DD wore this wrap onesie (and pants later) to go home. I'm a big fan of Jamie Kay for sweet and sentimental outfits. This is the ONLY photo I have of her going home. I am determined to get better pictures this time.
Don't have any great pics on my phone, but this is what DD2 came home in. DD1 came home in the same outfit and I'm planning on bringing this little guy home in the same one too. Just a little sleeper, and we'll have to wrap him in a blanket and hat once he's in the car seat, but it should work out. I'm sure the girls will want to change him as soon as we get home, but I feel like it's tradition now to use the same outfit.
I have NO idea what DS will be coming home in. DD outfit i had planned she was 2 pounds too light for. DH had to go shopping for Preemie outfits after she arrived since newborn was entirely too large. I'm at a loss as to where to even look for something online. Suggestions of websites with cute boy clothes?
Had an outfit picked out, but may have to go shopping again if Ms. Lilly Rose makes an early debut and is still on the small side when she comes home. DS wore a onesie referencing Hannah’s prayer for Samuel in the Bible. It said ‘For this Child We Have Prayed’ in white script on a baby blue background. Let me see if I can doctor an old pic…
I have no clue. DD came home in reindeer jammies (it was Dec) that were too big haha. I will have to look through what we have but probably nothing groundbreaking
@achanceintime I’m getting a Caden Lane knotted gown but haven’t decided on the print yet!
DS came home in a cute grey and white outfit that is now in a shadow box. I do have one preemie outfit just in case she does come early but her legs are so long already I don’t know how she would ever fit in it.
Love looking at these outfits! I'm hoping to get a zippered footie with a cap in both NB and preemie size. Still shopping around, though. DS wore a NB top and bottom that was way too big!
DS came home in a onesie couldn’t even tell you which one 🤭 I mean I’ll put him in something warm but I’m sure my efforts will be similarly lackluster this time around as well 🤷🏻♀️ BUT I do have this super cute winter hat that DS was always too big for so I’m excited to throw that on him
DS came home in a hospital onesie because he screamed terribly anytime we tried to put him in the cute buffalo plaid fleece sleeper we brought for him to wear 😂 haven't thought much about this babe, but definitely feeling a monogrammed outfit maybe.
No pictures but I have an outfit in my cart that says "Going home to meet my best friend" and is covered in pawprints! This is baby number one, and we're excited for the bond between her and our puggle (who bonded with our friend's toddler and already loves people).
DD1 wore a onesie a friend made with her name on it with some black leg warmers. The twins, I got them solid colored long sleeve gowns, one white, one grey, along with their the hats and blankies I made them (green for Georgie, purple for Dottie). Georgie's wore hers home, and those are what we had Dottie cremated in. Somedays I regret not keeping Dottie's hat and blankie to snuggle now, but I needed her to have the things I made her to always be with her.
Not gonna lie, I'm too scared and PGAL brain won't allow me to even begin to think about going home outfits yet. I have a muted rainbow colored blanket I've started for Reuben, but still have a lot left to do on it. I just don't have the emotional capacity for it right now which makes me feel sooooo guilty.

@lurvleybunchococonuts Don’t beat yourself up too much, it’s hard. I’m still kind of dazed that they’re estimating I could need to have this baby in 5 to 6 weeks when she’s due in 11. I need to pick up a preemie outfit to be safe, but my brain has still been in a kind of shock.
This is the top contender! Funny enough that the ad had our name on it as well. DS had a cute “hello world” outfit. But I didn’t get ANY cute photos because for that first 24 hours he just screamed the entire time unless he was was eating 😂 so here’s his wtf mom face 😂
Cute options! Since we're team green I'm looking for a knotted gown that comes with both a hat and a bow. They're harder to find than I thought they would be! Both the first kids came home in maroon/white outfits so I am debating sticking with that theme.
Obsessed over this topic for a few days and landed on this sweet outfit. After it gets here i’ll decide whether I want to embroider her initial or monogram on it. Need to see what it feels like first.
Ended up buying this for a going home outfit. Can’t believe I’ll be meeting our little boy in nine weeks or less. Going to start preparing hospital bags soon.
After talking with MH we picked out a come home outfit. I like it because it has a similar color to his rainbow blankie I'm making. I had a huh... It's January, babe is on due in March moment and realized I better get cracking on his blanket and things.

Pic in spoiler
@Panaceia That is such a nice tradition to continue!
@achanceintime That is lovely! I love the idea of a personalized blanket!

The outfit is cute, but the blanket looks gorgeous! I wish I knew how to do that! You’re so skilled.
