I’m up extra early today! I don’t think I’ve ever posted first on a weekday! (Now watch me be simul-post with someone else!)

Month/Cycle: 9/9

CD/DPO: 16/3

Timing: -5, -3, -2, O

Typical LP length: 17 days when on progesterone; 9-12 days when not.

Testing: 12DPO (10.18) unless BBT chart is looking different from other cycles

R/R: MH and I both took a day off today so we’re gonna go for a hike. Then tomorrow it’s a friend’s bday and she wants to do a socially distanced beach day and dinner in Santa Cruz.

Also finally got most of MHs urologist follow-up appointments scheduled (had to take matters into my own hands). Just need to schedule the ultrasound. Turns out MH was procrastinating because he didn’t want to deal with the hospital’s phone tree, which is insane! You have press 1 FOUR TIMES followed by one or 2 more digits.🤦🏼‍♀️ Anyway, I have way more patience for that, especially when it’s standing in the way of something.

CS/Q: got CHs today and FF agrees that O was definitely on Tuesday. So nice to see temp keep going up up up! Also having sore boobs still and I haven’t started progesterone suppositories yet. Hopefully that means my body naturally is producing more this cycle.

Testing: Sunday probably. FF predicts AF to arrive tomorrow or Sunday.

R/R: Need to run a couple of errands later on today and maybe do some laundry.

CS/Q: Tiny dip this morning, but I woke up from sleeping with my mouth open.

@acleverusername Your temps look great-- def seems like there is some good natural progesterone in there. I also had some sore/tingly boobs but I NEVER get those, so I'm guessing it's weirdness of AL hormones floating around...

Timing: -2, +1

Typical LP length: 10-12ish?

Testing: Not unless I'm pretty late

R/R: Happy that I'm pretty sure I O'ed, which means I'm out of limbo and back into the fertile side of the equation. Timing was not great, but tbh I'm just looking forward to getting a normal cycle next time.

CS/Q: FF agrees with @acleverusername... O on Tues. Temps all over the place but at least I got CHs

R/R: My H seemed to like his birthday presents! Yay! And I made birthday pancakes. I have a hair appointment this weekend and I’m excited but also feeling hesitant about it. Covid cases here are so bad. Sigh.

CS/Q: Not feeling confident at all with this cycle after this this morning’s temp. I was already not feeling great about this cycle.

@acleverusername Also-- to answer your question from yesterday, I am a low-LH-surger. I realized this when the CBDA didn't go off (to peak) a few times early on, *tw* including months I got pregnant! *end tw* That's why I started adding the cheapies, because you can see the progression and judge for yourself. Maybe I should just ditch the CBDA, but I just love data.

Testing: broke resolve and tested this morning as last night I was miserable and really wanted to take a decongestant (which isn't safe if KU).. BFN. Trying to look on the bright side, now I can take an extra-extra strength decongestant tonight and sleep like a log, and also buy myself a really nice bottle of wine for Thanksgiving.

R/R: Ok so DH came home with an APPLE pie (this gal NEEDS pumpkin pie), a handful of frozen burritos, and 3 potatoes for mashed potatoes.... disgrace!!! LOLOL dunno what the frozen burritos are for, and what kind of mashed potatoes does he think he's going to get out of 3 potatoes?

CS/Q: none, WFAF now

@acleverusername MH doesn't like calling when there's phone tree's like that either. He'll just hang up and try to find a way to send a message. Your chart looks so good! FX for you!
@daisy528 if AF does arrive tomorrow or Sunday, you may have a short LP and might want to keep an on that.

Testing: so I wasn't going to test unless AF is late but I got a call from the RE's office that they had a cancellation and they could get us in for an initial consult on Tuesday, the day AF is due, so I will probably test on Sunday 12 dpo so I can cancel if I need to and not pay $370 for a consult that we don't need. 🤞

R/R: It is a beautiful fall day and I only have one meeting. I got some good cleaning done yesterday but I do want to clean the kitchen today. Again I need to find some kind of motivation to do actual work at some point today as well.

