    @madiirosee we have the Graco pnp with the net thing that lets the mattress be raised and has the bassinet attachment. It's worked well for us the first few weeks baby roomed with us...and is perfect for traveling/when little cousins come visit us

    How are you feeling?: Tired, random morning sickness here and there but I'm managing just fine ๐Ÿ‘

    Rants/Raves: We're going to the beach for a few days on Sunday. I know it's Memorial Day weekend and it will probably be crazy, but I'm looking forward to being able to go out on the beach in the evening and early morning! Plus, my daughter was so cute at the beach last month; I can't wait to take her again ๐Ÿ˜Š

    Questions: ๐Ÿคท๐Ÿผโ€โ™€๏ธ @galentine I bought a new car seat for this baby, as my daughter is still using the one we would otherwise use for him. I'll probably get him some clothes, too. I'm looking at bedside bassinets, but I want to wait a bit and see if it's even something we'll need. He might be totally fine sleeping farther away from us (very unlike my daughter); in that case, we'd stick with the pack n play until we move him out of our room. I'm considering a double stroller, but we'll probably just wear him as long as possible, so I'm going to wait and see on that one too.

    GTKY: ice cream sandwich or king cone. Or chipwich, why not.

    @aztecash, oh my goodness! I'm sorry for the stressful weekend snd roller coaster of emotions (and for the doctor being late ๐Ÿ˜ก). But I'm so glad to hear everything looks ok with baby boy! โค

    @cait32, ugh! That's so frustrating about your practice suggesting another unnecessary test. I'd be annoyed by that too. My DD had the same type of cyst at her anatomy scan, and they didn't even tell me about it until 4 weeks later at my next regular appointment.ย  After being told most go away by 3rd trimester, I asked my doctor if they'd do an ultrasound to check, and she said it wasn't necessary because even if it didn't resove on its own, it's very very unlikely to cause any issues. ETA - I ended up having a later 3rd trimester scan for an unrelated reason, and I actually reminded my doctor and asked her to check to see if it resolved. I honestly think she'd forgotten about it at that point.

    @noprobalo it depends on where you live and what August weather is like and how expensive the tickets are. I'm un the upper Midwest, so if they were reasonably priced I'd buy em with the huge understanding that I might not go and I might lose that $.

    @noprobalo my concerns would be about the weather, getting stuck in my chair due to giant baby bump, and the accessibility of bathrooms. If you can sort out a way to manage all that (e.g., your husband understands he will be helping you in an out of your chair every 20 minutes for you to go pee ๐Ÿ˜›), no reason not to do it!

    madiiroseeย I think this is close to the one we went withย Amazon.com : Graco Pack 'n Play Playard with Cuddle Cove Removable Seat, Glacier : Babyย we accidentally used the napper for a while but once we stopped we liked the changer portion.ย 
    @vampirina yay for camping! Did you tent camp?
    @galentine we're keeping all of the furniture that is DS' room for baby. So we're buying him a new dresser and bed. Our bike trailer/stroller is a double and SIL gave us her double jogger. So I don't think I'm going to bother with a stroller with the carseat insert for newborn, I'll wear him as often as I can and then we'll hit OH winter. Also going to buy new nursery decor. Maybe a baby swing? We had passed one around family, and other SIL just had a baby so IDK when we'd get that back, they're out of town.
    @noprobalo I would if you are comfortable with the setting. Are you familiar with the venue, like to get there early pick out a shady spot? DH is fine with leaving earlier if you're over it? We saw Paul McCartney at an indoor arena 8 weeks or so before DS was born. We made a weekend out of it and had a blast. The arena seating was killer though and we left earlier.

    @vampirina I expect hot and swampy. I don't think the tickets are too pricey. We'd probably spend more to board the dog for the evening.

    @pizzaplz Not sure if this is better or worse, but we'd probably bring a blanket to sit on. We don't have any of those short concert chairs. But I would definitely try to scope out a spot near the bathrooms. ๐Ÿ˜‚

    @gingermama46 I've never been to the venue. Not sure whether there is any shade. Good point.

