  • r these 12 week ultrasound? 😀  it's interesting though. When I found a gallery last night the images 12 week 3d ultrasound look absolutely different than what you've posted here ))  maybe it's because they've just put 3d images?
In Toronto, Etobicoke, Thornhill, Scarborough, Vaughan, Markham, Mississauga, North York, and East York, A Date With Baby is unquestionably the finest when it comes to providing high-quality 3D ultrasound offers.
  • My anatomy scan in 1/13, at 20 weeks. I had my AS for DS at 18 weeks, so I am finding the waiting hard. Can't wait to see our little guy!

  • @mindyb2019 so glad to hear baby boy is doing well! That must be a big relief
  • we go for our AS tomorrow and I am so anxious even though I have started feeling kicks and movement.
  • @brilea9 yes! Skull faces are the best!  With DD we had the anatomy scan mid-October and got some good skeleton face shots
  • I had my 20 week scan today and little sis is looking healthy. They said I have marginal placenta previa, or low-lying placenta previa, has anyone else had this? I’m a little anxious and worried about the worst case scenarios and just trying to stay positive hoping for best case. The follow up ultrasound isn’t for 8 more weeks. Waiting 8 weeks during a pregnancy for important news is going to be painful. Best case it resolves on its own 🙌🏽
  • @kfc1983 how did your AS go? I know you had some serious concerns.

My husband's aunt had a placenta previa at 21 weeks, but it resolved by 30 weeks and they kept an eye on it. She ended up having a breech baby anyway, so they went with a cesarean birth. I've also had 2 clients (former doula) with previa and they both resolved by birth, but I am not clear on the timeline with those. Both clients had vaginal deliveries, one of them very smoothly, the other had an OP (sunny-side up) delivery but that was very likely unrelated.  :)
Good luck! It is my understanding that they usually resolve themselves and in the case they do not, a cesarean birth is scheduled, which would be the safest option at that point. I do not have first hand knowledge of previa or cesarean births, just second hand as friend/family member/doula. I hope you get some peace soon!

  • @it_is_a_baby I had marginal placenta previa with DD, and it completely resolved on its own and I was able to have a vaginal birth with no issues.

  • @legallykate i had marginal chord insertion with my second and no one seemed as concerned as I did. I had a follow up scan a few weeks later and it had resolved on its own.

  • @mrs_massie Oh wow I didn't even know that was possible, thank you so much for sharing that! I go back in 4 weeks for another U/S so FX I will likewise get good news.

  • @it_is_a_baby I currently have complete placenta previa.  Most (like 90%) of partial previa move up on their own by 28-32weeks as the uterus grows.  Try not to stress girl!
  • I have no input but wow @legallykate what a crazy coincidence! Such a small world. FX for good news at all follow-ups ladies!
  • @disgruntled_pelican @legallykate@sgrn18 thank you all so much for your advice and experiences! I feel so much better after reading your posts. It’ll be a long 8 weeks waiting for the next US, but I’m feeling very hopeful now that it’ll resolve on its own without any complications.

@legallykate @sgrn18 did your doctors give you any special instructions other than no intense exercise? Are you/did you do any form of exercise or did you just try to take it easy until the follow up US?
  • @it_is_a_baby I don't think my doctor even told me no strenuous exercise or any other restrictions, they just brought me in for some extra U/S's. I was admittedly not doing a ton of strenuous exercise at the time but I didn't make any changes.

  • @it_is_a_baby I was told pelvic rest but my cervix is also really short so I’m sure it’s that combination for my case.
  • @legallykate @sgrn18 Thank you for the feedback! 😀