CS/Q: again trying not to read into that dip too much and my temps are generally a mess this cycle so probably means nothing

@acleverusername I'm so glad YH's urologist follow-ups are finally scheduled. I understand being frustrated with the lovely phone tree you need to deal with at many medical offices but if it's necessary it's necessary. Fingers crossed you get some information!
@daisy528 FF is probably predicting AF that early because it's CD 28. My guess is that if she shows it'll be later next week. It can take a few cycles of tracking for FF to recognize your patterns.
@bumblebee0210 While your temps aren't that consistent, I agree that it looks like you've O'ed. Sometimes a fallback rise can happen right around this time (estrogen) and they'll start to go back up and stabalize.
@AKuzReve I'm glad YH had a great birthday! Sorry you're anxious about your hair appointment. I don't blame you in the slightest. I've been doing my hair at home since the start of the pandemic. Definitely not ideal either way.
@canucklehead123 Sorry about your BFN! I hope the decongestant helps you feel better.
@krash_ I -so- hope you don't need that RE consult. My fingers are crossed hard for you!

Testing: Will depend on my progesterone result. Kind of want to test on my anniversary, also REALLY tired of seeing BFNs.
R/R: Weirdly, I got my CD 21 labs on CD 21... this is not normal for me. I don't usually O this early. Anywho I'll probably get my progesterone result back Monday. I'm not feeling too great about it but we'll see. Fingers crossed. Hope for the best but prepare myself in case it's not. I'm attending a virtual counseling conference this weekend so I'm excited about that!

@ashaislurking do they do CD 21 bloodwork for things other than progesterone? I thought if you have a normal LP your progesterone is good. Just curious if they are looking for something in particular or just trying to get all the data.

@krash_ They're doing progesterone labs because after my 80whatever day cycle we did labs (so last cycle) and my progesterone was half of what it should have been. We're re-testing this cycle to see what's up.

For those who asked, I have a fringe/bangs that are nonexistent currently so I need to get it recut. I also haven’t done my balayage since March (pre-pandemic) so I need to get it lifted. I mean I don’t really care because I don’t see people but 🤷🏽‍♀️. I already postponed my appointment from last week to this week.

@daisy528 I agree with @ashaislurking re: FF-predicted AF date; it'll likely be later. And if it does arrive Saturday / Sunday, definitely keep an eye on it as an LP shorter than 10 days should be investigated.

@AKuzReve I totally get the apprehension of going to a salon when COVID is raging all around. But also a haircut would really be nice! Good luck venturing out; stay safe.

@bumblebee0210 Yay DPO buddy! Hopefully your body has adjusted AL. As for your LH surge, I would definitely ditch the CBDA. I would also look into getting semi-quantitative tests, instead of threshold tests. That would give you a more accurate read on what your LH level is.

@canucklehead123 I'm dying at YH's grocery haul 🤣🤣🤣. Pray tell... what was on the list you gave him? LOOOL. Also, way to look on the bright side of things. I would love me a good bottle of wine.

@krash_ yay for a cancellation! So happy you can get in so soon. But really, I'm hoping you don't need it at all. 🤞🏻 FX. Also, re: H's and phone trees... we're currently on hold to book a final appointment (I forgot there was 1 more we needed to book; his u/s) and seriously, this phone tree is ridiculous. Also, a reminder for how outdated the medical system is: "For our fax number, press 1."

@ashaislurking Let's hope your progesterone has straightened itself out; and if not, that your OB has a plan for you. Good luck with the virtual conference this weekend.

Oh, and @krash_ I totally book my fertility related appointments around expected AF date so that if it doesn't come, I don't have to pay the fee. Haha. Currently have a consult booked at a new fertility clinic on Oct 19. 12DPO would be on Oct 18, so I have time to cancel.
