@cas060 I am 11w and definitely look full, which makes me feel it (not sure if it's the same feeling you're talking about since I'm a FTM). I'm already wearing jeans two sizes up, and those are getting tight already.
@ethancaitlyn10172020, could be! I dont think i look any fuller, yet.. but just feel so thick and out of space and know they're only a pecan so far 🤣🤣. I'm having to sit up straight rather than slouchy and poor posture, lol
@cas060 I feel that too. I was just telling my husband this morning that my insides just feel FULL. Not like when I’ve eaten too much, just like there isn’t room in there for anything. Which is obviously crazy because it’s still so small!
Yeah, I heard all of this talk about pregnant women being ravenous hungry people all the time, and I'm like... I want nothing to do with food. Not really experiencing any aversion, just noninterest because I feel full.
@itsme215 I didn’t even know this was a thing. So annoying. I thought it was from caffeine withdrawal but no. Thought it was sinus pressure, nope. Tylenol helped a lot but I don’t want to rely on it bc these headaches are every day
@wigglyicecream I thought mine were sinus headaches too, and they might partially be, but I’ve never had them quite like this before so the pregnancy is for sure playing a role. I’ve taken Tylenol a couple times when they’ve been totally unbearable but also trying not to depend on it every day.
It’s also weird because I’m finding myself not wanting to wear my glasses for some reason. But like, I obviously need to wear my glasses. So I’m sure that’s not helping the headaches either.
@itsme215 Same about the glasses. I just got BRAND NEW transition lenses that I was loving once I finally got used to them. Now I never wear them. When I was pregnant with my daughter I feel like my eye sight changed bc I ended up with a new Rx while pregnant as well as after I delivered. From what I read it’s uncommon for your eyesight to change that much
So, not a symptom but I have such a bad toothache! I can't remember if I posted about this or not... but my mouth HURTS so much that my sinuses hurt. I have always had bad teeth, even when I was a little girl. I have had a root canal go bad, and the tooth cracked and had to be pulled. This tooth that hurts now is right next to that one. I had to call my OB today to ask about anbesol, and he had to look it up. Apparently, it's okay! I am going to make an appointment with the dentist, but I was told they won't do any dental work until the 2nd trimester. I just want the tooth out. Not wasting my time and money on a root canal for it to just go bad.
@bridgiebee82 I also have not great teeth (lots of fillings), even tho I care for them. I had a molar just off itself during my pregnancy in 2019. Was having intermittent pain, went to the dentist bc we were about to go on our babymoon and he found no evidence of any issues. Shit hit the fan when we were away (flying sucked) and when I got home went to a endodontist for my first ever root canal. I was 27ish weeks. The endo just said pregnancy can wreck havoc on teeth, I didn’t have a cavity or a crack or anything. My tooth just died. I don’t recall there being a rule about 2nd trimester, and I was under the impression if you have a tooth issue you don’t want to risk an infection.
@bridgiebee82 I also had teeth issues when pregnant. Got a cavity that got infected and I ended up having to get 2 molars taken out bc I didn’t have the cash to have two root canals. Outside of pregnancy I have very little issues with me teeth
@bridgiebee82 ugh sorry to hear about you tooth problems. I have crappy teeth too, despite taking great care of them. My last pregnancy I lost a filling (eating cheddar broccoli soup 🙄) and had to jump through hoops to get it fixed before I had the baby. Hopefully yours isn’t as much of a hassle and hopefully you don’t end up needing the tooth out at all! Feel better soon!
Same story, different day: I had a lot of bleeding last night. Like had to wear a pad and throw out my underwear. It’s stopped now and it was brown/no cramping. This is just getting really frustrating. The only logical explanation is the severe coughing but boy, Tuesday’s appt can’t come fast enough.
@and_peggy I’m sorry you’re still dealing with this bleeding, that’s so scary. I hope your appointment on Tuesday can give you some answers, or if not, at least some reassurance.
@and_peggy I’m so sorry you keep going through this bleeding. I’m sure it’s a mind f*ck. Sending you hugs and hoping you find an explanation for it at your appointment
@and_peggy I'd be losing my mind too. I'm so sorry you're going through that. I'll be praying for your appointment on Tuesday and hopefully you get some reassurance. Sending you love ❤
@and_peggy I'm so sorry you are still dealing with bleeding! I'm so glad have an appointment on Tuesday, but at the same time I know how far away that must feel. Until then, hang in there!
