Check In- week of 1/24

  • Wow, I feel like so many of us got our glucose results today! I just posted this in the thankful thread, but I'm very happy it wasn't as bad as I thought it was going to be and I just found out I passed 🙏🏼

  • Oh no, everyone failing the 1 hr after a pass with their previous kid (s) is scaring me! 😬🙈 Guess I'll see next week what happens to me this time.

Hopefully everyone passes their 3 hour!
  • @pajamstagrams same! I had no issues with DD. My glucose test isn’t until March so I can live a little longer blissfully ignorant 😅
  • Oh 💩!! FX for everyone who has to go on to the 3 hr! I think mine was supposed to be on Monday but now I was talking to my doc today and we are waiting and I’m cool with that 😂

  • @And846 I hear ya - same boat!
  • Praying for everyone to pass your next glucose test! I'm taking my one hour Monday a nervous myself.
  • Oh man! Good luck to everyone with the glucose tests! I know I'm not looking forward to mine in a couple weeks...

Est. Due Date / Weeks + Days: May 3rd/26w3d

    FTM/STM/TTM+: FTM

Upcoming Appointments: 2/2 fetal specialist checkup + 2/8 OB & glucose screening

How are you feeling?: I've been okay for the most part, leg cramps wake me up in the mornings and I get out of breath just laying on the couch. The excercise ball has been my new favorite chair lately though my back can't stand it for long...
Been pretty anxious with all my Dr. appts for a short cervix which my doc has now termed "dynamic" because it changes length at will. I think the weekly check ups have started getting to my nerves.

Rant: I have a crazy desire to set everything up and buy everything and get ready for baby but there is nothing to set up! We're waiting until our baby shower to actually buy stuff because we don't know what we'll get or what we need atm. It's incredibly frustrating. Nesting mode engage on standby.

Questions: My Dr. told me to watch for cramping/contractions but, how do I know what's a contraction vs. Braxton hicks. Is it instinctual? Do you just know? Is cramping not a contraction?

GTKY: What is your favorite concert that you’ve been to? Or wish you could go to?
I've only been to a handle of shows, i think my favorite was the Holiday show for We The Kings i went to in like 2015? Small, super chill and enjoyable. I would LOVE to be able to afford a BTS concert ticket, I have been consumed by them for a while now.
  • Est. Due Date / Weeks + Days: 5/23, 23w6d

    FTM/STM/TTM+: TTM

Upcoming Appointments: this week for routine OB

How are you feeling?: Ok for the most part, but still nauseous at night. I feel like I’m in 3rd tri already with how big I feel and how tired I am at the end of the day

Rants/Raves: My work station is getting hit hard with covid. I’m just hoping to stay clear

    Questions:

GTKY: What is your favorite concert that you’ve been to? Or wish you could go to? I’ve only been to a couple, but I loved Garth Brooks
  • @germainejeleed they can feel pretty well the same! But BH are inconsistent and don’t increase in intensity like labour contractions do. And if you change position, go for a walk or have a bath, BH are likely to go away whereas labour contractions will stick around. Hope that’s helpful! And hope you don’t find out too soon what labour contractions are. ♥️
