I'm still really tired and nauseated... gagging constantly. My overall symptoms have gone from like a 10 to a 7 consistently for the last week. I'm 9.5 weeks, so my anxiety is cranking up before my ultrasound tomorrow.
My overall aches and pains have really increased too. I snap crackle and pop every time I move.
Pregnancy symptoms aren’t too bad - I felt like some of my exhaustion WAS starting to wean (I’m 11w 1d), but then I got hit with Covid last week. ☹️ The headache is super annoying, I have cold symptoms and lost my taste and smell. I’m extremely irritable, but that is likely partially from stress. Ugg. My kids are driving me crazy now that they have to do virtual school for the next 3 weeks. 🤣 and to top it all off, I can’t have wine!! All for good reason - but man, quarantine is not the most fun time yo be pregnant!

Super tired still, and starting to feel some minor pains. Freaking me out a little, but I'm pretty sure it's just my uterus growing and nothing bad (some of them feel like menstrual cramps, but others are definitely more muscle/ligament pains). I vaguely remember getting this before, although it seems early (8 weeks)? Upper back is also killing me, but I think that's unrelated....

Oh no, I hope you're feeling better soon! There is nothing worse than being sick while pregnant...except also having to quarantine!!
Nausea and vomiting still hitting me hard, and I could sleep anywhere, anytime (sitting, standing, doesn't matter lol).
Also I threw on my favorite shift dress this morning and I look pregnant. I know it's only bloat at 8 weeks, but I'm really wishing I had of had time to change this morning. On the plus side, I have gone up a cup size..busting out of those A cups hahaha
@ashaislurking omg!! Girl I hope you feel better soon and get some relief from being stuck with needles constantly!
Afm I’m feeling better. Nauseated in the mornings and late evenings instead of all day so I consider that a win! I’m still super tired and napping on every day that I’m off.
I feel constantly hung over all day everyday. Still having a really hard time falling asleep too, but constantly exhausted. I have an ultrasound tomorrow and I’m in my own head about it. My anxiety is telling me that there won’t be a baby there or that it’s in the Fallopian tube or something. 12:30 can’t come soon enough.
Thanks for the thoughts @klj0228 and @sgrn18 ! I hate that it's to the point of needing a PICC line too but the idea of not getting stabbed all the time honestly seems kind of nice at this point. I hope it's at least some type of relief.
Sorry to hear so many other people here are struggling with the nausea and vomiting too! Hang in there everyone!
Ok, I dont have any specific food aversions cause usually i love all food, but lately the past few meals for the last couple days I've just been meh about. Im starving and so I eat and then when I eat im like ugh gross, im not feeling it at all and don't want to finish eating it and then ill spend the next 20 mins gagging. 😫
Decided to take Tylenol last night to calm my anxiety about the cramping. It's gone this morning, and I'm still pretty sure it's perfectly fine. It helped that I Googled it and saw that the "you last visited this site on X" was when I was last pregnant at about 7 weeks. When I told my husband about it he also said that it sounded familiar, so I think this has happened each time and I just forget.
@mindyb2019 Ugh, that sucks. I had that last time, was starving but literally couldn't think of anything I wanted to eat.
@akoros I’ve had some cramping/discomfort too. It’s hard to explain, more pressure than pain, like a heating pad would probably feel good (which we obviously can’t use). I almost think it is related to constipation.
@mindyb2019 I could be totally wrong/check with your OB but I’m pretty sure you are not supposed to apply heat to your stomach or lower back during pregnancy. Google (again please just take this at face value, I have no solid research on this topic) says that it can increase the temp of the baby which can contribute to birth defects/miscarriage like a fever can. This is just what I heard a while ago and I’m not entirely sure if it is true or not.
@MelissaMay82 Oh weird ok. I googled it before and it says its fine for pregnant women to use a heating pad as long as you don't directly use it on your tummy and that it's on low setting so it doesn't raise your body temp. I'll ask my OB or Dr next time ill talk to them to be sure.
Light at the end of the tunnel? I actually have a little bit of energy during the day, and I am slowly adding my morning cup of coffee back in. Doctor suggested I try not taking the Unisom starting this weekend. I am hoping this means the 1st tri is almost done and there is relief in sight!

@MelissaMay82 A heating pad would feel so good! I'm settling for my cat, who's constantly in my lap and likes to make biscuits on my stomach. It definitely hurts worse when I'm bloated or need to use the bathroom, but for sure more of a muscle/ligament pain (mostly when I twist or roll over) and others that are more like menstrual pressure/cramps. Again, it's they're not really that strong pain-wise, it's more that it freaks me out.
@Omie_Wise Reassuring to know I'm not alone. I do vaguely remember it, but still get scared with any twinge of pain. Today's been fine so far, so I guess it was doing lots of growing yesterday.
@mindyb2019 From what I remember, you don't want your body temp to go above 101 or 102, which is also why hot tubs aren't recommended (researched it because we rented a cabin with a hot tub that I wanted to use, we kept the temp low), as it's associated with neural tube defects. That said, I also found articles saying that it's not a big deal, so check with the doctor.
@angelz429 - that’s the worst. I actually have a spit cup I carry around with me like some kind of tobacco chewing cartoon character. It’s so gross but I can’t let myself swallow any because it triggers a heaving episode. Sorry that you’re dealing with it too!

@DoubleUp8 You give me hope! Yesterday I was like oh maybe it is fading. Today has been horrible, one of the worst days as far as morning sickness. Zofran didn’t even help.

I had the exact same thing yesterday. Tuesday was great so I thought maybe things were starting to look up, then yesterday was awful. It was one of my sickest days so far with the zofran only helping me not vomit. The nausea was still full force.
Stomach is kind of itchy, plus a random dull (mild) pain in my belly button, which is weird. I'm guessing this means there was/is a lot of growing going on as things are stretching
@akoros I’ve been getting mild pain around my belly button too. Thought it was weird it was up so high. Also mild period like cramps but i remember getting those the whole first trimester last time.
I’m currently 8 +5. I’m having a teeny tiny little bit of brown discharge in with the ton of cervical mucus I have right now. But I seem to notice the brown is there more when I’m working and busy all day. When I can be a lazy bum on the weekend it seems to go away. Also the nausea and the Brest soreness comes and goes.
I’ve been pretty quiet about my symptoms because they’ve been really mild. I’ll get the occasional gagging at night and my boobs are sometimes tender. I did notice my nipples have gotten way darker and larger. And my belly seems to have extra hairs on it. Maybe they were there before? they’re definitely noticeable now!
I have been feeling so sick all day every day and then when I went to my appt on Monday she suggested I take a combo of B6 and unisom every night before bed. GAME. CHANGER. I haven't felt even the least.bot nauseous, I can eat, I can concentrate... I'm so relieved!!
I'm STARVING. I get hungry about 30 minutes after I eat, this is crazy. This didn't happen with my other pregnancies, for them I wasn't hungry much and would get full super quickly.
