What did your chart look like? IVF, so no chart
What were you doing TGKU? FET of our one embryo.
How was your timing? What symptoms did you have, if any? (CS & CD breakdowns welcome) FET was on CD 18. I had some weird twinges in my abdomen the first few days after transfer. I planned to wait to test, but on 4dp transfer, I felt lightheaded, nauseated, and had a headache, and was sensitive to smells. So I broke down and took a test late that night. It was very faintly positive, so I took another in the morning, and it looked about the same. I took another one 6dp transfer, and it was a definite positive.
How are you going to/did you tell your partner? I had planned to tell him in a special way, (I had a little onesie in my closet that I bought 18 months ago and was saving to give to him) but he caught me taking the test that night, so we watched it develop together. I started saying "I think I see a line...I see a line....There's a line...Do you see a line?" He couldn't see it at first, but did finally. We both still feel like it isn't real and are having trouble processing. My beta is Monday, so I imagine it will feel more real then.
Anything else to add? Wow. Like so many of my predecessors, I never thought I'd be here writing this post. This community has been so amazing. When people in my life who I *thought* were my support system started making me feel crazy for struggling during IF treatments, you ladies were there for me. I am so humbled by your generosity and true supportiveness. MH has been really touched and grateful anytime I've told him about the kind words I've received on this board. I truly hope that I am setting off another mass exodus around here. I am thinking about you all, especially my IF ladies. I'm sure I'll be lurking for quite some time.
