@MusicalFamily a poll would be great! I have experience as a Facebook group admin for my local Buy Nothing group and would be happy to be an admin for the BMB group whenever it is created.
@313Meg Not the same, but my son was born with foot deformaties. I’m sure I’ll botch it up, but they diagnosed him with metatarsus aductus in one foot and calcaneovalgus in the other. He ended up needing braces that go up over his ankles which he still wears daily, though his feet are showing definite improvement from when he was born. Little guy is zipping around now at 18 months at the ‘not quite running, but I can go fast now that I have basic balance’ pace. He also loves trying to undo the Velcro on his braces because he’s a little troublemaker. Lol
I hope your little is able to get braces in a similar fashion. Docs encouraged me by saying braces work great now because kid’s bones and muscles are still looser, so repositioning with braces usually does the trick without surgery. Not sure how it is with club feet, but hopeful for you!
@faithmovesmountains oh man! Good to hear he’s doing great with them!! There are options for boots and a bar until 4 years (hopefully that’s it) after his serial casting. I love hearing medical success stories!!
