FTM/STM/TTM: STM

Upcoming appointments: 8/27 for I believe just a regular checkup and NIPT if we end up getting it done...
How are you feeling?: SUPER bloated. It's frustrating because none of my regular clothes fit me but my maternity clothes are still too big....anyone have any suggestions?
Rants/Raves: The Vermont weather! One day it feels like fall, the next your sweating to death!
Questions: Kind of mentioned it above but just clothing! My regular clothes don't fit but my maternity clothes are still too big. Finding something I am comfortable in every day is a huge struggle!!! Is anyone else having this problem/any suggestions?
GTKY: Do you like or dislike surprises? Why or why not? I like surprises as long as it is 100% a surprise. If I get even a hint that I'm going to be surprised, I get anxious about what it could be.
Baby is the size of a: Ladybug
FTM/STM/TTM: 5TM
Team Finding Out/Blue/Pink/Green: Finding Out
Upcoming appointments: Next Monday is my first appointment
How are you feeling?: I hate this stage so much. I feel starving all the time but I can’t eat enough. So dizzy all the time, waves of nausea, just bleh. Also, I don’t care what y’all say, I’m 100% showing already. This is baby 5 in 6 years and my body has started preparing much faster each time.
Rants/Raves: Rant - covid. It’s always about covid.
Questions: Anyone have issues drinking water? I hate drinking water. Also, my blood sugar is always low. Need to get on top of that.
GTKY: Do you like or dislike surprises? Why or why not? I really hate surprises that I have an idea about. I don’t enjoy the attention being on me and would prefer to just move along and have things be as normal as possible. As long as it’s not a public thing and I don’t know it’s coming, I can enjoy a nice surprise.

@gembud with you on the coffee...hoping the taste comes back 2nd tri
@Nik102 we've told several people who knew we were trying. Otherwise going to try to wait it out till 16 weeks or so. But by the feeling of my pants i'm not sure that's going to work!

Finding out
Sept. 2nd for regular OB visit
Not awful, but not great
Chiropractors are the best. If you are having back pain already, like me, I highly recommend finding a chiropractor. I will be visiting mine weekly for the remainder of this pregnancy.
None
I haven't really experienced any big surprises myself, but as long as it's a good surprise I'd say bring it on!
EDD / Weeks + Days: 8+3
@brianalee9757 I'm living in yoga pants and nursing tanks right now;)
@v2hb Um...yes to showing already. This is pregnancy #7 and I think my body just went "yep...I know where this is going" and just threw in the towel...I am also struggling with water right now. Someone suggested Gatorade and it has been a life saver!
@morgantu I can't let myself get full, I can't let my stomach get empty, and I can't get dehydrated. So I sip on orange juice or Gatorade all day, have some sort of bread that I nibble on continuously, and eat right before I go to sleep. Don't get me wrong, I look land feel like the walking dead (and even reinjured an old whip lash injury while throwing up this morning...so that is fun) but my body is at least moving...so I'm calling it a win! I also got adjusted by the chiropractor regularly during my 1st pregnancy. It was amazing!!!!!! I definitely recommend starting now!
EDD / Weeks + Days: 3/19... somewhere between 8-9
@morgantu yay team green!
Green? Probably? We were green with DS. DH is adamant that we are only having 2. I told him that Ive wanted a daughter since I was 3, and If he's adament about only 2, then I might need to find out so that I have time to adjust to never having a daughter, before baby is born. Knowing how PP hormones are all fuckery, I don't want to resent a son-even briefly. (I know that sounds awful. I love my son bigger than the universe. And I will honestly be thrilled, no matter the sex. But I know how awful hormones were to me last time. And Ive had a baby girl name for 18+ years and I will be sad to never use it haha)
It seems I won't be getting a dating scan. So that's disappointing haha. At my last appt, OB asked how certain I was about my dates. I didn't realize why, and of course was honest. Then I realized maybe I should have stretched the truth and said "we weren't trying so I wasn't closely tracking" haha. I wanna know if baby is actually ahead..
I like nice surprises. (Hence team green).
I don't like people jumping out at me. I scare too easily.
Most surprises seem to get spoiled for me though 😅 DH planned a surprise 30th bday, but I accidentally figured it out. He seems to order gifts off Amazon, but the notifications come to me haha. I pretended to be surprised about the proposal. Friends did surprise bridal shower but accidentally texted me about it😂...etc. I try SO hard to be oblivious 😂
@Nik102 We will tell family after the first ultrasound, but won't plan to announce at work or in wider circles until after 12 weeks. Mostly because I'm a little more private and don't want to tell non-family if something devastating were to happen before 12 weeks.
@brianalee9757 I bought some stretchy dress pants (beta brand) that have been good for the in-between phase. I figure they will be good for post partum too, and really any time because who doesn't want comfy work pants?
@jlbaker08 I agree with others that for me NIPT would be for planning and mental preparation purposes. Totally up to you how you prefer to process though!

Blueberry!
First Timer
We are still undecided, but leaning towards a surprise. 😊
First Dr appointment is tomorrow 8/10! First US is next Wednesday 8/18
Horrible. Every part of my body is in revolt.
I don’t mind surprises, but I don’t like to be the center of attention. So private surprises are ok, but like, getting the waiters to start singing on my birthday? Hide me.
@jlbaker08 Agree with the others re: NIPT. I'm a planner, so knowing details ahead of time helps me prepare.
@abjm0325 Bagels and cream cheese is my go-to snack!
@rachelredhead similar thoughts for yours! But FWIW we recently had a patient that was less than 18 months out from her previous c-section. we were nervous about it, so I asked one of my favorite docs about it and he told us the studies show no significant increase in uterine rupture than those who've had a c-section longer than 18months prior.
All this being said, if I personally was trying to decide I'd have a hard time as well, because having a planned repeat seems so *simple* and easy to plan, etc, but also if my body as proved it can get to pushing stage, i'd be more tempted for trial of labor. As long as your doc is on board, I definitely don't think there is a wrong way to go!

I think I will ask the OB for a dating scan. I'll be 9 weeks then, which I think is in the acceptable range..right?
As long as they don't move me back 😅. That's what happened several times last time. I don't want to be on these Injections a single day longer than I have to!
Edit typeo
p.s. congrats on the new house!
EDD / Weeks + Days: March 10th, 10 weeks today!
I got the letter from the hospital in the mail this morning. it's booked for Aug 23. I should be 9+3. I wonder if I can sweet talk the sonographer into showing me some stuff and giving me some info haha. Instead of having to wait nearly 2 weeks to find out results..
