This is probably the most I’ve ever researched our travel system choice.
Our kids are all 5 years apart so I’ve had to get new car seats and usually new strollers each time. With our first, we just needed affordable and functional and got Graco. With our second, we tried a different affordable (chicco) and were disappointed. With our third, my husband wanted a sturdy stroller, and I went back to Graco, but got the Graco jogging stroller to go with. I hate that stroller, it’s so heavy and awkward and pinches your fingers easily. Plus it takes up a ton of space, something that I’m now running short on with so many kids. I got some sturdy umbrella strollers (Summer) to use instead of the jogger. It’s ok. I’ve had a few used strollers in between because I’ve been nannying while I raise my kids. My favorite stroller was a Peg Perego. So after looking up safety ratings, measuring the ‘trunk’ of my Highlander, and taking into account that literally all of my seats will be filled with children (I care for 2), I have decided on Peg Perego Booklet 50 travel system. The car seat is one of the safest, lightweight, and has amazing ratings. I know I love the stroller, it’s sturdy enough for soccer games and our rural roads, but narrow for when we go into the city. Plus it is compact enough that it will fit in the back of my Highlander.
If my husband doesn’t like it, he can go get a different system for his truck! 😆 but serious.

But after reading the comments on this thread this afternoon I did a quick check on Facebook marketplace and found a really great deal on a Vista, howbeit a 2011 model, so might switch my Cruz for a Vista. I really wanted the bassinet and hopefully this isn't a splurge I'll regret.
They have 3 types:
- Tune up gear up
- product knowledge (techs are available to demo new products, answer car seat questions, recommend accessories to suit your family’s needs)
- car seat check.
Going to try it out next week, the Vista I got needs a good tune-up. I highly recommend the cart seat check for peace of mind installing your seat, they are experts on the Mesa or other seats they have and it's hard to say if they will still have virtual appointments in March, April or May.
