WTO Thursday 6/24

**This is a thread that welcomes all regardless of where they are at in their TTC journeys. Please be mindful of topics that are discussed that could be hurtful to those going through tough times. Mention of children or pregnancies of others should have a TW (trigger warning) and be in a spoiler if possible, and only be mentioned if it is extremely pertinent to the conversation. Thanks for keeping this a safe place for us all to engage!**

R/R: boy am I tired this morning! Likely because we didn't end up going to bed until 11. It's been much better when we're asleep by 10:30. We're supposed to get rain over the next couple days and I'm weirdly exciting about it. Idk, I've just really been enjoying the sounds of rain. It is pretty soothing. In just over 2 weeks we'll be on vacation so that's on my mind too! Gotta put my pack list together and instructions for my parents to take care of all the pets.

And for those of you familiar with the whole wedding debacle with my SIL and future BIL. Still no date is set, although I have heard the fall (next year obviously). It sounds like they can't agree on anything as my SIL doesn't want a big whole thing while future BIL wants the massive celebration. Or I guess she just doesn't want a big ceremony as I know she wants there to be dancing at a reception. And no, it's not going to be at a movie theater because no one can accommodate a dance floor haha. I still think it's a little weird that we haven't been asked to be in the bridal party. Even if it's going to be a while for them to have plans, you'd think they'd at least know who will stand up in their wedding. I guess you wouldn't ask people until you have a date set so they can accept or decline based on availability. We still haven't decided if we would even accept. Hoping we have a kid by then so I can decline helping with the excuse that I'm still working out keeping an infant alive :D Pretty sure we're going to  be a hot mess but if not, she doesn't need to know that haha.

@inthewoods23 that wedding stuff seems a bit bonkers, jeez. I hear you on the rain, though. I love the smell of rain, too. Especially sitting by an open window listening to it and smelling it.

R/R: Nothing too much exciting going on today. I'm trying to psych myself up to do some more work around the house this afternoon, but so far my motivation is zilch. I got all worked up when FitBit gave my a FW reminder thinking I was late on starting OPKs, than I realized it's CD 6 and FitBit is nuts.

    CS/Q: Nope

@fantasyflyte Good luck on your final! Be sure to post pictures of the cakes when you're done.

@inthewoods23 That wedding seems...intense. Here's hoping it works out so you can beg off the wedding party!
