Very thick gloopy clear discharge at 7 weeks? Looks like a mucus plug.

Hi sorry for the gross post but I've just wiped myself and on the tissue paper was thick clear discharge the same consistency as thick glue. Has anyone else experienced this?

  • Yes this is completely normal! As long as it’s not smelly or yellow-y, get used to lots of discharge in pregnancy! If it is stinky, tell your healthcare provider. Nothing serious just could be a UTI which are more common in pregnancy

I would just mention it at your next appointment. It might be completely normal or something like a uti or yeast infection, which are very common in pregnancy.