    How are you feeling?: I'm feeling great!ย  I am at the point where the nausea is infrequent and I am not as tired all the time!

    Rants/Raves: rave- DS#1 has been very interested lately with baby.ย  He is always asking where the baby's (insert body part) is?ย  This morning before work he told me he wanted to set up the baby's bed so that it can sleep when it gets out of my belly!

    Questions: DH really wants to know sex, I don't want to know, we didn't find out with our previous 2, so do I give him this one, or stick to my guns? (There is no way he could keep it a secret if only he found out)

    GTKY: Strawberry Eclair (we call them strawberry crunch)

    @galentine I feel like we don't need anything for this baby, but I am itching to buy things so badly!!

    How are you feeling?: doing pretty good. Iโ€™ve been getting really irritating leg cramps that last all afternoon and evening. Trying to drink a lot of water but sometimes it doesnโ€™t help. I need more bananas maybe! Trying to regularly walk for exercise and the bottoms of my feet ache so bad. Just ordered some new shoes that were recommended for pain in the ball of my foot, which is where most of my pain is, and hoping that helps!ย 

    Rants/Raves: I was really freaking hoping to have my braces off before the baby was born. Iโ€™ve had them on for 2 years + 2 months and it doesnโ€™t sound like theyโ€™ll be off by October. Uuuggghhh. What I donโ€™t need with a newborn is to try and find time to go to the orthodontist and have my teeth hurt when Iโ€™m already dealing with all other kinds of pain and recovery!ย 

    Questions: When do csections usually get scheduled? I canโ€™t even remember. Im going to try and call and see if theyโ€™ll schedule early so my mom can get a definitive date and book a flight. Apparently thereโ€™s a sale happening ๐Ÿ˜†

    GTKY: oooh the eclairs !!!ย 


    @ma@madiirosee thatโ€™s exactly where Iโ€™m at. I feel like Iโ€™m still holding my breath before my anatomy scan and once that goes well then I get let go of that anxiety and fear from my previous losses and really start to believe it and buy things and enjoy this!ย 

    We used this bassinet for my daughter and she slept in it next to our bed until she was 3 months which is when we moved her to her crib in her room. Neither of my kids would sleep in a PNP until they were solid sleepers like 6-8 months+. I think itโ€™s just too big and spacious. This bassinet is small and my daughter would always inch her way to the edge and sleep with the edge touching her for comfort. And itโ€™s completely flat with no incline option which is perfect!ย

    @galentine I think I could handle all the parts of camping minus sleeping in a tent ๐Ÿ˜† I guess if I had an RV or pod and air conditioning maybe I could handle it ๐Ÿ˜†๐Ÿ˜† Dh and I were talking about camping close to home and then him and my 5 year old would stay and sleep in a tent and me and my 3 year old would come home and sleep in our beds ๐Ÿคฃ๐Ÿคฃ๐Ÿคฃย 

    Anatomy scan followed by a much needed date night sounds so perfect !!!!ย

    @c@chindimples04 oh yeah I forgot I bought all new nursery furniture for my daughter. My son kept his crib and the matching dresser/changing table attachment and nightstand, and we got a new crib/dresser/changing attachment/nightstand for my daughter. We also got a second monitor camera, crib mattress obviously for the second crib, bassinet (we got rid of our rock n play that we had used with my son), new burp cloths, new bottle nipples, new binkys (which my daughter refused binkys of all kinds ๐Ÿ˜†), new bibs, we did all new decor for her nursery... I canโ€™t think of what else we got! I bought a few sweet girls outfits but we have a lot of friends with girls and almost all her clothes were hand me downs.ย 

    @nopr@noprobalo weโ€™re trying to decide if weโ€™re going to go to an outdoor concert in mid august thats 5 hours away ๐Ÿ™ˆ the tickets were for last summer and this is the rescheduled show. There is shade and cover there though so I wasnโ€™t worried about weather as much as the drive when Iโ€™m 32 weeks pregnant. But I think I havenโ€™t given enough credit to how hot Iโ€™ll be while pregnant. I am dying of heat all the time already and itโ€™s 70-80 degrees and cloudy here everyday ๐Ÿ˜†

    @cenz@cenzosmomma Iโ€™d probably give this one to Dh :) if you were surprised with the first two then it could be a fun and new experience to find out this time!!ย

    @kateshepherd828 Have you been tested for a yeast infection? When I went in for one, my OB said that sometimes they cause increased watery discharge, rather than the usual symptoms.

