Gah! So there was mention of super comfy nursing/maternity bras in a random thread and I can’t find it. I just remember a few of you saying how soft and supportive they were. Anyone remember?
i got my motherhood maternity order over the weekend, and not only was everything i ordered cheap and super cute, they also send a little gift bag with a Philips Avent bottle and a million gift cards/coupons!!
Anyone have any recommendations for maternity dress pants? I think a lot of you are WFH right now, but I'm still in the office and need to wear business casual clothes I have two pairs from motherhood from my last pregnancy and they are great, but everything online is out of my size and I can't even find anything that looks good on Amazon. I like the full panel pants as opposed to the side panels.
Random places I've found good maternity clothes: Kohls- found super cute maternity jeans that look just like the usual skinny jeans I wear and are comfortable Costco - so Costco doesn't have a maternity section per say, but mine had a ton of cute ankle-length and full-length work pants with stretch waistbands. I bought a cute pair for $10. Old Navy also has a ton of comfy/stretchy PJs and loungewear!
For my pregnancy pillow, I chose the PharMeDoc pillow in their "cooling material" finish and I love it! It was around $40 and has significantly improved my sleep.
i'm feeling like i'm due for new bras that are more comfy and now starting to look. how am i supposed to know how big to go? i am an A cup now and while starting to fill it out a bit more im unsure how to know how big to go?
@asf0613 I've been in the same boat but haven't had any luck with the ones I've tried so far (besides sports bras)...so I'm just going to measure myself and get the type of underwire bras I'm used to wearing now. Links below on how to measure yourself.
I got a snoogle pillow and I wish I liked it more. It’s not bad, but not what I was expecting. It’s thinner than I thought it’d be. It’s kind of hard, and I wish the leg part was bigger, and that there wasn’t a head part- I just want to use my regular pillow for my head. So I’ve been surrounding myself with pillows like the good old days.
I like to buy from small business when possible. So I recently bought this wireless cross back bra and it’s so comfy, I thought I’d share. It’s stretchy so I think it’ll last through pregnancy and she also makes nursing bras. I think I’ll eventually buy one. Her website is https://swbck.com/ . It’s supportive enough without being uncomfortable which is wonderful for my sore boobs

My boob size hasn't changed a bit yet this pregnancy! I'm a solid B and was hoping to get at least a little fuller...🙄😂 maybe by the end of 2nd tri...lol.
Reposting my bump pic here because I love the BeyondYoga Maternity line! I’ve been buying their space dye leggings (in my opinion it’s the only fabric you should ever buy from them or for leggings in general lol). These crop top bralettes aren’t maternity but just match my other BY sets, but I LOVE them for bras under shirts too. They have a little built in shelf bra and they are just super comfy. I am a size 36D and they work well for me (but I wouldn’t do high impact workouts in them... just for lounging).
The leggings are pricey but so worth it in my opinion. I’ll just fold the belly part down and use them post pregnancy too. They are super soft, durable and supportive. Super good quality too! I basically lived in their space dye leggings when I wasn’t pregnant and with lots of washing and wear I still haven’t had a tear or any worn out areas.
Just splurged on a Bravado nursing bra from Nordstrom’s, it should be here in a few days. I’m hoping it is insanely comfortable and I can order more. It’s really nice to be able to get whatever I want. I just keep thinking back to when we had our first child 14 years ago and how we had to be so careful about what we spent. I appreciate being a little older and financially stable this time!
Really loving the Jill & Joey wedge pillow I got on Amazon last week. Just need it for between my knees. I now have a ton of regular pillows so I will start to build a fort when the back pain sets in.
I had a cute black coat that worked with pregnancies, but my teenager borrowed it and it disappeared. Go figure. So I have been eyeing those long poofy coats (great description, I know), and found one that works for pregnancy, baby wearing, and then goes to normal people size as well! It took my two months, but I finally ordered it. Check it out!
@texas_t yah it sure was different being in San Diego with my first! It was funny to see people wearing real coats like that when it was 60 out! Lol! Up here in the Seattle area, coats are definitely needed! Especially considering we had insane record breaking amounts of snow the last two winters. We don’t even normally get snow accumulation.
@yellingbanana If we get snow here, it's newsworthy. LOL. it's been about 2-3 years since we've seen snow and about 8 years before that was the last snow.

I just saw this ad and wanted to share, the comment section was all great reviews and it looks so handy! So you don’t have to be stuck in the huge weird hospital mesh undies... and it has a slot for ice pack/heating pad and a wide gusset for the hospital pad 🙌🏻🙌🏻
@brynn_mamaof4 looping back to share that those Spanx faux leather leggings are breathable, but I wore them on a day when it was in the 30-40s so can't speak to how they'll feel in warm weather.
Also, I ordered some of the Beyond Yoga stuff you recommended and they felt great when I tried them on. Will work out in them tomorrow. I noticed the purple leggings I got are more of a velvety texture and the grey is smoother and closer to regular yoga pant texture but I love them both. And the tops have such great support - shelf bras never work for me as a DD but these feel really good without a bra!!
@ec1212 that’s so awesome! Yes the soft velvety ones are the “space dye” fabric, it’s the only kind of fabric I’ll buy. I love them so much! The shelf bra crop tops are awesome, I’m a DD too and I’ve just been living in them as actual bras this pregnancy. I feel like they still give a nice lift too! And good to know about the faux leather leggings, I think I’ll order some! I’m in Indiana and it’s plenty cold enough haha.
I think it’s time I actually get a pair of maternity jeans/jeggings so I’m not living in sweats of yoga leggings. Any good recommendations? I like over the belly support and a tight fit all the way to the ankle. So a “skinny” jean!
@brynn_mamaof4 I love Indigo Blue skinnies from Motherhood! I actually need to order another pair today because the crotch in mine are about to wear out (They were my #1 wardrobe choice last pregnancy and I wore them for months PP and I've been wearing them a lot this time because I like how supportive they feel compared to my other maternity pants/leggings).
@brynn_mamaof4 Motherhood Maternity definitely has good pants. I got some Levi’s from Amazon that I like too, also a fan of over the belly support. But I found about 5 solid pairs of skinny jeans for about $12 each at Ross. They’ve been really great!
The one place I don’t recommend is Target maternity pants.
@brynn_mamaof4 I was actually impressed with Old Navy maternity jeans. I got some that have the full over the belly panel but also have the complete fly/button so you can still wear shorter shirts. And they have short/reg/long lengths. The fabric does attract a lot of lint though. But these are the best I’ve found at a cheap price.
@brynn_mamaof4 I got a pair of Jessica Simpson skinny ones with a full panel from Motherhood a few years ago and I really like them. They don't fall down like the other ones I got do (don't remember which style those are but will try to remember to look later).

In terms of how many times my size will change, the best answer I've gotten from friends and looking online is "a lot." LOL. I found this helpful: https://blog.thirdlove.com/real-talk-how-pregnancy-affects-your-breasts/i actually just bought these (sizing is just XS,S,etc) so i figured probably more forgiving.
ill let you ladies know what i think once i get them!
