I don’t really do either, although mine should be to finish unpacking from our move in August!! That and organize the house. Last year I started A Bowl Full of Lemons organization challenge. I made it several weeks before I got behind and quit. I love the idea of it though.
@emmylou78 I just looked up the challenge and it sounds intense! I'm tempted now.
I usually do at least a month of no buying challenge in the beginning of the year to reset from all the holiday spending. Otherwise not a huge new years resolution person...
I have three: 1. Get back into my exercise routine. Before COVID hit last month, I was working out 3-4 times a week. I haven’t worked out in almost a month and I’m FEELING it!
2. Be more present with my kids. I’m a little (a lot) high strung, and it’s hard for me to just play with my kids without feeling anxious to get back to my ever-present “to do” list.
3. Work on my mental health and carve out space for myself each day. I suck at self care.
@hannelorre I’m doing a no spend January! Day 1 ✅.
I’ve been mulling over some intentions. Not necessarily because I’m big into resolutions or anything, I just find I’m contemplative this time or year and I like the feeling of a fresh start. January 12th is the new moon so I might be a big ol cheeseball and write some stuff down then. Breathing and patience are things I really want to focus on—I feel like I’ve been holding my breath since last March.
@pickle-chips I do new moon intentions every month, I love it! I do a lot better with frequent “reset” points where I can mentally recalibrate and get a bit of a fresh start boost, so lunar intentions are a better fit for me than New Year’s resolutions.
I don't really do new year's resolutions. I do always a set goal of how many books I want to read - 36 for 2021. I read 44 last year and usually I want to set a higher goal every year but 2020 gave me more time than usual for reading and with a baby coming in 2021 I think just setting the same goal as I did for 2020 is still good.
I’m not a huge resolution person but I like to set intentions for the year. Last year was so hard but as I look back on it I’m really proud of how my husband and I managed and supported each other. My goal is to take that resilience and grit into 2021.
I also wanted to cut down on alcohol intake but LO has that covered. 🤣

Best way so far, smoothies!
I just add spinach, kale, frozen berries, pineapple and mango with some OJ. I usually make enough for the week to have with breakfast.
