How are you feeling?: we all have Covid so like junk. Woke up to a random bleed, again. Getting a little tired of this.
Rants/Raves: I’m annoyed that we are quarantined and now my daughter is out of school until January 20. No raves because I’m too busy feeling sorry for myself right now.
Questions: I’ve had fever off and on with Covid. Trying to keep it away with Tylenol but at what point do I need to worry?
GTKY- What are you reading or listening to this week? A whole lot of Mickey, little Einstein’s, kids stuff 😆
Upcoming Appointments: ob visit plus NT ultrasound/first tri screening on February 4 (12 weeks)
How are you feeling?: Not sure if the nausea is actually abating or I just figured out how to manage it through a mixture of ginger supplements, eating, and NOT GETTING UP OFF THE COUCH. But I'm fine
Rants/Raves: University pushing the start of classes back a week translates into a bonus research week for me, which is awesome! Making some headway on my book! (I'm a historian. It is a medieval history book.)
Questions: Probably kind of weird, but did anybody else not see their baby move on the 8 week ultrasound? Sonogram tech was like, "baby's growing right on track, great heartbeat" and it was all happy and yay! But then I read all the pregnancy week by week blogs last week and they were all like "You can see your baby move on the ultrasound by now" and I definitely didn't. I never had an 8 week u/s (with my first I got a TV at 7 weeks and with my second we had just moved and local health insurance didn't kick in until 11 weeks) so I'm not sure if it's typical to see them moving at that stage. I have distinct memories of #1 flapping around manically at the 12 week NT scan.
GTKY- What are you reading or listening to this week? I'm reading an excellent fantasy novel my husband got me for Christmas, Sixth of Crows, and I'm really excited about it.
@and_peggy I would check in with your dr. If you can keep your temp down with Tylenol I would assume you’re doing ok. I’m also sure the random bleeding has to be a mind fck. I hope you and the family all recover quickly from COVID and I understand your frustrations about taking all the precautions and still catching it.
@wisewitch222 I didn’t see baby moving on the US at my dating scan either. We had to do TV bc my uterus tips and she couldn’t get the baby TA.
EDD / Weeks + Days: 8/10
Baby is the size of a(n): cherry
Team: finding out asap
Upcoming Appointments: 1/12 for first OB
How are you feeling?: disconnected and anxious
Rants/Raves: just posted a rant in randoms about mental health and feeling failed by my provider
Questions: to anybody who felt disconnected from a pregnancy when does it get better? I’m always thinking the other shoe will drop so I’m not really enjoying this time around, it also doesn’t help that I’ve been sick and tired and last time kind of sailed through pregnancy
GTKY- What are you reading or listening to this week? I want to start some books that I’ve had for a while. The next one is called Caste and I’m really interested in reading it. Also anticipating expecting better and cribsheet to be here soon and starting those as well.
@wisewitch222 thanks for starting this! I completely forgot!! My u/s this go around was at 6 weeks, but in previous pregnancies they were in the later half of 7 weeks and I don’t remember seeing baby move. Just the good heartbeat.
EDD / Weeks + Days: 8/11 9+4
Baby is the size of a(n): southern pecan/ chocolate truffle/ cherry 🍒
Team: finding out
Upcoming Appointments: 1/31 dr appt and nt scan
How are you feeling?: currently hungry for the first time in weeeeeeks, but surely halfway through lunch it will turn back to nausea. I’m also constipated so meh.
Rants/Raves: Our village gave out free covid test kits and masks today, and I completely forgot about it! But luckily for me, the line was forming on my way home from taking my kid to school, 15 minutes early, so I ended up in line anyways!! I had to wait around a half hour but there were probably 100 cars behind me, and only 40 in front of me, so not too bad for totally forgetting! It’s nice because I’ll be able to have these on hand for when we need them!
Questions: n/a
GTKY- What are you reading or listening to this week? I don’t read much at all, the Bible and devotional are about it. Or things I look up on my phone and then the additional rabbit hole I fall down. Listening to “who let the dogs out” every time my 3yo ds gets ahold of my phone… so every 5 minutes.
