@mrs_massie all went well!! ππ»ππ» Thank you for asking! I believe everything was normal, although didnβt get a good picture of anything other than her feet. π€£
Had our anatomy scan yesterday at 19+5. Baby boy is doing well and growing about a week ahead of schedule! Doctor said with my minimal weight gain itβs likely all genetic (my husband is 6β4β). He was a bit stubborn and it took a while to capture all the images they wanted, but we got it all. Iβm just happy/relieved that everything looked goodΒ Β
She was moving like crazy at the anatomy scan (20w), so it was hard to get a good picture. I call this one, "demon baby", it's a face from some sort of nightmare:
Thankfully she ultimately calmed down enough to get a half-decent shot.
21+3 at repeat U/S last week to get the angles they couldn't see at my anatomy scan. I had no idea she could just flip a switch and do 3d. Never had 3d U/S with my twins. I almost cried seeing him. Everyone says he looks like his sisters.
@bklynchica The 3D is so crazy! It was my first time seeing that as well. My husband is happy because it sort of looks like she's giving us the finger, which he finds amusing
26.5 week appointment today and officially the start of my βold ladyβ ultrasounds as I like to call them. I have already had two other βgeriatricβ (i.e. over 35) pregnancies but this has been the only one where I get extra sonos just for being over 40. Hey, I donβt mind that one benefit of being an elderly mama. π€£ Baby girl is measuring almost two weeks ahead and weighing in at 2lbs 7oz! Gonna be another big baby just like my three boys (they were 9lbs7oz, 9lbs1oz, and 8lbs14oz, respectively).Β
Going back every two weeks from now until the weekly appointments start. π³π³π³ I can hardly believe it!!

I had my 28 week check for baby's choroid plexus cyst (CPC) and it had resolved itself!!! We are so excited!
Baby didn't want to give us a good face shot. He showed us his cute toes and that he is folded in two. That will feel really fun when he moves into poison for delivery!Β

Had another βold ladyβ ultrasound today, I feel spoiled I get growth and fluid checks every two weeks just for being in my 40s, but Iβll take it. Hereβs a shot of the front of her face, her little eyes are partially open as well! Be still my heart, she gave a full on YAWN during the scan and my heart nearly burst. πΒ

@mamakate2011 I'm so jealous.Β I'm well into my 40's and don't have another scan until week 32 at the earliest.Β Β

@laurad75 bummer!!! In all honesty Iβm surprised my OB is having me have so many sonos this time around! This is my third baby Iβve had over 35, but the first time sheβs ordered so many sonos. She says lower fluid amounts is common in the 40s, so thatβs the reason for all the checks. But Iβm still surprised! Because to me sheβs not a super conservative doc. But, I guess Iβll take it!!Β
So, I actually had another sono today even though I had one yesterday! π³ this one had been planned for a while as it was an elective 3D sonogram since my hubby hasnβt been able to come to any except the first and the anatomy. Weβve done a 3D with all our kids and itβs just so fun! This is my sweet baby girl, love her little cheeks and lips! She looks so much like her brothers in the womb!

My anatomy scan was yesterday, and baby boy looks FANTASTIC!! Many of his organs are in good working order. Wow, wow, wow, wow, wow, wow, wow, wo His HB was 147, and he was wriggling about in there and becoming very cooperative for the tech. They did confirm that it was indeed a baby. I got to see his tiny scrotum and bum wee, and I'm relieved it's done.
In Toronto, Etobicoke, Thornhill, Scarborough, Vaughan, Markham, Mississauga, North York, and East York, A Date With Baby is unquestionably the finest when it comes to providing high-quality 3D ultrasound offers.
