I’ve been nauseated everyday (mid morning to mid afternoon) since Thursday last week, which really caught me off guard. This is my third pregnancy and I never had morning sickness in my first two. I thought I just didn’t get that symptom, joke’s on me!
Trying to remember all of the ginger candies and things I bought for my first two pregnancies and never used...
Luckily, my symptoms so far have been pretty mild (look, now I've jinxed myself) - a little tired, increased appetite, sore boobs and my sense of smell is out of this world! Some nausea here or there when my stomach is empty, but nothing too bad - let's hope it stays that way!
Count me in for the tired club! I’m amazed at how exhausted I am lol totally wasn’t expecting it to be this bad so soon. This past weekend I experienced my first “why am I crying” incident. I accidentally spilt DHs coffee all over the stove top and walked away blubbering. Laid on the living room floor and cried and everything 😂 and then I cried because I was crying and I wasn’t expecting to be so emotional so soon. I also had my first “morning sickness” experience this morning while brushing my teeth! Totally not expecting that this soon either! Only 4 weeks today.
This is my fourth pregnancy and my symptoms have been a mix of all with some new one! Sore boobs, tired, and a little hint of heartburn which I have had before. This time though things are tasting more sour and my sense of smell is so heightened with some nausea. I hope everyone’s symptoms stay mild.
I drove past my exit to go to work yesterday and had no idea until I looked up and didn't recognize my surroundings. Ugh ridiculous!

STM. I'm feeling a little more fatigued than normal, a little more hungry, and definitely experiencing brain fog. I had some mild cramping and spotting, which has since stopped and now I mostly just feel gas.
@sonovia I haven't had much of an appetite and when I do all I want is spaghetti or fruit smoothies
I had a little spotting today which, of course, made me spin out a bit. Thankfully I called my RE and he got me in to check my hcg and progesterone levels. They increased from 541 on Monday to 2610 today so I am feeling reassured and more calm. Ugh this early pregnancy thing, for me, is more stressful than the 2WW

@breadit124 Oh no! I didn’t really have any nausea with my first 2, so I assumed that just wasn’t my thing... I guess we’ll see with this one! I know I’ve heard some old wives tales saying you get sicker with baby girls, and my first 2 are boys so, there’s that?
So far just super tired all the time and one might say I’ve been just a tad moody/cranky
So far I’ve been experiencing: -Unable to sleep or get comfortable -Tired in the afternoons -Sore boobs -Nausea (didn’t have this until 6-7 weeks with my son and when I did, it felt like being hungover. This is just sick-to-my-stomach feeling) -Upset stomach -Acid reflux -Moody and emotional -Body odor: this is new for me. I seriously feel like I STINK! Like rotten onions or a smelly gym sock.
Very tired, sore boobs (so long, underwires!). Feeling very stretchy in my lower abdomen, like a good yawn/stretch. Add that to bloating, and my stomach is sticking straight out. Makes me quite uncomfortable in work clothes. Have had a cramp here and there that took my breath away. First pg, and I’m 5w4d, age 40 (so already tired all the time lol).
Nausea and aversions have definitely settled in! So far it was the smell of tuna and then this love heart candy scented hand soap that made me GAG! Struggled to keep my lunch down lol
I’m not a crier but I’ve cried twice this weekend. I have to believe that’s from this pregnancy..

Has anyone experienced forehead sensitivity in the shower? When I run the water over my face my forehead throbs, it feels like brain freeze. I dont experience anywhere else on my face or body just the forehead/third eye area.
@sonovia yes! I get something very similar with every pregnancy. Mine is more in my eye area but I get a brain freeze sensation with temperature shifts of warm or cold water. It has always been my weirdest symptom and it happens early and lasts the entire time lol
I started spotting this morning and although I know it can be totally normal I am still very uneasy right now. I am 5+2 today. I spotted with DD but I remember it being very faint.. this was a little more red/brown and was mostly when I wiped but some ended up on my underwear also. Will be calling the RE as soon as they open but I'm not sure what they can do this early.. maybe just take a blood test to see what the HCG levels are? Anyone else going thru this?

I am 5 weeks, 4 days and I don’t even feel pregnant. Had a miscarriage in September and I can’t stop worrying now. My breasts feel a little sore, but absolutely no nausea, no mood swings, no cravings, no increased sense of smell, nothing. I am trying to keep calm in case everything is ok, but I almost hope I toss my cookies soon just to feel normal lol. Waiting for an ultrasound on the 26th is feeling like an eternity. I had every single symptom last time, right through the end of the miscarriage. So different this time.
@teamginger13 I spotted around 5 weeks with my son. I’ve had 2 miscarriages (1 before and 1 after him), and no bleeding with either of those. Spotting and brown stuff can all be normal. Definitely call the RE.
AFM- I’m just super tired. Like all from the moment I get up and all day. I’ve had some heartburn, which was so bad with my previous pregnancy so not looking forward to that getting worse. I’m anxious to get back to exercise. I run and ran through most of my previous pregnancy, but the RE specifically told me not to at least until I have a viability scan. I think I might go crazy because running is my therapy and the weather has been just perfect the last week where I live.
@knottie14711ccb91074d9f A missed period was my only pregnancy symptom the entire first trimester with my first. I hear you, sometimes I *wanted* to feel some nausea or something just for some reassurance that I was still pregnant. So far, this pregnancy is going the same way for me. I can only imagine how previous loss adds to that anxiety. For me, I've just had to trust that every day without my period just a strong a sign that everything is going ok as nausea or cravings, occasionally (like after a few days) I'll take another pregnancy test for some reassurance that the pregnancy line is still showing up strong, and otherwise I try to find something to keep my mind busy and focused elsewhere.
@teamginger13 Sorry you're feeling uneasy! I hope a talk with your RE can bring you some peace of mind and that the bleeding stays light and stop soon.
@mkp0903 I hate running, but not being able to do something you love when the conditions are so right for it sounds like torture. Good luck!
@teamginger13 I had a fair amount of brown blood and then brown discharge yesterday at 5+3. Today I had an ultrasound and was diagnosed with a small sub-chorionic hematoma. My RE said that nearly 50% of IVF pregnancies end up with one and they generally go away without causing much trouble. Were you able to see your doctor today?

I went in for blood work and my HCG was 9,500 which the nurse said was normal. They said it was too early to do an ultrasound which I know is false since I’ve heard other women get one at 5 weeks. Basically I have to wait until my scheduled u/s which is next Tuesday, 3/16. The spotting stopped this afternoon so now I’m just trying to stay positive.

@KNB1027 mine was red at first which covered a large portion of the toilet paper when I wiped. It never actually dripped down so was only ever when I wiped.. sorry if TMI. After the initial red it was mostly brown.
Is bright red bleeding normal for a SCH? Did your RE say that it might continue? Sorry you are going thru this.