@paytonpedro funny story about that song. It’s not about dogs. It’s about ugly women in the club. I don’t remember when I learned this but it never left me
How are you feeling?: I'm exhausted! Today was my first day back since before Christmas and I had covid so I'm still feeling really tired. I also was able to pee whenever I needed to when I was home, and now I can't because I can't leave my Seventh graders alone!
Rants/Raves: The heat in my school building is not working so I'm shivering. I have on 2 pairs of pants, a shirt, a sweatshirt, and a sweater. I do have a space heater but it makes the electricity go haywire in my classroom. It's a really old Catholic school building in the city.
Questions: none today...
GTKY- What are you reading or listening to this week? I've been just sticking to my devotionals and the Bible, but I'm going to start reading other books. It's one of my favorite pastimes and I really got away from it in recent years. Any suggestions are welcome!
How are you feeling?: pretty damn nauseated, and exhausted - getting a good 10-11 hrs of sleep the last few nights.
Rants/Raves: b/c of covid we haven't had the house cleaned since 12.14 and praise be they come tomorrow!
Questions: natm
GTKY- What are you reading or listening to this week? playing catch up on my podcasts: post reports, pantsuit politics, murdaugh murders, excited for a new one called childproof
@and_peggy has your OB said anything about monoclonal antibodies? @wisewitch222 with baby #1 my first u/s was at like 7w, i don't recall movement... this one will be at 9w so i'm assuming totally different @wigglyicecream caste is on my list, supposed to be very good! i hope you enjoy expecting better, i read cribsheet, it was good but not as good as expecting better imo - have not read oster's 3rd book. i also really enjoyed bringing up bebe. @paytonpedro that's great about free tests and masks! it's still like hunger games trying to get them here, we have a little stockpile from ordering online at sams club. @bridgiebee82 um that no heat sitch sounds miserable. they didn't close school for it?!
How are you feeling?: Physically pretty good. Tired, sore boobs, off and on nausea but nothing too bad. I keep getting a shooting pain on my left pelvic side, low, I remember having this in the last pregnancy as well. Emotionally, SO nervous.
Rants/Raves: just time dragging. Same rant as always! Also I had my progesterone sent to me in the mail and it's not here. Starting to panic that I won't get it before I run out!
Questions: nada
GTKY- What are you reading or listening to this week? I e been reading a book called "Happiness" by amminata forna. It's really great so far! Also love her name because it reminds me of mushrooms. Not sure if there are any other fellow foragers in this group
How are you feeling?: pretty dang crappy. Nausea hit about a week and a half ago and decided to really ramp up this past weekend. I am just trying to survive at this point - attempting to work (I wfh) with little success.
Rants/Raves: DH decided to cancel his work trip this week because I’ve been so miserable - rant because nausea sucks and rave because he’s great
Questions:
GTKY- What are you reading or listening to this week? Trying to finish Three Wishes by Liane Moriarty - have a big stack of to-be-read on my night stand
Upcoming Appointments: February 4 for 12 weeks scan and testing.
How are you feeling?: still sick. I have been taking my zofran more regularly. I had been waiting until after I threw up to take it. The Dr assured me to take it if I feel like I need it. My one friend is married to an obgyn and she took it for her pregnancy too.
Rants/Raves: I had a patient that wasn't doing well stand up yesterday. I heard the chair alarm going off and ran into the room. I was able to steady him for a second and then he like took a step back and I couldn't steady him, nor was I Willing to hurt myself and he fell. After that I felt sore and super anxious that maybe I hurt myself anyway trying to steady him. Just feeling very anxious today.
Raves: we told my kids and they were so excited. I can't wait to share the video with everyone here...not ready to do that just yet though.
Questions: anyone have a suggestion about how to make oatmeal crunchy? I love oatmeal particularly when I'm cold but I like crunchy textures.
GTKY- What are you reading or listening to this week? I finished the sweet magnolias book series on audible. I downloaded four winds and didn't like the narrator. Any recs for audiobooks I'm open!
