@forevertired@aisukurimsarang I think I'm something like 4-6 weeks ahead, but it is just because I have a large fibroid right at the fundus. So, my OB said I have to do ultrasounds every 4 weeks from now on just to make sure that nugget is growing ok since it is hard to tell based on fundal height.
Speaking of ultrasounds, I had my repeat ultrasound today, and baby girl is 1lb 7oz, 45th percentile, moving a ton, good HR and all the heart views are good with no concerns.
I had my routine monthly check up last week and had to bring my 4 year old since her pre-school was on break. My new OB was so excited to meet her and loved playing/interacting with her which is a really nice change to my old doctor that clearly didn't feel comfortable with children. I was reassured that the hospital where I deliver will not take away baby if I test positive for Covid-19.
Does anyone else know their hospital's birth policies regarding Covid-19? I am interested in knowing how other areas are dealing with it.
@aguamala I got some updated info about my hospital’s covid policies at my appt Wednesday. They are no longer separating mom and baby for a positive test here either, which is a huge relief! I was seriously trying to build myself up to birth at home if that was still the case come April. Lol. Otherwise, everything else seems pretty standard. My husband and I will both be tested and screened as we come in. No visitors. Only one support person will be allowed to stay with me and they aren’t allowed to leave at any time or they can’t come back. This sucks for running out to the car to grab other bags or to go get real food after birth so trying to plan ahead for those little bothers. The baby will not be taken out of the room for any exams or tests, unless it’s an emergency situation of course. Masks are required, however we can take ours off in the room if no one else is in there but during delivery they’re expected to be on. I’m hoping since they’re limiting the number of people allowed in there that this limits students being in there as well but didn’t think to ask at my appt. I think that was the gist of it, at least the important stuff I remember. Lol.