    Good luck on your anatomy scan, make sure to update! Iโ€™m a FTM too and was so excited but so so anxious too not knowing what to expect. Itโ€™s so fun seeing them in there ๐Ÿฅฐ

Iโ€™m hoping the interview is a hit or a miss so itโ€™ll be easy to decide on. We are literally going to RI next week to check out towns

    Upcoming appointments: June 1st anatomy scan and June 4th OB appt

    How are you feeling?: Iโ€™m feeling pretty anxious and nauseous all the time. Iโ€™m still throwing up 4-6 times a day. All I eat is fruit; itโ€™s all that stays down. ย Iโ€™ve been feeling worse this past week and was on the verge of going to the hospital a few days ago.ย 

    I think I will be insisting a PICC line appt be set up at the hospital after my June 4th appointment. My SO is able to go to the appt with me and I know he doesnโ€™t want to leave without this all set-up. They are very hard to maintain...I mean you have to shoot in heparin, you pull out clots weekly, they can get infected, no lifting anything over 10 pounds, you have to spend a lot of time wrapping it for showers, keeping it clean, etc. Still better than where Iโ€™m at now.

    Rants/Raves:

    My boobs are straight out of control. I had them done in my mid 20โ€™s before I had my DD and they survived the pregnancy well. They are big but not obnoxious or obviously fake. However, Iโ€™m retaining a lot of water right now and they are up to 32G. This didnโ€™t happen with my DD until my my milk came in.

    Iโ€™m going to the dentist in an hour and Iโ€™m very nervous because two rounds of HG have reeked havoc on my back teeth. I definitely canโ€™t wait on getting a few things done and itโ€™s not going to be in our budget. Hopefully somehow we can make it work.

    @kateshepherd828 I can relate. It just makes me feel unclean and there isnโ€™t a whole lot that can be done for something that isnโ€™t being caused by a yeast infection or bacteria. I use panty liners and change them a bunch.

    GTKY: Iโ€™m not really a chocolate fan so a screwball or creamsicle. Outshine no sugar added popsicles are a daily thing for me.

    @madiirosee UGH I just feel so strongly against them hahahahaha itโ€™s a rant that has been building up since my first wedding shower like 2.5 years ago... and it went awesome today!!!! We actually found out the gender just because we couldnโ€™t handle her turning off the screen because we didnโ€™t want to miss a second of seeing the baby. Itโ€™ll be a fun secret for just the two of us to keep until October unless one of us slips up!ย

    @kateshepherd828 I didn't have anything except the thin discharge and then a little bit of blood one day. I don't think it was a particularly bad infection since symptoms were minimal, but the blood worried me, so I went in and they checked. But if it's really annoying you or changes for the worse, might be worth asking.

    Upcoming appointments: I had my anatomy scan on Monday, and baby ALMOST didn't show his heart so I would have gotten an extra scan. Darn MFM got it at the last second!ย 
    Since I was having such trouble with a rapid hb, my OB had ordered an EKG like maybe a month ago? I never heard back so when I followed up this time it took her a million years to find the test in the comp, and it was borderline abnormal! So I have a cardiologist appt next week.ย 

    How are you feeling?: Pretty good, but the OB I saw on Mon (not my usual) wants me to go back on thyroid meds. That's what I suspect gave me the tachycardia.ย 

    Rants/Raves: Can't think of anything right now beyond the crappy weather this weekend. Oh and I hesitated on the power wheels I was going to get DS for his bday next month and now it's sold out. I can have it shipped to me for an extra $120 though! Grrrr