@leahrnmom Bake it into a cookie or bar. More surface area + more butter/sugar will give you more crunch. Reduces nutritional value, but increases taste value significantly!
DD / Weeks + Days: Aug 23, 8 weeks tomorrow
Baby is the size of a(n): Blueberry
Team: Finding out
Upcoming Appointments: First appointment 1/25. I've been waiting so long and it's getting close now!
How are you feeling?: Pretty tired, fighting nausea daily starting at 1pm until bedtime. I could set my watch to it. Luckily lemon ginger tea has mostly been taking care of it, but dinner has been dicey and I wake up so hungry every morning.
Rants/Raves: I took on too many projects in January, and now I have to actually write them all. Annoyed at myself for not realizing this was a bad plan. I freelance, and all I can think of is trying do as much work as I can to save money before I take my unpaid maternity leave. I forgot to factor in first trimester yuckiness.
GTKY- What are you reading or listening to this week? I'm nearly finished with Station Eleven. It's so good, it's been a battle between reading and sleeping some nights.
Upcoming Appointments: first US is on Wednesday! They JUST updated the visitor policy, so my husband can't go.
How are you feeling?: nausea has been really getting bad. Last pregnancy I puked a total of 2x. This time around it's tending to be twice a day. I simply can't function, so today I got an Rx for Reglan. Hoping it works!
Rants/Raves: Rave: DH is really stepping up where I simply can't do things, thanks to the nausea. He is 100% in charge of feeding and changing #2 diapers for DS. I'm so thankful, and tell him every day how much I appreciate it. I can tell it's overwhelming for him right now.
Questions: anyone else familiar with Reglan? Curious about your experiences.
GTKY- What are you reading or listening to this week? What keeps DS occupied. Right now it's videos of car washes on YouTube 😅
@wisewitch222 we didn't see baby move at our 7 week u/s, just a really strong heartbeat. Then at my extra 9 week u/s, I saw baby move so much the technican was worried she wouldn't be able to get a good pic. If you saw the heartbeat, I wouldn't worry.
EDD / Weeks + Days: 8/6, 10W2D
Baby is the size of a(n): Cardinal tetra fish
Team: Finding out
Upcoming Appointments: 1/26
How are you feeling?: Still nauseous occasionally but it has gotten so much better recently. Overall feeling better than I was a few weeks ago.
Rants/Raves: I asked the NP to look for baby's heartbeat on the doppler (even though she warned me it might be too soon) and she found it! Strong heartbeat in the 160s.
Questions: nope
GTKY- What are you reading or listening to this week? I've been on a romance novel kick, so I've been reading the Virgin River series. I tend to read several books in a row from a series then need to take a step back and read something completely different.
@darkrose88 I’m so glad you asked your np to look for the heartbeat and I’m even happier she found it!! So awesome!!
@malloryfrommn no advice on the reglan but I’m lol-ing at your ds’s current choice of videos haha. I remember my ds1 only wanting to watch videos of airplanes landing and taking off haha. Or he went through a fire truck phase too.
Baby is the size of a(n): cherry/blackberry/eastern tailed blue butterfly…. depending on what you look at
Team: green for now but I might give in
Upcoming Appointments: 1/31 at MFM and 2/4 at OB (I had to reschedule my MFM visit from 2/1 because the doctor was going to be out and so now I get to go a day earlier!)
How are you feeling?: good today so far! Yesterday I had a massive sinus headache and low level queasiness all day so very glad to be rid of both of those things for now!
Rants/Raves:
Rave- my husband went and ran some errands with a friend earlier today and brought me back some queso and chocolate chip cookies!
Not really a rant, more just a minor complaint but my husband dropped off our only car at the shop this morning to get hail damage fixed and the windshield replaced so we’re car-less for at least 5ish days. We can walk to the grocery store but that’s about it. It’s the best time to do it since I’m back working from home for a few weeks and we’re not going anywhere because of omicron but it’s still annoying.
Questions: none at the moment
GTKY- What are you reading or listening to this week? Started Expecting Better yesterday
@wisewitch222 I didn't see baby move at my 8 week US, just fluttering heartbeat. The tech said "you can see the little arms and legs forming" and I was like....sure....it was just a little blob to me.
