I have been in denial about Izzy growing up and getting bigger. However, one thing I cannot deny is that she will need a new seat very soon.
I'm going to start my research today and hopefully get a seat this weekend. But I wanted to see if any of you had any?recommendations. For now, we are going to use 1 car seat. So I need a seat that is fairly easy to get in and out of a small car (pt cruiser and a chevy aveo aka the death box).
Do any convertibles use a base? If we have to re-install each time - that would be a major pain in the butt. In which case we'd need two seats.?
I want to get the most bang for my buck - times are tight. So the less expensive the better. But I'm not looking to strap her in a laundry basket and call it a car seat either. We just cant swing a Britax. (damn you target!! ?)
Thanks!?
Re: Recommend your convertible seat under $150
Evenflo Titan or the Triumph!
They don't make convertible carseats with bases, so you'd have to install it in and out of your cars each time you moved it.
lol seems like the triumph is the winner so far!
and its a decent price too. we could swing two seats at that price. darn those companies for not making bases!
?
You gotta get the evenflow triumph. It's 150, but use a bru 15% coupon and it's 140 after taxes and what not.
It's the same ratings as the britax and goes up to 50 lbs.
My Blog
