Hi there, I believe I’m about 4 weeks along. This is my second pregnancy, my first ending in a loss at 8 weeks. My periods are irregular so I’m not entirely sure when I ovulated this month, but I had a random day of nausea and my nipples were super sore Saturday night. I took a test Sunday and it was positive - a little faint and showed up after about 30 seconds. As the week has gone on, my boobs have been less and less sore. I’m getting a little worried because last time when my symptoms started going away, it was likely because I lost the baby. I’m wondering if it’s normal to have symptoms not a strong as a previous pregnancy or symptoms that come and go/dissipate a little early on.
PS. I’ve been on a topical progesterone for 2-3 weeks to try to help regulate my periods, so I wasn’t sure if that would have any affect on my symptoms.
Re: Decreasing symptoms
With my second, zero symptoms. Not even sore breasts. Nothing for weeks. Then I just got really fatigued and that was my main symptom. I didn't feel pregnant at all! TW: Then I started bleeding at 8 weeks but all was fine and now she's almost 3 years old.
Now with my third, even though I'm only 4 weeks along, I only feel bloated. My breasts aren't very sore at all. Things in the beginning are slow, usually real symptoms don't hit until 6-8 weeks so stay calm, if possible. Symptoms can be a comfort sometimes, but they aren't the determining factor in a healthy pregnancy.
