I have a new calendar for my next egg retrieval which has me scheduled for the second week of December. I've ordered the Gonal-F, Ovidrel, Hcg and my BCPs. Not looking forward to the inevitable weight gain (again) but keep telling myself it's only temporary. This is the last round of IVF before I think I need to consider donor embryo. My age is such a barrier that no amount of hormonal manipulation will help. I produce a good number of eggs and even have success getting to embryos but the quality of the embryos are likely anueploidy. So onward and upward!
@greateggspectations - Good luck with your 3rd ER. I hope the third time is a charm for you. I had 4 ERs myself (when I was 43 and 44) and out of the many mature eggs during those rounds, I only got one normal embryo. I was so disappointed but I transferred that embryo in early Oct and the little guy is still growing in there. It really only takes one. I wish you the best luck!
I had my ER on Monday and they were able to retrieve 7 eggs. I got a call today and they reported all 7 are embryos and growing. I have an appointment to put 1-2 back on this Saturday. I hope this one takes as this has been a marathio and I am so fatigued.
@greateggspectations - 7 growing embies is great! Hope you have some good ones to transfer on Sat and a few extra to freeze!

Out of 7 embryos 3 were strong blasts on 12/12, the remaining 4 are being left to culture to see if they become viable. We put the 3 blasts back inside me and my beta is tomorrow morning. I had some spotting on Monday and I suspect it was implnatation bleeding because now my EPTs are coming back very strong and positive. I am praying very, very hard this one sticks.
Update, I went for my Beta today and nervously waited for the callback. The nurse was like, "Greateggs, you're really pregnant. Your beta is 1280." That was followed by a loud gulping sound on my end. I go for repeat beta on Monday and see whats-what.
Had my ultrasound (My REI uses a crappy machine, very grainy) and we saw three sacs, two with heartbeats and the third is empty. I was initially relieved as triplets would be extremely high risk. However my doc said because it's so early the third could still take. I made an appointment on the 21st with a MFM to get a better scan and to set up future OBGYN care.
Quite a scare today, I was at work and suddenly soaked through my work pants with blood. I work in healthcare so I swung by the ER and the doc did a quick scan. There were 2 heartbeats blinking like crazy and we only found remnants of a collapsed sac for the third one. Later I passed a fair sized clot and then the bleeding rapidly tapered off and now I am feeling tired and weak but okay.
So last appointment with REI today so they could release me to my OBGYN. Two hearts beating (160s and 180s) and the third sac stopped growing at 5 weeks and is being reabsorbed. I guess I need to move to the multiples/first trimester board now. I will always be checking in here on everyone's journey. Keep hope, my sisters, as long as you fight then there is hope.

Dukie001, the beta was done 9dpt with 5 day blasts. We transferred 3 as my age indicates very low likelihood of even one taking.
