R/R: We finally removed our Christmas tree yesterday and so my dog now has her living room window (which looks out on the street) back. She definitely was feeling "squeezed" having had to share it with the tree for 4 weeks. Lol. Otherwise, I'm on Day 3 of my elimination diet and feel like I'm getting the grasp of it. Only thing is that yesterday I felt really exhausted right after lunch and had to take a little nap. Thank God for WFH.

@acleverusername Hooray for working from home naps! Good work on the tree, I still have a few remaining items kicking around that I need to pack up but just can't seem to motivate.

@acleverusername I love having holiday decorations up, but it is amazing how open the house feels when we take them down. Great job on the elimination diet! hopefully your energy will bounce back soon.

R/R: This cycle failing bothered me more than I thought it would. I wish I could be more detached and rationale, but that's apparently not happening. I also am in a great deal of pain today as I decided to fall down the stairs yesterday. My body is doubly reminding me today of how old I am!

@Paturkey I hear you on getting motivation to do then things that have needed to get done for a while. I'm the worst at it. Just give yourself grace; you will get it done when you get it done.

@abjm0325 I'm sorry that you're more discouraged about this cycle. I know the feeling well. Also, how did you manage to fall down the stairs? Was it like a long flight of stairs? Are you sure you didn't sprain / break anything?

@acleverusername Thanks, I know I haven't even been trying that long in the grand scheme, but with the PGAL I feel extra pressure that I have to get PG more quickly in case it fails again. I realize how crazy that sounds, but apparently that's how my mind works.

We have wooden stairs at home and I had an armload of things when I slipped on the top step so I couldn't catch myself. Luckily it's a split-level so I only fell down half a flight. I'm mostly just sore and aching today, so I don't think anything is broken. I called a family member that is a paramedic immediately after, and based on my description of the pain he said it wasn't super likely I broke anything.

@acleverusername woo for WFH! My dog also absolutely loves his big window that looks out onto the street. He believes he's the king of the neighborhood and uses it to survey his domain.

@Paturkey sorry for the BFN. I hear you on the organizing and sorting. I always feel better when it's done, but actually doing it takes a big mental effort lol.

@abjm0325 sorry about your BFN, and about the fall! It doesn't matter how long you've been trying, it sucks each time a cycle fails. I swear my brain spins a roulette wheel for what its reaction will be each cycle. Failed cycles suck, and there's nothing wrong or crazy about being upset about it.

R/R: bwuh. Got a migraine yesterday, been down and out with it all day today. Pretty sure it's partly because AF is coming since I have cramps, which is good because that would mean the letrozole did make me O early. Annoyed because insurance is dumb and I may not be able to go forward with IUI again (full rant in IF thread) so I'm just over everything today. Also *tw for other people's pregnancy*

I feel extra miffed about the possibility of still not being able to start interventions right now because 1) my sister has a C section scheduled for less than 2 weeks from now and now that she's about to give birth, my feelings are super complicated. And 2) we found out this weekend that DH's best friend and his wife are expecting. Life sucks sometimes. At least I don't use Facebook often, so I found out via my husband letting me know, rather than seeing the announcement myself.

@fantasyflyte I am so sorry that insurance is once again (but big surprise there... NOT) standing in the way of our treatment. I guess the silver lining there is quicker O on Letrazole. Who knows, there is a possibility it might happen with just good ol' P-in-V and a bit of Letrazole.

@abjm0325 don't diminish your own fertility journey. We all have our challenges. Stay with your journey. Otherwise you'll just cause yourself unnecessary grief. *hugs*

@fantasyflyte That is so infuriating about your insurance. I'll keep fingers crossed that you can go ahead with your plan to get started before the pre-auth comes through. I'm also sorry about the announcement and emotional date coming up. Life has seemed to have handed you an unfair load right now. Sending you hugs.

@acleverusername Thank you, friend. I definitely didn't just cry in a piping hot bath while reading that.
