R/R: Gotta love a pee stick first thing in the morning. Wouldn’t it be nice if people could read? I have to work late today which is unfortunate. Trying to think positively about something, I may have finished my Christmas shopping yesterday! At least I have finished everything I have thought of so far. Now on to wrapping and finishing my cards!

R/R: Still waiting on O. OPKs remain very stubbornly negative. But on the good news front, my ukuleles finally arrived!! If you are a recent addition to TTGP, the back story on the ukuleles is that I applied for a grant back in March to start a ukulele program in my school district. I found out at the end of September that I was awarded the grant and have been excitedly waiting for them to arrive, which happened yesterday!! My students are so excited! Now I get the fun job of tuning 30 ukuleles 🤣.

R/R: I got a massive new monitor for my home desk yesterday. Same as what DH got earlier in the pandemic but it was $100 for black friday. So that became my Christmas gift. And since he got me something so darn expensive (since the last few years have generally been not much between us for gifts) I ended up deciding to buy him a bunch of Copic Sketch markers since he likes to draw. He's getting almost 20 shades of gray

CS/Q: OPK was the same as it was 2 days ago so I'm definitely safe to start OPKs in the future on CD12 instead of CD10. We'll see what CD14 shows to know if I really could start on that day.

@fitzfizz nice job being done Christmas shopping! I've only bought for DH

@gingermama29 yay ukuleles!! That's going to be so fun! The playing/teaching part, not the tuning part lol

@fitzfizz Those pee stick posts put me in such a bad mood. Like clearly you didn’t lurk for one second to see that this isn’t that kind of forum. Way to go on the Christmas shopping! We only have my FIL done so far.

@gingermama29 oh my gosh I don’t know what’s worse, thinking about tuning 30 ukuleles or thinking about listening to 30 ukuleles that haven’t been tuned😂

R/R: My OPK yesterday afternoon was very negative and this morning it was positive. My surge comes on so fast. We had sex last night so typically we would switch from EOD to ED tonight, but I might keep with straight EOD or ideally have sex tomorrow AM. Just for something different to let things build up? The method we are using now clearly isn’t doing the trick so it can’t hurt. I think I’m going to take a short day today and take off tomorrow. The client I’m supposed to be at decided they didn’t want us to come but haven’t scanned the files to us yet so I figure I should take advantage!

@inthewoods23 a huge monitor sounds awesome! I definitely need to work on my home office setup if I’m going to be here all through tax season. Do you just have 1 monitor or multiple? Have fun with the hanky panky 😉

@bows22 haha I always worry about that too missing people since I sat there deciding what to write up for the longest time. I have my laptop screen and this large monitor. It's resolution is huge (3100x1900 or something) so I can actually snap 4 different windows to each corner. Also, by massive I do mean physically massive too. It's 32"!

@bows22 yeah tuning them hasn't been a treat but my students won't start with them until after winter break so hopefully the strings will have stretched adequately by then and they won't need constant adjustment. We're currently bucket drumming which has been really fun. Enjoy your short day today and day off tomorrow!!

@inthewoods23 super jealous of your monitor. At work I had two massive ones but now I'm working from home and they gave me an ancient laptop with a 15" screen.

@fitzfizz your Christmas prep prowess is highly impressive. I especially like the "I got everything I thought of so far..." I imagine you're doing handmade cards? If so, you'll have to share them in the Crafting channel!

WAYDTGKU: Combo IUI; vits/supps; blood tests

R/R: IUI is here! I took 1/2 day off since we have to drop off DH's semen at 1pm, but IUI isn't until 2pm. MH was feeling super amorous last night but unfortunately we couldn't do anything!!! 😭I promised him tonight.

Lots of really exciting things happening at work right now... we have a major PR campaign that launched yesterday, as we're doing a big reveal on Dec 14, so work is going REALLY well. My friend has been encouraging me to apply for Google as they pay for all IVF treatments, and even though it's tempting, I love my job so much right now, that the idea of even updating my resume is really off-putting. Other than my very first job out of college, in which I stayed for 4 years, this is the most excited that I've ever been about work.