@paytonpedro I had a bagel this morning, felt full, and a hour later my stomach is growling! What the heck. Feeling so hungry all the time, now.
EDD / Weeks + Days: 8/7 10w1d
Baby is the size of a(n): kumquat or strawberry depending on the app
Team: finding out
Upcoming Appointments: Jan 25th for 12 weeks ultrasound
How are you feeling?: Nauseous still, especially when eating. Hungry all the time. Sore boobs. Tired. Sneezy?
Rants/Raves: There's this guy on the writing forum I help admin who's getting on my last nerve. He can't grasp this one concept and I keep going in circles with him.
Also, a friend of mine is kind of going down this doom spiral right now regarding covid and the state of things and it's making me really anxious and stressed. I told them I couldn't take anymore of their venting right now and I think they're pissed at me. Oh well. TBH, I gotta do what I gotta do to keep my mental health from spiraling, too.
Questions:
GTKY- What are you reading or listening to this week? I read a lot, but taking a short break right now. Next on my TBR list is The Gilded Wolves, though I might just read a steamy romance instead. Because of my need for escapism right now.
@starkette I’ve definitely distanced myself from people who made me feel anxious during covid. I’ve even gotten off fb. I’m glad you were able to take a step back! Everyone on here is talking about bagels and now I want a bagel!! Maybe I’ll try to get my kids out the door early tomorrow and get one from a coffee shop 🤔
@and_peggy I’m so sorry you’re going through COVID in an already stressful time. I don’t have any advice because I don’t know anything about anything. But I’m thinking of you and your fam!
@wisewitch222 medieval history FASCINATES me. Are you writing, or reading? Either way it’s cool that’s a thing you get to do!
@wigglyicecream I’ve been having similar feelings. I’m not sure it’s disconnect, but I’m feeling like it’s not real. I keep questioning if there’s actually a baby in there. I don’t know anything (see above) but I’m with you anyway.
@paytonpedro a. I am terribly sorry for the perpetual ear worm you have but b. did you have to get it stuck in my head too? 😂 great job managing to get in line for free COVID supplies though!
@bridgiebee82 OMG the heat is out in my office too. We’re in an old remodeled house that was built in, like, the 1870s and the owner doesn’t like space heaters but we all have them right now. I’m staying fairly okay, but it is objectively cold in here. Thankfully it hasn’t been too bad - the office has two units and the other unit is still working, so we’re just keeping doors open that would usually be closed.
@anniemarie887 I've been wanting to get a house cleaner to come in, like, 1x monthly but first I gotta get my house clean enough to let somebody in it.....
@leahrnmom steel cut oats have a crunch to them! They also take five million years to cook, but they are so tasty on a weekend morning.
@malloryfrommn yay for ultrasound! I'm sorry YH doesn't get to go though. I feel you.
@darkrose88 YAY heartbeat!!! I'm so glad you asked.
@itsme215 I would cry. But I also live in the country so. It would be nice to have an excuse to tell people, "oh, no, sorry, our car's in the shop, we can't do the thing with you this week" though.
EDD / Weeks + Days: 8/30 / 6w6d
Baby is the size of a(n): honey bee
Team: MH wants to find out. I'm on the fence but can't stand a secret, so we'll probably find out.
Upcoming Appointments: 1/26, but I have no idea what is going to happen then. They called it an OB Complete so it sounds... fun. Hoping there will be an ultrasound??? I’ll be 9w1d then… please? Can I just have all the ultrasounds?
How are you feeling?: Honestly pretty good today, which is of course making me crazy. Constantly thirsty though and the pants I wound up wearing are the devil. I hate them. The good news is that all my dresses are clean, they just weren't DRY when I had to get ready because SOMEBODY forgot to put them in the DRYER before she went to SLEEP (hi, I'm somebody).