@and_peggy add my hugs in with the others! That sounds so stressful. But! Brown blood! That's not as scary as bright red, I think. Still...sending good thoughts your way.
Ugh, the headaches. I had one two days in a row last weekend and I thought it was covid cause I also had a cold and I never get headaches. It was not covid. Now my cold is better but I just got a headache out of the blue while giving the kids a bath. Must be the pregnancy. This sucks. I hate headaches.
@wisewitch222 I also have gotten headaches as a part of pregnancy symptoms this go. Idk if it’s lack of fresh air bc it’s so cold I’m in the house or what. I sleep with a humidifier right by my face at night which seems to slightly help
So, my covid symptoms were terrible headache and fever. Those went away 2 days after I tested positive but now my sinuses hurt a little. Could totally be that my house is way too dry. I also just feel like complete garbage and idk if it’s pregnancy or covid or both. It’s such a mind f*** right now. I’m outrageously nauseous, my stomach feels wonky, and I’m still exhausted. I do t have much of an appetite and nothing sounds good. Wahhh. I just want to feel better already!!!
@paytonpedro I know what you mean. I still have a nasty cough from covid, and I'm just so tired. I just ate breakfast after church, and it took so much energy to eat. What the heck?!
@bridgiebee82 I had cavity that needed to be filled when I was pregnant with DS. The office wouldn't schedule it until I was in my 2nd tri, and then flipped out because I didn't bring a piece of paper with a list of approved anesthesias/medicines with me (which BTW they never told me I needed to bring). Since it was minor, they decided to perform the filling without any anesthesia. So yeah, they a pretty strict from my POV.
@bridgiebee82 So sorry your mouth hurts so badly! The root canal gone bad just happened to my husband and it sounds like no fun! I was looking at my teeth the other day. I need to go to the dentist to get them checked at some point. I notice they’re more sensitive and easily bothered while pregnant.
@meagan-firsttimemommy8-22 I heard that pregnant women should use special toothpaste, like one with baking soda in it, but I don't know which brand. I've been using the "hello" brand with activated charcoal.
WHAT IS THIS ABOUT TEETH?! I have had nightmares about my teeth falling out for literal decades. Hellooooooo new facet to a very old anxiety! Calling my dentist on Monday to talk about best practices because I am not wanting to lose teeth. Will update.
Fwiw, my dentist said she'd prefer to wait til 2nd or 3rd.. if it was essential I think she'd do first tri. I have a problem tooth we're monitoring that im certain will need a root canal.. all her attempts so far have not worked. She seems more optimistic than me. I take a calcium supplement while preg and bfing, my teeth managed great with my first, and I have problem prone teeth
It’s totally safe (and actually recommended) to get a basic cleaning in first tri, they just won’t do x-rays. Fillings/surgeries seem to vary by dentist.

I made it through my first pregnancy never puking... I am just not a puker. Like 2-3 times ever that I can remember. Well friends, tonight I came pretty darn close ... close, but not quite 🤪
Still been having a headache all around my sinuses every day but have only been taking Tylenol every few days because I really don’t want to take it very often. I took one tonight because I just needed a break for a few hours and it actually helped about 85% and it’s glorious.
Anyone else have late night naseau? I tend to feel sick worse first thing in the morning and then late at night. During the day, I can keep it under control if I eat small meals.
Also, the latest pregnancy symptom that is frustrating - my scalp is getting itchy if I go too long between washes. I usually wash my hair twice a week, and lately by the time I wash, my hair feels super itchy. Washing my hair takes forever so I really don't want to do it more often, ugh!
@darkrose88 yes for feeling worse first thing in the morning, and late at night (like if I wake up in the middle of the night to pee). It's terrible, because there's nothing I can do to help it. I've tried eating first thing in the AM, but that just ends up being what I throw up 20 minutes later 😩
@darkrose88 my nausea is more afternoon and night. In the morning I usually feel ok.
My scalp has been super itchy lately and I wash my hair every day (always have). I’m not sure if it’s pregnancy related or more related to how dry my house is.
@darkrose88 definitely feel my worst right before bed and first thing in the morning. I started eating half a bagel or a piece of toast before bed and it seems to help some.
