@kam174 - sorry to hear. There’s still hope with other embryos but it’s not easy having a loss!
I’m now CD34 when I usually get my period CD28-30. I may still be a bit thrown off from the MC in Sept but it’s annoying. Our Covid cases are going up abs threatening lockdown again, right when I should be starting. I had some spotting today so hopefully tomorrow I have full flow and have a chance of sneaking an ER in!
Me: 37 DH: 37 - Married 10.2015 ❤️ Canadian DX: Endometriosis - Stage 4, DOR, RPL
@JWatt5 hopefully your cycle cooperates with you and you can get you ER scheduled. I don’t think clinics would suspend procedures this time around, as they are better prepared. But again, who knows. Are you planning for Dec ER?
@JWatt5 -delurking- I have a similar anxiety (covid) over my ER in Jan. I guess we'll see what happens. My RE is optimistic that things will be better handled now and elective procedures won't need to be cancelled or delayed like last surge.

Not so good news. Is was expecting to get my PGT results at my 12/3 consult, but Dr. called this evening. Four of my 5 embryos were abnormal, 1 was inconclusive so will be retested on 25th. I was NOT expecting this phone call (Friday evening at 5pm no less). I was sort of prepared for mixed or negative results, but I just thought I wouldn’t know until another couple weeks.
We will go ahead and re-test the 5th but the other 4 are done (Two were complex abnormal, 1 had a missing 8 chromosome, 1 had missing 11 chromosome). Definitely bummed ☹️

emilynoel810 When I was conceiving my daughter I read some studies that said abstaining from alcohol for a few weeks beforehand will help - I did so on was finally successful. DD is 4 now. Not sure that was why but definitely think it's a good idea.

Hi Ladies, Just read through all of your posts. @emilynoel810 so sorry about the BFN. I am mom to 4 yo DD and doing reciprocal IVF with my wife who had breast cancer and therefore can't carry. Did IUI with DD. The transfer (my wife's egg, same sperm donor as DD) was on Wed. I took a test before the transfer to make sure my trigger shot wouldn't give me a false positive and it was negative so good news is that I can test before the blood test. I tried this morning but I woke up with the spins and peed all of the stick and ruined the test, lol. I'll try again tomorrow, it was probably too early anyway. I'm hoping the spins/dizziness are a good sign! Blood test is still 6 days away. Sticky baby dust to everyone here!

Doctor called yesterday and officially this round was a negative. I have to say, I feel such a sense of relief and freedom. Not relief that it was negative of course - but that those 2 weeks of stressing and Googling, and over analyzing every single symptom and texting friends what they thought - was over. I think going into my next round my head will be clearer, because absolutely nothing I did, or learned, or could know during that 2ww made any difference in the end. Just wanted to share for anyone going through their first 2ww. Hope you can learn from me and try not to stress yourself out completely - because it’s truly out of your hands 💕
@dukie001 - it has a lot to do with the hospitals as to of the clinic gets closed. Ontario (Canada) just imposed full lock down on Toronto, I live just outside and luckily my is outside as well.
@kam174 - glad you can see it that way & move on to the next step. Best way to look at it.
First shot down! 💉 Yikes, Menopur stings lol. I’ve got all my supplies organized, my follicle count was awesome. Feb 2020 IUI I had 1/7 & today I had 10/10. I’ve never had 10 follicles on a baseline on my right side.
Feeling a bit more positive about this, so happy to finally be doing this & to have my last CD3 count done!
Me: 37 DH: 37 - Married 10.2015 ❤️ Canadian DX: Endometriosis - Stage 4, DOR, RPL
@claireloSC congrats on your BFP! That’s so exciting!
@JWatt5 10 follicles is great! You’ll be a pro at the shots by the end of this I swear lol
AFM - I’m starting round 2 tomorrow. Doctor has agreed that we will put in 2 embryos this time, I’ll be doing the progesterone injections instead of the suppositories because the injections really raised my levels the best last round. She also mentioned adding in steroids and antibiotics around the time of transfer. The progesterone injections are not fun 😐 But I think I have it down to a science - ice beforehand and heat afterwards. And no more pads / diapers like with the endometrin 😆 so that’s a positive. I may also try some bed rest this time around after the transfer, just for peace of mind and to do the opposite of what I did last time. Thinking my FET won’t be until December so I will head over to that thread when the time comes. Wishing you all good luck and baby dust! 💕
Thank you! @kam174 Interesting you ice, we only do heat! Heat the needle/oil in a heating pad, massage through heating pad for about 2 min, then leave on rice pad (basically big cloth bag of rice you heat up in microwave, so it's moist heat) for about 8 minutes. It's really not bad. I did make the mistake of injecting in my leg first week which was the worst, I literally couldn't walk for two days. Hope your shots are easy! Good luck!

Beta #2 is in and 384!! I have one more beta tomorrow and will be making my US appointment I still cant believe it. We've always had the ball drop somewhere, it's hard to get out of that mindset.
@ashleyhj29 I think the "waiting for the other shoe to drop" mindset is a lingering problem with IF, especially if you've had losses. We get so used to bad news that good news just seems to be impossible to believe. *TW* I honestly felt that way my entire pregnancy after my first successful transfer and couldn't relax and enjoy things until I had my baby in my arms. Now going into a second ER in Jan unless the world explodes, I'm starting to feel that mindset creep in again -- what can go wrong WILL go wrong in my mind. But this time I can look at my daughter and realize good things -can- and -will- happen for us.

@ashleyhj29 Awesome news The heart usually starts beating between 5-6 weeks so you may be able to see something! But if you can't, don't fret too much over it! Sometimes you can't see anything until 7 weeks.