Rants/Raves: So I made my appointment for 1/27, thinking "It'll be fiiiiine" and then got to work and found out there was a conflict on the schedule with the only person in the office more experienced than me being off. So I moved it to 1/26 at 8AM, thinking it's the perfect time because I won't be that late, and MH can just plan to start work afterwards which will make him slightly later home, but I can deal with that because I'd make him get dinner for us. WELP. MH has a field-wide phone call for work that day, at.......... 8AM. I just want to pout. Is it really that much to ask for a Fortune 500 to just change one measly 300+ person phone conference so their Employee of the Year can see his little bitty blueberry sized baby?
Questions: none? I think?
GTKY- What are you reading or listening to this week? So my FIL and I have actually had a book club for the last year or so, and we've been slowly working our way through a bunch of fantasy series because I'm a nerd that married a nerd and we both come from nerd stock, so it's been great! We're currently reading "The Dolphins of Pern" by Anne McCaffrey and I love it.
Team: Finding out ASAP so that we know for when we announce at the end of the first trimester.. and can buy gender specific everything and know the name! Kudos to anyone who can wait. I’m sure that will make L&D more exciting in that way!
Appts: First Ultrasound (day before 8 weeks) with Hubby on Tuesday the 18th!! Second Ultrasound/Checkup Tuesday the 15th of Feb. And the NIPT, which I plan to back up the date of!
Feeling: Not enjoying the sickness and nausea/vomiting. Worried about making it through volunteering with kids 1-2 times weekly and seeing friends.
GTKY: I’ve been reading a fictional murder mystery. It’s helpful for me to prop up in bed before slowly laying down, so reading has been nice. I haven’t been listening to much, but I’ve been watching Downton Abbey and with my husband, NCIS.
@mangoandguava I’m lol-ing at your whole response here. Haha. Totally always forget to switch the laundry lol. Sorry your pants were the devil and it’s looking like yh won’t make it to your first appt. Maybe you can record it? Not that it’s the same but then you can still enjoy it together.
@paytonpedro thanks, I’ll be here all week! 🤣 Laundry is the bane of my existence. I suspect if a week were ever to go by where I didn’t forget a load of laundry in the washer, MH would think I’d been replaced by aliens or a foundling or something. The good news is all my dresses and leggings are dry for tomorrow!
I did get to have a surprise ultrasound at my pregnancy confirmation and I did record that one and we watched it together on the big TV in our living room, which was a nice alternative. Plus I have it to go back to whenever I want. So.
@meagan-firsttimemommy8-22 I have been wanting to get back into Downton Abbey! Where do you watch it? (Please don’t say Prime.)
@wisewitch222 You are a historian?! So cool! I love history, and have serious brain crush on Doris Kearns Goodwin.
@wigglyicecream I know what you mean about feeling disconnected. I happened with my first more than this pregnancy, and lessened as the pregnancy went on. I think it was a way of mentally shielding myself incase something went wrong. On a separate note, I LOVED Caste. Curious to hear what you think after you finish.
@maggiemadeit I didn’t read Station Eleven, but I’m really into the HBO series!
EDD / Weeks + Days: 8/6, 10w2d
Baby is the size of a(n): strawberry
Team: Finding out
Upcoming Appointments: 1/25
How are you feeling?: Like crap.
Rants/Raves: I’m so ready for Spring and it’s only Jan. I’m running out of in-the-house fun for my energetic almost 3yo.
Questions: I feel like I may need my pregnancy pillow soon. Has anyone already broken out theirs?
GTKY- What are you reading or listening to this week? I was really into the Peter Jackson Beatles documentary on Disney+. I’m in Beatles research mode now, and am in the middle of a Broken Record podcast where Rick Rubin is interviewing Ringo.
@lmaplejc thank you for validating that feeling. It’s so weird for me. I think it’s me trying to protect myself. As far as my pregnancy pillow… we are supposed to put them away when we aren’t pregnant? I sleep with mine every since I got it in 2018. I plan to start caste now that I’m slightly feeling better. Which is also a mind f*ck.
@mangoandguava I'm writing a book about sixth century religious worship in Gaul, but to write I have to do a lot of reading, so it's pretty much always back and forth. Last week I wrote several pages. Then today I wrote one paragraph and then requested six library books and had to stop because I need those books before I can write the next section.
