Why do you think you can be pregnant from before your period? And why don’t you trust your doctor? If you don’t trust your actual DOCTOR, why in the world would you trust internet strangers? Your doctor knows your fundal height measurements, how your baby looks on ultrasound, when you tested positive, etc., which we do not. Trust your doctor or find one you can.
Oh wait, you’re the person from TTGP. Please, PLEASE, PLEASE read a biology textbook. Or just google “how long does sperm survive” or whatever. This is not that hard. I’m pretty sure you’re just trolling at this point.
What is wrong with all of you God damn women its a question and all of you guys are being so dang rude about my question like really I see other questions no this bored that are dumb but those questions aren't getting rude comments like mine thought all of you women are just so hateful

Frankly no one is being hateful, you’re just being painfully inconsiderate and obtuse. Your doctor has already answered this question. What on earth could a bunch of strangers on the Internet, without a complete understanding of the situation or access to your medical records, add?
@metria27 this baby is your husband’s based on the information you provided. Your OB can tell the age of your baby with a lot of accuracy and wouldn’t be off by an entire cycle. You can’t have a period while pregnant (but some women spot), however it sounds like you had a 5+ day regular period. One night stand sperm is long gone. His STDs might not be, though, so take your OB up on any offers for optional STD testing.
I agree with the others, though, that you’re asking the same question over and over of multiple people (OB, us) and getting the same answer, which is annoying. I don’t think it has anything to do with judgment for having a one night stand, and I wish you had been honest in the beginning about your question being about paternity. March 16 sperm is long gone.
*lurking from the far shores of long-term benched while TTGP*
@metria27 i am sure it is very stressful to be substantially far along in your pregnancy and still be wondering whose baby you're gestating. I don't judge anyone's choices re: who they sleep with or why. But what does really get on my nerves is the assumption that we're all obliged to answer your (poorly phrased, cryptic, and even downright misleading) questions just because you ask them. Seriously? You made this out to be your 16-YEAR-OLD SISTER'S deal and now it turns out it was your mistake? This is the internet. We owe you nothing. You made your own decisions for whatever reason about who you slept with, and your doctor has already answered your questions about the timing of conception, but you still insisted on polling internet strangers, and now a half dozen or so other people here in 1st Tri and the TTGP board have also offered their opinion, based on what they know of the situation. If the folks here on the boards delivered their opinions with a side-helping of sass, that's because you're a random who has barged several times over into a roomful of people who have gotten to know one another, thrown your dirty laundry onto the table, and insisted we consider it with you.
History
I am doing this on my own. Left ovary and fallopian tube removed due to cyst/necrosis just after birth. Right ovary and tube still purport to function.
Began TTC in Aug '18 @ age 35
5 or 6 (or 7?!) cycles using frozen donor sperm, ICI. All BFN
Mar-Jun '19 IUIs, all BFN
Began process of referral for RE in spring of '19, blood tests confirm low AMH (.54) but all else is good.
May '19 HSG shows open tube, but ultrasound suggests fibroids
MRI in June '19 confirms two large fibroids, one growing through wall of uterus
In June '19 I move from California to Oregon, disrupting my insurance, referrals, etc. 5 months spent piecing it all back together.
Nov. '19 attempted myomectomy (vaginal approach) failed. 2nd surgery using laparoscopic method in Jan '20 is successful.
April '20 --> June '20, natural IUIs, all BFN.
July? saline ultrasound and bubble test demonstrate open tube
July '20 clomid cycle cancelled for thin lining
Aug-Oct, 3 femara cycles, all BFN
RE referral. While waiting to set up an appointment Nov-Jan,I continue with natural cycles and ICI, using a known donor, BFN...
Jan '21 more bloodwork, AMH is worse (.30), FSH high albeit not catastrophic at 13.2. hysteroscopy all good. "looks cozy!" says the RE.
Feb '21, injectables (menopur, novarel), iui, BFN (doc said the frozen donor sperm sample had the "best numbers she'd ever seen!")
Mar '21, injectables, iui cancelled due to lack of follicles, converted to at home-insem. BFN
May '21, first IVF round cancelled due to cyst.
July '21 IVF: standard antagonist. 225menupur/225gonal-f/cetrotide/5000u trigger, AFC 7; 6 days of stims. 8 eggs retrieved, 7 mature, 5 fertilize, 4 made it to blast. 3 are 4AB, 1 is 4BB. PGT-A results all abnormal. Oct '21 somewhat improved AMH (.51) and significantly improved FSH (8.9). Maybe it's all the pills I swallow. Dec -21, standard antagonist. 225menupur/225gonal-f/cetrotide/5000u trigger, AFC 5; 11 days of stims. retrieval yields 5, 4M, 2 reach day-6 blast (4AB & 4BB). 1 low-level mosaic (chr. 3 deletion), 1 complex abnormal. Feb '22 FET (low-level mosaic): CP. May '22 egg retrieval, lupron flare protocol. HGH priming for 1 month before stims; md lupron 20/20u daily; menopur 225, follistim 225, 10k trigger after 8 days of stims; AFC 10; 13 retrieved; 10 mature; 8 fertilized. All frozen at 2PN for later thaw, grow, and biopsy. July '22 egg retrieval same protocol: 9 days of stims; AFC 8; 10 retrieved, 8 mature, 4 fertilized and frozen. Sept '22 ER same protocol: AFC 10; 12 retrieved, 11 mature, 11 fertilized. From the 3 retrievals, 7 survived to day 5-6 blastocyst, from which I have 2 normal embryos! Jan 20, Fully medicated FET, baby aspirin, dexamethasone, acupuncture, and as much woo as I can stand (which isn't very much). BFN. July 23, Natural FET + baby aspirin. BFN.
What is wrong with all of you God damn women its a question and all of you guys are being so dang rude about my question like really I see other questions no this bored that are dumb but those questions aren't getting rude comments like mine thought all of you women are just so hateful
Your question has been answered many many MANY times, including by your own doctor. Why do you keep asking it? Take a paternity test when the baby comes out if you’re that concerned.
@metria27 so are you just like, gonna keep asking the same question and being cranky about it or what. you’d be a lot farther along if it was from your adulterous encounter. You should probably consider marriage counseling,

You posted a couple weeks ago asking the same question about sperm and periods.
You stated this question was for you 16 year old younger sister.
Now you're telling us the same period and intercourse dates but it's with a one night stand and your husband??
