I thought it would be fun to see how everyone is announcing(if announcing). And if anyone is stuck and needs a couple ideas on how to announce or wants any kind of feedback on their ideas.

We just told people. I’m so sick that it was hard to hide it from family.

Right now I’m debating whether or not to say something in our Christmas card or just not say anything until the baby is here 😳. We’ve done these really cute social media announcements right before I gave birth. They are basically a picture of us in the kitchen and it says, “adding another cook to our kitchen”. We did the same for our second and I’d love to do a third one but a weird part of me wants to just be like “oh my, look! We had a baby!”

@Omie_Wise I'm in the same boat! Part of me wants to do a cute Christmas announcement, and another part just wants to see how long I can go having a secret child haha the pandemic has made it a lot easier for us to hide it.
If we do a Christmas announcement, it may just be something subtle like showing our tree and Christmas set up, and having 2 big stockings and a little one...see who has a sharp eye and notices it first lol I'm still brainstorming!

I probably won’t announce for a while. DD was a may baby and I put a social media post up on st. Paddy day. We might tell our families next week after I hear the NIPT results.

I love all of the announcements! We actually are with some others contemplating to just not tell people until after the baby comes. This pandemic makes it a lot easier to do that and I have always thought it would be kind of fun to just keep it a secret until the end.

We told my parents last week and will tell MH's parents next week. I'll tell my boss in January. Other than that I kinda want to Kylie Jenner this bitch and just show up with a baby in June 😂

We’ve just told our close circle. I bought a felt board that I put together today. Will finish the announcement tomorrow. It says:
”we see you 2020...

baby Schultz due June 2021”
im going to add in the US pic. I’ll post final product tomorrow.

I wanted to wait til NIPT results, but 🤷🏻‍♀️

I love seeing everyone’s announcements!

We did our last 2 announcements using hockey jerseys. DH wants to do the same thing again. I too have half a mind just to leave it.

Our parents know and 2 of our closest friends.

I’m also debating signing our Christmas card with the 4 of us and including baby.

DD is having her 2nd birthday party here Sunday and I’m starting to show so I guess a couple of our friends will find out then as well.

Long story short... nothing exciting.

We did our announcement this weekend. We just did a quick phone photo in our front yard. I love that I didn’t have to do my makeup or hair for it. We did a converse announcement for our first too. So it is something people know us by.

We told my parents last week. My husband made a round of cocktails for everyone but me, and my mom just said, "not having one?". She was apparently watching me, so when I just said, "no, I can't" she picked up on it right away. They both cried, which is nice, as they're much more outwardly excited than we are. We'll probably tell my husband's parents after the 12-week appointment (maybe Christmas), and not sure when we'll tell everyone else. I have a very close friend who's 2 weeks behind me with her first pregnancy who I want to tell, probably in a few weeks since she's asking me a lot of pregnancy-related questions and I think feels badly doing so even though I told her I'm ok with it. I also need to tell my boss, probably after 20 weeks or so given my history, but maybe sooner. That might be when we start to tell others, or maybe we'll just randomly show up with a baby once the pandemic is over.

All these announcements are making me tear up. They are so nice!

I told me immediate family. I have been/am too sick to really hide it. My boss knows too. He could tell pretty much right away, but I told him officially a couple of days ago.

I can't decide if I want to do a Christmas social media annoucement, or wait until we find out the sex in February.

We took pictures and announced on thanksgiving because my parents knew already and were going crazy trying to keep it a secret from the rest of the family but it’s easy for us because my family lives 18 hours away!

We're telling our parents on Christmas morning during present opening w/ a wrapped photo of DS holding the ultrasound in a Big Brother shirt. It's already hard to hide now....I'm not sure how I'll be able to hide it until Christmas morning (when I'll be 14w) - at least from my parents who live locally.

@brilea9 those pictures are so cute! I had a total dejavu moment because the background looks exactly like this state park in Wyalusing Wisconsin we camp at (where my sweet, stupid lab jumped a rock wall like that because he saw water on the other side... albeit 50+ feet down haha)

Everyone’s announcement ideas are so cute! We have been telling our friends and family individually as the weeks have gone on and we suck at keeping secrets, but I think we will wait and do a bigger announcement till we get closer to the due date, although Christmas is a tempting time to announce on social media!

We are in the only telling close friends. Our parents knew and the rest of our families found out on Thanksgiving during the family phone calls. We plan to keep it off social media, not sure why exactly as DH posted about DS at 12 weeks, but we both feel like keeping this one on the down low until he's born. Since DS is 6, I think we feel like a lot of people aren't expecting it as much. Our first public social media announcement will probably be from the hospital which will be kinds fun.

You are all convincing me that telling people from the hospital will be the most fun. We have only told three close friends and have no plans of telling anyone else for a long time. We are still scarred from the MC so are cautious who we are telling this time. We have thought about doing an announcement to our families after the anatomy scan but might not.

I honestly don't know how much longer I can hide it. My belly is getting big fast this time around. I announced to my immediate family on our group chat with a picture of our daughters each holding a pumpkin and then a third pumpkin on the swing next to them. We posted it with no comments, and let people figure it out. My oldest sister was the first one to catch on. That was a lot of fun!
My social media post is going to be the two girls sitting on the hearth with 5 stockings hung from the mantle. A letterboard beside them will say something simple like "Baby #3."

We won't be making a big announcement this time around. With DS we took a cute photo on Mother's Day with a message about how special it was that year and posted it on social media. This year once NIPT comes back I plan to take a photo of DS in a Big Brother t-shirt holding an It's a boy/ girl balloon and I'll send that to my closest friends and some family members. We told our immediate family over Thanksgiving.

Idk what we're going to do. I don't see anyone IRL and I'm mostly wearing sweatshirts and my big jacket if I bump into anyone at the grocery store. We announced at the end of 2nd tri with both our boys so we'll probably do that again. I'd love to do the hospital announcement but I feel like since we announced with the other two, we should with this one too.

I finally get to announce this pregancy to family and friends over Christmas. So excited! We won't be announcing just yet on social media(FB) not untill after 20 weeks and and the anatomy scan is good. For Christmas, I had this made up and will be wrapping it up in a box and giving it to my in-laws for their present. They will be unwrapping it on zoom in front of the whole family. Cant wait to see there faces 🥰

@mindyb2019 So cute! My mom's birthday was just after the first ultrasound for my first pregnancy, so I sent her a "happy birthday, grandma" card with her gift. They loved it