@lmaplejc I saw Doris Kearns Goodwin a couple months ago at my university. She was so interesting, but I was really disappointed because instead of letting her talk for 45 minutes about her new book (which is what these talks are normally like) they did this "interview" with her and it was like a lame talk show and such a waste of having a visit from a brilliant writer!
@lmaplejc +1 for running out of indoor activities. Also too exhausted to do indoor activities 😅 To answer your question, I haven’t pulled mine out yet. But probably only because it’s buried. But I probably will soon. I feel like in my last pregnancy journal it asked what my advice would be about the first tri and I wrote to pull my pillow out sooner. I’ll check on that. Lol.
@wigglyicecream I kicked my pregnancy pillow out after delivery, but I’m missing my old friend. Good thinking, we have 2 nuggets but they are in sofa mode. I’ll have to up my construction game.
@wisewitch222 Glad you got to see her, but ugh, that sounds like a waste of her talk.
@paytonpedro mine is also buried somewhere in the depths of our basement. That is the main reason we haven’t reunited. That, and I’ll have to wash it, which is a chore and I don’t like chores.
How are you feeling?: last week my nausea switch abruptly to frequent hunger. Aversions aren't gone but aren't as restrictive either. It is a welcome change. Also hello round ligament pain! I didn't miss you.
Rants/Raves: tough day over here - DS was exposed to COVID at daycare last week and is considered a close contact. He's out all week. It's my first week back at work after a nice long winter break and now it's going to be a big ol struggle. I haven't gone more than 3 weeks without a COVID related daycare disruption and it's so exhausting to work through this! Ugh. Also, DS's COVID test tomorrow is scheduled for the same time as my OB appointment, so DH can't come because he'll be taking DS to the pediatrician. Being spouse-less and masked and such at OB appointments feels like deja Vu all over again with my 2020 pregnancy. I'm so excited to go tomorrow, but sad DH can't come, stressed about needing it to go quick so I can get back to work or take over DS so DH can go back to work, and I can sometimes get queasy/fainty with blood draws so hoping tomorrow doesn't go that way while I'm by myself. Sigh.
Questions: stm+ - anyone feel like you're changing shape/showing already? I have a tummy so I wouldn't say I'm showing necessarily, but it feels like the belly is growing much sooner than I expected. The "warmed up effect" seems real maybe??
GTKY- What are you reading or listening to this week? Listening to Hey bear sensory videos in the background while reading email 🥴🙃
@wisewitch222 I’m so fascinated by your book! How did you pick the topic?
@and_peggy so sorry to hear about your fever and I hope you are able to keep it down with the Tylenol! We are just waiting for the inevitable Covid hit over here.
EDD / Weeks + Days: 8w4d
Baby is the size of a(n): kidney bean/raspberry
Team: little dude in there
Upcoming Appointments: 1/27, I’ll be 11 weeks. A little nervous I couldn’t get in at 10 weeks so I could start first tri testing but hopefully it’s all good.
How are you feeling?: nauseous, tired, kind of like a bump on a log, missing having the energy to exercise. And seriously my boobs are enormous, like, maybe a size F or G? They just blew up. And I’m 5 ft 1 and a half and that half feels important to me.
Rants/Raves: I feel like I am never not ranting these days, so how about a rave! Im just so glad to be here after so many years of trying, I keep trying to remind myself of that when the first trimester blues get me down.
Questions: none at the moment!
GTKY- What are you reading or listening to this week? Honestly I haven’t had energy for much and am in kind of a rut in both categories. Just doom scrolling until I fall asleep lately! I do have a big stack of books on my night stand I need to break into.
@wigglyicecream I wouldn't say I feel DISconnected to this pregnancy, but I feel less connected than I did with DS. I think it's normal to not be able to sit so squarely and fully in "being/feeling pregnant" when you have other kid(s). Personally, I'm hoping my first OB appointment tomorrow helps, as well as other pregnancy experiences (ultrasounds, kicks, bump, etc). Also I'm about halfway through caste. A really compelling and important read!
