I had mine drawn on Wednesday and they said 7-10 days. They called me today with the results! My best friend is the gender keeper and hopefully I find out soon I'm going to bust 🤣 might be tomorrow night be SATURDAY
@angelz429 My office uses Myriad and my results came back in exactly 7 days.

@ruemcclanahan oh I didn't realize you were having another test. Glad it came back so quickly!! I'm totally guessing girl for you just because that's what I thought you were having already!
We cant decide if we want to know or be team Green! We found out for our other two, but my husband has always wanted for it to be surprise. When we initially decided to have 1 more baby we said we werent going to find out, but then when we found out it was twins, we said we should probably know to be more prepared. Now that we're back to just one baby, we cant decide if we still want to know or not. I already have two boys, so I'm a little scared about gender disappointment, as we know this will be our last baby.
I got my Myriad results back today (8 business days) and we're having a low risk....
I'm honestly SO thrilled and honestly couldn't be happier that she's healthy. I have a LO with genetic complications so we were really worried. We're still getting further genetic testing done in the second tri (more blood screenings) to be sure we're not missing anything we can screen for, but for now I can breathe!
So happy for you @ashaislurking! Out of curiosity, what additional testing are you getting in the second tri? I passed on a CVS or amnio right now, unless there are flags in either the anatomy scan or spina bifida test, but we're going to revisit testing later in case I change my mind. Part of me wants to do the test to be as sure as I can be, but I also really don't want to do a CVS (slight risk of miscarriage, but very unpleasant).
Found out we are having a girl. Disappointed, and trying to figure out how to process that emotion. I feel guilty for feeling this way. Anyone else dealt with this before or currently and have any recommendations on how to deal?
@kfc1983 I feel the exact same way as you do and felt guilty too. Mine is opposite and I found out im having a boy and really wanted a girl so badly and have been struggling with those emotions myself. Im talking to my therapist about it to try and work through those emotions and feelings as best I can. I was told to let it all out and don't feel bad about feeling that way and its all part of the process. Your feelings are normal and your not alone.
Poll Question: For those moms who have found out the gender of the baby, did you have dreams of the baby’s gender beforehand and did it end up being correct??
I finally got my NIPT results (all good news!) back and my friend is putting together a little gender reveal package for my husband and I to open up on Saturday. I’m so excited to see if my dreams may have predicted the gender! I’ve been having crazy dreams every night, and many of them involved having a baby girl. Last night my baby girl was born potty trained, talking, and was a fan of bagels and tacos, so naturally I like her already haha.
Has anyone that’s received their results yet used MaterniT21? That’s who mine is with & I’m just curious how long it took to get it back. Last time I did the Panorama and it took exactly one week.
TTC #1 Since April 2014
Me: 27 | DH: 31
08/2006 - Laparoscopy/Stage 1 Endo
10/2014 - Bloodwork normal, HSG all clear
10/2014 - DH's SA 15mil/mL, 35% motility, 6% morphology
@ashleyjillian15 I had one vivid dream that we were having a boy, and the NIPT says he’s a boy. I’ll actually believe it when I see it at my 20w u/s. With my girls, I never had gender dreams.
@ashleyjillian15 Not so much this time, but for my first pregnancy whenever I pictured the baby it was a boy, and for my second pregnancy I kept seeing a girl in my head. No real reason for either, I truly didn't have a preference. That said, I was wrong on both counts.
@hollyk224 I used MaterniT21 Plus and I got it in 10 days (my doctor got it within a week, but it took a few more days for it to be pushed to me)
@ashleyjillian15 I kept having very vivid dreams i was having a girl and was even seeing me push her in a stroller etc and I was told im having a boy so I was wrong too
@akoros If I remember correctly the second tri screening is one they do through the Mayo Clinic but I'm COMPLETELY blanking on what specifically they screen for. I'll be sure to ask next time I'm at my ObGyn's office. @ashleyjillian15 MH had dreams that this LO was a girl but I didn't have any dreams one way or the other.
@ashleyjillian15 I've heard if you dream of one sex it's opposite what you're carrying, but I think that's an old wives tale.
I have a friend who is predicting girl for us, which means it's a boy 😆 she's got an 8 year streak of being wrong, something like 15-20 wrong guesses on a row. She's guessed girl for our two boys as well.
I was convinced my first was a boy and then had a very vivid dream around 10 weeks that she was born and was a girl and that turned out to be true when we got the NIPT results shortly after.

Would it be crazy or rude to call the doctors office and ask if they have the results back yet ? They said they have been getting them back within a week and yesterday was a week 🤦♀️ I’m so impatient we leave for vacation to see my family tomorrow and we want to know before we go so we can surprise them.
