Just wanted to say that I tried this soup yesterday and it’s AMAZEBALLS. I used to work at Macaroni Grill back in the day and we made this soup from scratch and it tastes literally exactly the same. I love a good bowl of soup when it’s this cold outside. I could’ve eaten the whole jar but I didn’t. 😜😜😜
@MrsLaLaBug it’s probably far beyond your dinner time by now but my kids requested quesadillas so I shredded up some baked chicken breast that was in the fridge and this really hit the spot today!
I’m so thrilled, the missing pieces for DD3’s new dresser arrived so I finished putting it together tonight! Tomorrow I can finally finish moving her stuff into her new room (shared with DD6) and get the newborn clothes into the other dresser. Coming up on only 3 months left and making progress!
@MrsLaLaBug I can't copy either from the app!! I was going to do it (minus the gtky because I have no creative bone in my body lol) but seems that I'm out of luck as week
Well everyone in our house is getting over covid pretty well. Which of course means that DS (who has been symptom free for almost 3 days) decided to projectile vomit everywhere all morning. Can we just all be healthy now??
@MrsLaLaBug I realized the other day how close we are to my sister’s wedding, which is only 4 weeks before baby and I had a minor panic attack. We literally have nothing done this time around lol
I keep thinking about how there are only 2 months of bmb’s ahead of us who haven’t started giving birth yet. I’m sure some of the Feb girls have started, so that just leaves March & April before us 😦
I'm really feeling the pressure to get ready for babies. I'm going to give birth in April at the very latest but realistically I could deliver in March and I'm low key freaking out

Reasons why FB never ceases to crush my faith in the human race….
I’m in a pregnancy group for post-op bariatrics. Some poor girl was complaining about the -20 temps and how cold it was in her home especially at night bc her husband hated turning up the heater to sleep. She mentioned getting an electric blanket. These people straight up proceeded to tell her all the reasons she could NOT in no way use an electric blanket while pregnant because IT WOULD “COOK” HER BABY.
@happynapper 😳 well when you put it that way...I've also been lurking and the April BMB is the only one before us that hasn't migrated, and I'm sure they will soon. It's definitely getting closer! I tell myself I have 3.5 months left, and I'm like "plenty of time" and then I realize that's only 16 weeks and somehow that feels shorter lol. And then I remember we only have 10 weeks to get DD's room set to because I want her moved in early April to have plenty of time to adjust. 😱
@MrsLaLaBug they weren't trying to emphasize the risk of mom overheating and raising core body temp, but instead, they went for "cooking" the baby?? 🤦♀️ Seems dramatic lol. Feel like there's a better way to explain the risk and let people make their own decision lol.
Y’all I am riding this 2nd tri energy wave as long as I can. I glittered more apples for my parade throws today - I am SO excited to put the finishing touches on these. They are like the very special most coveted throws for people to catch and everybody who rides decorates theirs different. And after I got glitter everywhere I then went to 7 showings with my realtor. SEVEN. Send a foot masseuse and some wine. 😂😂😂
I finished the girls coming home outfits yesterday. Well actually, I need to decide two things - to make hats or bows, and to add their names on or leave them as is. 🤔 Any thoughts?

@jackdetroit whoa you made those?! That’s like my whole Amazon cart right now haha those are awesome. I agree hats with their names would be cute. Or you could do a patterned bow. I’m not sure how I’d do their names on the actual clothes though!
@karisahamdi Oooh I didn't think of hats with their names. Then I could reuse the outfits for either twin. Great idea!
@b_1029 Yes I made them! I used to have a shop where I sold baby/toddler clothes but closed it because it was too much work. Now I just sew for my kids and friends/family. I use a Cricut to add their names or whatever to other things (usually sweatshirts)

@jackdetroit I love them! I think oversized, personalized bows would be super sweet. Like this (I found on Etsy…and may just have hit order for myself…)
Hey y’all 👋🏻 1. Strawberries and Oreos sounds like a perfect dinner 2. Omg I feel like we have plenty of time for the nursery but now I may be panicking a little.
My biggest project to finish before baby comes is refinishing this huge oak dining table I got for free from fb marketplace. I already stripped it and now just need to get the paint and spend time working on it. Once that’s done, our current smaller round dining table will go in the basement for an art table and I can organize the playroom. Once THAT’s done, I can entertain the idea of painting the nursery dresser (50% chance) or maybe just keeping it solid wood. Anyway I’m gonna go back to not thinking about all of this now, lol.
Just a funny for today. I work at a public school, I'm a TA but I'm in a room where I service several classes. Today I had 1st grade and I'm wearing a pre-pregnancy long-sleeve spirit shirt so I look more pregnant than usual at work (i wear maternity tops or big nice sweaters, somewhat dressy clothes). Today's Friday so we get to dress down and I opted leggings and this spirit shirt to be comfy. People kept looking at me crazy and asking me if I was okay, or they didn't know I was here today. I thought it was odd, but just shrugged it off in passing. I had 1st grade at 8am, one student (with autism- but she's the sweetest) kept touching my tummy talking about how big the baby is now. I told her his name and how I'm so excited to meet him! I just had 2 teachers swing by my room to tell me she has told the ENTIRE elementary hall that I've had my baby. So now 1/2 the staff think I went into pre-term labor and was shocked to see me walking around campus! Needless to say we told her we won't meet him (hopefully) for a couple more months lol. Today has been eventful, to say the least!