@leahrnmom nuts (almonds, walnuts?), Crunchy peanut butter, coconut flakes...chia seeds won't make it crunchy but will absorb some liquid!
@mangoandguava that's so cute about you and your FIL having a book club! Also loling at your post. Sorry about the scheduling struggles. MH also works at a bigger company than me and his schedule makes no sense to me.
@meagan-firsttimemommy8-22 oh girl team green is so fun! The planning isn't much different (I'm very type A and had very little issue with it) and the delivery room moment is so so awesome. Great reward after 4 hours of pushing.... but that's a story for another day 😅 also I watched Downton in my early postpartum days with DS last summer! @mangoandguava I think it's on Peacock
@mehugg I am 8 weeks tomorrow with #3 and it’s getting hard to hide my belly. It’s still soft and squishy and mostly bloating I’m sure, but it’s sticking out in that way that makes someone think “I wonder if she’s pregnant?” I thought I was the only one who could see it but I definitely saw a mom friend this weekend looking…
Re: Weekly Check In 1-10
Baby is the size of a(n): kumquat

How are you feeling?: we all have Covid so like junk. Woke up to a random bleed, again. Getting a little tired of this.
Rants/Raves: I’m annoyed that we are quarantined and now my daughter is out of school until January 20. No raves because I’m too busy feeling sorry for myself right now.
Questions: I’ve had fever off and on with Covid. Trying to keep it away with Tylenol but at what point do I need to worry?
GTKY- What are you reading or listening to this week? A whole lot of Mickey, little Einstein’s, kids stuff 😆
5.5.16 | 8.14.17 | 1.30.19
EDD / Weeks + Days: 9+0
Baby is the size of a(n): grape or olive
Team: finding out
Upcoming Appointments: ob visit plus NT ultrasound/first tri screening on February 4 (12 weeks)

EDD / Weeks + Days: 8.24, 8w tomorrow

@wisewitch222 with baby #1 my first u/s was at like 7w, i don't recall movement... this one will be at 9w so i'm assuming totally different
@wigglyicecream caste is on my list, supposed to be very good! i hope you enjoy expecting better, i read cribsheet, it was good but not as good as expecting better imo - have not read oster's 3rd book. i also really enjoyed bringing up bebe.
@paytonpedro that's great about free tests and masks! it's still like hunger games trying to get them here, we have a little stockpile from ordering online at sams club.
@bridgiebee82 um that no heat sitch sounds miserable. they didn't close school for it?!
EDD / Weeks + Days: 7 weeks
Baby is the size of a(n): blueberry

EDD / Weeks + Days: 8-17 / 8w+5d
Baby is the size of a(n): gummy bear
Team: finding out

How are you feeling?: pretty dang crappy. Nausea hit about a week and a half ago and decided to really ramp up this past weekend. I am just trying to survive at this point - attempting to work (I wfh) with little success.
Rants/Raves: DH decided to cancel his work trip this week because I’ve been so miserable - rant because nausea sucks and rave because he’s great

EDD / Weeks + Days: 9 weeks 5 days
Baby is the size of a(n): bottle cap

EDD / Weeks + Days: 8/21 / 8w 1d
Baby is the size of a(n): raspberry
Team: finding out
Upcoming Appointments: first US is on Wednesday!
EDD / Weeks + Days: 9w1d
@paytonpedro I had a bagel this morning, felt full, and a hour later my stomach is growling! What the heck. Feeling so hungry all the time, now.
@wigglyicecream I’ve been having similar feelings. I’m not sure it’s disconnect, but I’m feeling like it’s not real. I keep questioning if there’s actually a baby in there. I don’t know anything (see above) but I’m with you anyway.
Appts: First Ultrasound (day before 8 weeks) with Hubby on Tuesday the 18th!! Second Ultrasound/Checkup Tuesday the 15th of Feb. And the NIPT, which I plan to back up the date of!
EDD / Weeks + Days: 8/8 10+0
Baby is the size of a(n): strawberry
Team: green!
Upcoming Appointments: TOMORROW! I'm so excited.
