Why must the nausea and vomiting just keep hanging around? Also, constipation. Great practice for delivery since “you use the same muscles as when trying to poop” according to every birthing class.
@klj0228 I was really hoping this week would be a turning point for me for nausea and vomiting. If anything it has been a turning point for the worst not improving. Blah. I am tired of being sick.
Oy, I had milk today for the first time in 10+ years. My insides feel like they are going to explode from within. Other than that catastrophe, I'm starting to have a bit of energy back. Still can't eat much.
@mindyb2019 I definitely pee way more at night than I ever did. 2-3 times is now standard.
@mindyb2019 thankfully the constant night peeing hasn’t started for me yet but I pee a lot during the day.
My nausea/gagging/vomiting continues. It is so bad most of the day but then I get a little relief from 4ish-8ish. I have been super constipated. I am so tired at night and fall asleep pretty much as soon as I lay down.
I’m doing much better nausea/v-ing wise the past few days. I’ve actually eaten some real food, but we’ve gotten take out quite a bit because my brain/stomach suddenly decide on *one* thing that sounds delicious and the sound of anything else makes me absolutely gag. I’m hoping these few days are going to a turn towards normal and not just a fluke!

Was feeling better. At my appointment on Monday, my doctor said to going off the unisom over the weekend since at almost 13 weeks, the placenta should have taken over. That was an epic fail. I've felt nauseous all weekend. I have to go into the office tomorrow, so I think I'll take one tonight. So I can get through tomorrow. Maybe I'll try again in a day or two.
I didn't go so late with the nausea last time with DS. But I also didn't take unisom and B6. I'm hoping since I wasn't as sick as last time, maybe my comparison point of little to no nausea last week makes a regular nausea seen bad.
I'm so sorry so many are still feeling sick. I hope everyone starts feeling better soon!

@disgruntled_pelican I’m glad you’ve had a good few days! Even if it comes back it is so nice to be able to feel semi normal and eat normal food for a few days. Give your body some much needed energy.
@DoubleUp8 sorry getting off the unisom didn’t work. I hope you can get off soon and the nausea be gone.
@DoubleUp8 - With both my previous pregnancy, I never went off the Unisom. My nausea always returned in the 3rd trimester anyways, and it helped with insomnia. Win win.
I’m with everyone on the nausea train. Trying to eat small portions of something but nothing sounds good. Hopefully it all ends for everyone sometime soon.
Is anyone else's stomach just feeling kind of sore? I'm guessing its from the uterus stretching? (I'm at 12+1 today). It the area that pretty much directly under my belly button, its uncomfortable.
I've also been feeling more nauseas the last few days than I have the whole time so far, not sure what's causing it but my sense of smell also seems to have gone into overdrive so I'm sure its related.
im relieved to see so many others still struggling with nausea. Not that I want anyone to feel this way, but I was starting to feel like I should be feeling normal again.
@dogmom5 i think my husband is starting to resent me. He's working full time from home and picking up all the slack with my 5 year old, 2 year old, 4 month old puppy and household stuff. How is everyone else dealing with the nausea and other responsibilities like other kids? Do you guys just lay down in one spot and try not to move like me or do you push through it?
@ellieemc26 My stomach was feeling a bit sore last week, especially when I was sleeping! It felt like the soreness was spreading to my hips too. It's gotten better since then.
@mrs_massie I've been trying to push through it, but I do take a couple of blocks of time through the day to just hang out in one spot. I feel like when I'm more tired I feel more naseous- it's probably in my head though. Weekdays aren't so bad bc I'm also working from home and spend the morning sitting on the computer in one spot. Weekends I need a 20 minute lay down around 10/1030. I also need a 20-30 minute nap every evening to get through bedtime stuff. My kids are a bit older (3.5 and 7) so that helps, but we're mostly all home still. This is the first pregnancy I haven't had insomnia bc I'm so damn tired at night.
@mrs_massie I try to push thru it but if I’m not feeling it, I just sit in a spot and I try not to move. My husband has been amazing thru all of this thankfully. I feel bad being so lazy sometimes but when I’m feeling so sick and so tired, there isn’t much that I can do. @_orchid_ Youre lucky to not have insomnia. I am feeling the insomnia like my last 3 pregnancies. Usually around 3 am, I am up and wide awake and I can’t get back to sleep but then I need a nap later in the day.
@dogmom5 I know, I'm hoping I didn't jinx it! This is pregnancy #6 (hopefully 3rd LO) and in my other 5, insomnia's always been one of my first/most prevalent symptoms. This time I'm zonked LOL
@mc0303 haven't had the wild dreams like my previous pregnancy. But the insomnia is definitely there. I've been stressed about various things which wake me up about 1 am then I can't sleep until 5:30/6. Oof.
@mrs_massie I have good days when I take a zofran, so I try to cram as much into those days as I can. Other days I get out of bed to go to the couch and pretty much don’t move.
@mc0303 Yes the dreams have been unreal and so confusing! I wake up wondering what just happened.
@mrs_massie unfortunately DD who never watched TV before I got pregnant now spends lots of time watching Mickey Mouse Clubhouse on my sickest days. On those days she stacks and unstacks her toys on top of me and plays like she is putting me to bed. I also encourage her to cook for me in her play kitchen. Some days there is not much you can do and that is okay!
@ellieemc26 My abdomen is also sore. Muscles mostly just feel stretched and fatigued, particularly when I stretch or twist. The exact place changes by day, but a few days ago I had it in my belly button (right now it's just intermittent on the very low sides). Not as bad as last week, though, I must have had a growth spurt day.
@wendy838 😂 proud member of the IBTC here. They don't look any bigger but I guess they're getting there bc they literally feel like they're on fire / anything touching them hurts lol.
@wendy838@_orchid_ I was just thinking this morning that all of a sudden after a couple of weeks of relief, my boobs hurt again. Mine are a little bigger and I can feel them on the side more than normal so I feel like I'm wearing someone else's boobs.

@laurad75 I nursed DS2 in public all the time, covered/uncovered, and would always say I didn't care if people saw bc those were my working boobs, not my pretty boobs 😂
I’m so sick today. I forgot to take my diclectin last night because I was so tired I fell asleep early. DS woke up at 130 to poop and it was almost 5 before I finally fell back to sleep thanks to some fun irrational anxiety I couldn’t control.
Now today I’ve been in bed basically all day and can’t eat and keep throwing up. No idea if it was because of the lack of sleep or missed dose of diclectin or a stomach bug.
