Just had some bright red blood when I went to the bathroom. I’m waiting to hear back from the clinic. My last US on 9/30 the SCH had resolved by half and he said it was so small we wouldn’t need to recheck. I guess best case scenario right now is that it didnt resolve yet and that’s what’s causing this bleeding? The first time I’ve bleed from it at all though... I have my 12 week appt tomorrow so I’m hoping they’ll have me come in early for another US
Thanks for the good vibes everyone! My OB did an US at the bedside this morning and baby girl looked great. Bouncing, kicking, waving he is unsure but thinks the bleeding may have come from my cervix after stopping progesterone this week. He wants to do a cervical exam if it happens again.
I woke up this morning with a very alarming amount of bright red blood in the bed and mild cramping. My doctor wasn't in to call, so we decided to go to the hospital to at least get an ultrasound. Baby's heartbeat was fine, and we were told it was SCH. I have no idea how big it is yet, but the bleeding has already started to slow down. Seeing that heartbeat was an absolute gift, but now I'm so anxious of what the next few days will hold. I'm supposed to call my OB Monday.
@trailkinder That's terrifying! I'm glad you were able to get a little peace of mind with the u/s and that looked great; I hope your OB is able to ease your anxiety more on Monday.
