Ages of other child(ren)? 19 months on thursday

Any thoughts about this cycle? Just waiting for AF so we can start trying

Rant/Rave? Rant: I love being a sahm, but sometimes the days just seem the same. Almost like I'm in groundhog day. I don't think it helps that I'm not very social and have no friends where I live. Plus with the pandemic, lots of things are still closed.

@Kenneylynn3 I hear you on SAHM. I work, but during my maternity leave I couldn't stop thinking about how eye-opening it was. Now that my son is getting older and can do more, I think it would be a little better. But when he was an infant I was thinking about how every day was the same and I had no real outside connections/adult contact. Do you have anyone in your neighborhood you might be able to interact with? Pandemic definitely does not help this.

Ages of other child(ren)? Almost 2, 11yo stepson

Any thoughts about this cycle? I was feeling pretty confident but then I took a HPT this morning (11dpo) with not FMU after only a short hold and it was a BFN.

Rant/Rave? Just made at myself for testing in a stupid way today!

Rant/Rave? We had a nice weekend and went to the Children's Museum for the first time since January. They did a really good job of taking precautions. We had to buy tickets in advance for a certain time and they limited the number of people in during that time. They had hand sanitizer every where and required masks. It was actually more enjoyable than the last time we were there because it was basically empty. There were just enough kids that DS had some to play with but not too many that it was overwhelming and not too many adults and the adults that were there seemed to be respecting the precautions.

We had to move DS into his toddler bed because he fell out of his crib on Thursday night and Friday morning. He was trying to get his blankey that he had been throwing out of his crib so we were letting him fuss and figure it out rather than going in to give it back to him but he tried to get it and was leaning over the top rail and flipped right over the top and fell flat on his back. It has been a tough transition that we were not ready for but last night he stayed in his bed so hopefully we are turning a corner.

GTKY: unfortunately I'd have to go with cupcakes. I can't believe I'm saying that.

@Kenneylynn3 sorry you're struggling with being a SAHM. This year has been especially hard in that regard. Are there any play groups that are meeting outside that you guys could add to your schedule once a week or so?

@Kenneylynn3 The pandemic is just messing everything up for all. Being a SAHM must be SO hard right now!

@babyfeverbeliever I can't say I haven't done what you did this morning, so I know the feeling! FX you turn a positive soon!

Any thoughts about this cycle? Just over here WTO. I temped this cycle though, so hopefully it will help let me know approximately when I O.

Rant/Rave? Remote learning is so flipping hard. My son started kindergarten last week remotely, and trying to keep him focused is exhausting. I feel like his own personal assistant trying to juggle all of his Zoom calls. My daughter is home also on his remote days, so keeping her entertained is a challenge. Ugh.

GTKY: Cupcakes all day. Not a frosting fan.

I’ll do my full check in later but wanted to tell @krash_ something - I felt nothing during my HSG. The person said that usually happens if someone has had a previous vaginal birth. Not sure if you had a vaginal or C section but thought I’d pass along. I do think it will hurt if you have a blockage but I don’t think it will be bad if you have clear tubes!

@Kenneylynn3 girl, I was a TERRIBLE SAHM. I love my daughter with everything I have, but momma needs some alone time sometimes!
@babyfeverbeliever you aren’t out until Af shows! 🤞🏼 it’s too early!
@krash_ I hope the transition to the toddler bed is going well! Definitely sounds like he was ready!
@daisy528 remote learning is so difficult! My 4th graders struggled! I can’t imagine 5 year olds!

Any thoughts about this cycle? Annoyed at the delayed O, but not surprised.

Any questions? Does/did anyone follow wonder week leaps with their babes. We are in the thick of leap 10 and it’s HELL!

Rant/Rave? Leap 10, short daycare naps, and canines are killing us here! She is sooooo clingy and exhausting and I’m draining really fast.

GTKY: Ice cream. I’m dairy free right now because of DD, so I can’t have it anyway. And honestly, it’s not even in my top 3 items of dairy products I miss.

@bows22 I did have a vaginal birth the first time and I've had an IUD put in three different times, the last time being after DS was born and I almost felt nothing so FX it's not too bad.

@babyfeverbeliever no I don't know anyone in the neighborhood. We moved in May and I'm not a social butterfly 😅
@krash_ I agree that sounds like it was time. I wanted to move DS to a bed at 2, but starting with naps around 18 months. It hasn't been going well, so we took a break. As far as play groups, none that I'm aware of are happening. I am hoping to get him signed up for tot gymnastics for next month. I even put a post on a FB mom group I'm in about meeting at the park with no takers.
@daisy528 my dw keeps saying things like, you wanted to be a sahm. And I respond with yes, and I'm grateful, but I didn't plan on it being during a pandemic.
On another note, I can't imagine remote learning, and I think all of you who are doing it are amazing!
@chindimples04 leap 10 was rough! It only lasted about 2 or foso weeksr us though, so hope it quick for you too. Someone in my FB bump group mentioned that according to a book she's reading in the 12-24 month year, 18 months is the most difficult age. I do have to ask what top 3 dairy things do you miss the most?

1) cheese. All the cheese!
2) milk. I drank a LOT of milk (WI girl).
3) milk chocolate. EVERY SINGLE CANDY BAR made from chocolate has milk in it and it’s sickening how much I miss snickers and Twix. 🤣

@chindimples04 haha! Mine's cream cheese....not sure what else. You would think I would know after being df for over a year. 😂 I don't miss cheese as much thanks to Chao, but I do miss it on pasta, salad, ect.

.Hey, I just wanted to pop in and give an update really quick- I'm having a sh*t week with TTC, particularly with TFAS because one of my closest friends from my previous BBs got KTFU her second cycle trying and while I want to be supportive I'm also struggling with the potential implications of my low progesterone and still trying to figure out what my body is doing after coming off birth control almost 10 months ago. In our 8/18 group chat on facebook the only thing I'm seeing is pregnancy updates from her (we were due date buddies last time around) and it's been so hard to not be bitter. I'm sending lots of love to all of you, but lurking this thread is hard for me this week.

@ashaislurking I feel this. I have had 3 moms get pregnant in my last BMB, one of which started trying and joined this board at the same time as me. Seeing her updates sting a lot. Happy, but definitely jealous. I understand. ❤️ Take the time you need.

@ashaislurking I totally feel you there. Almost everyone who has been TFAS on my previous BMB group is pregnant (or already had their baby). One of them I was cycle buddies with like exactly same CD/DPO and she had also been TTC for 6 months and she got pregnant that cycle. It stung and it seems like everything she has posted since has had something to do with being KU in it. I have been trying to glance over her updates without actually reading them.
