it kind of varies by state, but we will leave the hospital with her and we have to stay in the state she is born in for up to a month while all the paperwork is finalized. I don't think we will be at the birth since the birthmom isn't sure she wants to meet us- but some people do get to, it depends on the wishes of all the people involved.
