In the past 2 weeks, I’ve done online order/store pickup at 2 different places. At both places, there were large dedicated spaces for online order pickups, like with permanent signage. At both places, the orders are actually kept in other secret areas. Today the lady was so rude about it and basically ushered me out the door while I was trying to nicely explain how confusing it was. I’m so annoyed. I have SO much patience with food service workers right now because I know everywhere is short staffed but to not at least acknowledge that this goes against logic is baffling to me
@bows22 wtf? Like we're how many months into the pandemic, I get that places are short staffed but isn't that even more reason to have good/clear policies and procedures for these kinds of things? I learned early on which stores were worth doing curbside pickup and which ones were awful about it and it had a big impact on where I chose to shop.
My BF is just me being super annoyed with MH's new insurance company. Since I also have coverage under my own plan, in order to qualify for coordination of benefits I have to submit everything to my own insurance first, even the stuff that I know I'm not covered for or that I've already reached my max, just so I have a proper reject to then submit to MH's insurance. I understand why they do that but the last company they were with didn't require this so it was super easy to submit all my bills for maximum coverage through both plans. This way is going to take weeks or months to sort out because my stupid company needs me to mail in my hardcopy, original receipts too, which is archaic and stupid and so unnecessary. Buuut I'm grateful to have any of this covered in the first place. IVF itself is not covered but the drugs are under both his old plan and the new one (mine doesn't cover any of it except the doxycycline lol, whoop de doo $6 each).
TTC History:
Me: 36 MH: 39, TTC since Dec 2017
Aug '18: PCOS dx
Nov '18: MH SA - 19mil
Dec '18-Mar '19: Letrozole + TI - all BFN
Apr '19: Letrozole + TI, - BFN. Repeat SA (27mil) & DNA fragmentation test (17%)
@bows22 I mean...it's good they have a sign but why not just use the original space anyways... then you won't need a sign.
I picked up lunch yesterday and the restaurants pick up kiosk is inches away from a table where people were seated eating and I felt so awkward hovering around them to get my food. But the pulled pork mac n cheese was 100% worth the awkward
@kiki047 Insurance companies make everything so much more difficult than necessary. I really feel like they do it hoping people will just give up and pay themselves
@walkawaynee totally agree! I do think it’s funny though because I said they should have a sign and as the lady was ushering me out the door she informed me that they used to have one but everyone should know by now. I guess they aren’t expecting new customers. 🙄
