My first ultrasound was right on target at 7+1. HB was 134 😍 (the pic she gave me was terrible though 🤦🏼♀️) She was trying to find my csection scar and flipped it over to 4D which was kinda cool to see.
It was at MFM where they have the really high tech ultrasound machines. She was having trouble finding my csection scar so she turned it on to see if it would help and then she snapped a pic. Crazy cuz you can basically see my whole uterus. 😱
All looks good over here! Measuring right at 8 weeks but they’ll keep my date from my LMP (only off by a few days) and we saw the heartbeat flicker! My uterus is all smashed because the nurse had to push on my abdomen to get a good look.
Loving seeing all the little babes! I have no idea when my US will be. My MW appointment is on Sept 22 so I will find out then. So far away though! I'll be 9 weeks at that appointment.
First ultrasound of this little bean. I almost had a heart attack in there because she could only find an empty sac and said we would discuss “options.” But then she found it wayyy up in my uterus, thank goodness. Everything looks healthy! HB was 140, and we’re sticking with my LMP due date of 04/13 because it was only a couple days off.
@doxiemoxie212@SmashJam@shlecks We haven’t had a twins announcement yet, who’s it gonna be?? 👀 My dad is a twin and there was a time I thought it’d be fun but idk now lol
Omg hahaha! My MIL said that too! “Are they sure there’s only one baby in there?” And I’m like, “well the nurse was squishing my belly down to see everything so I suppose anything is possible”
@aloha_mama It was awful! But I totally get now how doctors can miss a second baby on the ultrasound, because this one was not visible anywhere on the screen for several minutes. So thankful to find it!
Also I totally wished for twins when I was a kid, but now that I’ve gone through the newborn and terrible twos phases with one, I’m like no wayyyyyy haha
A girl in my first BMB group found out she was having twins at her 20 weeks scan. She'd had early ultrasounds but they had missed the fact that there were 2 in there every time!
@Blondesweety444 well that's terrifying lol. I think being a twin sounds great, and props to anyone who has multiples, I think it's definitely worth it in the long run, but I literally don't think my body would survive a pregnancy of multiples given what happened with just one .
Honestly I was really hoping it was twins haha but didn’t expect it to actually be the case!! Definitely explains why my fatigue and nausea are SO much worse than previous pregnancies. But I definitely cried tears of joy as soon as I realized there were two! Both are in their own sacs and measuring 9+3 with heartbeats around 170.
