    All I wanted to do was sleep through Memorial Weekend. Sleep in, take lots of naps. But insomnia and stress, etc just wouldn’t let me 😩 Today of course I could sleep the day away but had to be at work for 6:30! Guess I’ll try again this Saturday! 🤞🏼

    I went to Whole Foods for the first time since the pandemic, and I hadn't had breakfast yet. I made a beeline for the prepared foods area to get some oatmeal, and they had closed down all the prepared foods and set it up for the Amazon shoppers to bag stuff for the online orders or something. I get it - covid precautions, who wants people breathing all over the BBQ, etc, but I really wanted the stupid oatmeal!

    My 2yo woke me at 430am, and wouldn't let me put him back down. So I brought him to bed with me, which obviously didnt work. We were out of bed before 6am.

    @sarah_is_pregnant and @laurabridget, I hope you can catch up on some sleep today! 

    @Lisa3379, I feel ya.  The other day, all I wanted was McDonald's oatmeal and it turns out that's not part of their all-day breakfast.  It's the worst when you're craving something and can't have it!

    My b*tch for today is that we're still in school! 3 more days.  Sucks that other districts around us are either already done or are done earlier than us.  I also hate how tired and nauseated I am all the time.  I feel like a failure of a wife and mom right now because I feel like I literally have zero energy for anything.

    I am with all of you who mentioned fatigue and nausea being OUT OF CONTROL. I only worked a few hours today (thank goodness) but it was so miserable. I just want to cry 😭😭😭

    Got my confirmation call from the OB for my appointment tomorrow. A little disappointed. Not only am I seeing rhe nurse practioner instead of the Doctor as expected. I don't dislike the nurse practioner. But she just doesnt have the personality of my doctor. She's also not as compassionate They are also not doing a dating ultrasound tomorrow. That will have to be scheduled after I see the nurse pactitioner. Likely not for another 4 weeks. Thus being 12 weeks before getting my 1st ultrasound. Which. I know is typical in most pregnancies. But I wouldnt consider myself a typical pregnancy especially seeing how I was high risk with all previous pregnancies. Also the longer you wait for the dating ultrasound the less accurate the dating ultrasound is. This peeves me just enough that I want to reschedule my appointment , but doing so would just procrastinate things.

    Coming in for round two today. @firewife2021 is right. Apparently it's the Mondayest Tueaday! I can't stand the pre-k teacher in the afternoon sprays bugs pray ON my daughter's clothes. It ruins them. I messaged the teacher today requesting that only arms and legs from now on. Mayne I'm just being a B*@!$, but if drives me nuts.

    I’m on solo parenting day 3 and I think I’m already getting grey hair. Took kids to the zoo by myself this morning and I’m exhausted...and of course my littlest took a 20 minute nap on the way home and won’t take another nap so I’m running on fumes, can’t keep my eyes open, and still feel nauseated for about the billionth day in a row 🙄

    I am tired just reading about all you mamas here who already have their hands full! Y’all are amazing.  I’m exhausted as heck and don’t have any kids (just a very active dog).  It’s a very hot Tuesday where I live and my AC is super loud so that’s annoying me at the moment.  So I guess that’s my bitch of the day.  And I think my dog has a heat rash and we can’t get a vet appointment for two weeks which is annoying.

    I applaud all you ladies who are going into work/have other babies to care for.

    I am finding myself exhausted all day and then having a terrible stuffy nose/insomnia at night. It’s so cruel.

    @fifilala516 - I have the insomnia bad too!  It’s currently 5AM in Cali and I’ve been up for over an hour mindlessly watching tik toks. Just finally tore myself off that app to come here.  Hubs, dog and one of the cats are all snoring away in bed with me.  Lucky ones!

    @firewife2021- I miss coffee too-- I was drinking it until it started to make me feel sick. Now I can't even look at it! 

    This is my 3rd pregnancy, but first one I have to work through- with my first I was a teacher and my first trimester was during the summer and during my second, my first trimester was during the summer of my PhD program. Now I need to figure out how to work 40 hours a week through this haha Luckily we're still working from home and I don't need to be in an office

    I am excited and blessed for this pregnancy ...but honestly all I feel is anxious and scared! This is my first pregnancy so I know that’s part of it but I can’t stop worrying about “what if’s” what if I miscarry...what if the baby has health issues....my doctor told me because of my age and AML level it would take a long time to get pregnant or I made need IVF...well...I got pregnant our first true month of trying and we are getting married August 7th...I feel like I won’t get to be excited until I’m like 5 months pregnant and I have all the testing done etc. also...I’m really overweight (70lbs overweight) so that’s scaring the shit out of me too. Again...super happy and feel blessed to be pregnant ...but I’m just emotional and can’t stop worrying! 😩

    @chelswcu12 the what ifs were the worst with my first pregnancy too! Do what you can to make the best baby you can, and leave the rest up to God, or whoever you believe. I loved that my husband would remind me that our baby was perfect (as far as we knew.. but he didn't put that disclaimer) and we would take news in stride .. and try not to think about the what ifs.

    @chelswcu12 I would recommend a fetal.doppler. and not necessarily the expensive one. But with my previous PG I would listem to the heartbeat and it would reassure me that everything was ok.
