WAYDTGKU: vitamins, OPKs, BBT, CM, CP

R/R: hoping to get all of my lesson planning done today so I can enjoy Sunday and Monday free of duties. 🤞🏼 that actually happens.

GTKY: What is one thing that everyone else seems to like or love that you don’t care for? Coffee. I really only liked iced coffee, and even then don’t enjoy it often.

WAYDTGKU: Clomid + IUI, PNV and a whole bunch of other vitamins/supplements

R/R: rave -- Day 11 ultrasound to check on how my follicles are developing / have developed is tomorrow. We'll know our IUI date thereafter. Otherwise, I want to get quite a lot done this weekend; little things that have been piling up for a couple of weeks/months. Like mailing back Amazon returns, sending a wedding card for that Zoom wedding we attended in July, etc.

GTKY: What is one thing that everyone else seems to like or love that you don’t care for? I can't really think of anything other and "fads"? I don't really get into any fads. For example, I haven't watched the Netflix shows that "everyone" has watched since the quarantine started (Tiger King, 13 Reasons Why, Selling Sunset, etc.) Instead, MH and I have been meticulously working through seasons of Parks and Rec and The Office.

CS/Q: I don't know if I'm SSing but my ovaries feel a bit engorged. I wouldn't think that Clomid would do that. Has anyone else who's done IUI felt this way?

WAYDTGKU: we just decided to TTGP!!! I took my last pill last Wednesday. I should have gotten my period by now but have not. That’s fine as I am never regular coming off BC BUT I am nervous. So as of right now we are waiting to start a regular cycle!!! We’re doing it as much as we want lol no pressure! I have ovulation tests coming and we will have a better understanding soon of when I’m ovulating and if we’re facing any challenges ❤️❤️

R/R: I'm still here (honestly, thankfully as you can see by my chart). I have been 4 hours away from MH all week so I'm very happy I haven't ovulated yet. This past week I had residency so I was absent and I just lurked all the stuff I missed. I had a lot to process this week, I cried a lot, and now I'm just really drained.
GTKY: I don't like texting! I would rather call and have a phone conversation with people.

Done! I was having phone issues... This is a much more computer friendly site! I do not FEEL like a newbie! I was here 10 years ago when I was pregnant with my daughter... I made some great friends and really just loved all the community support. This is my first time I've had to TTC however because I got pregnant with her my FIRST TIME trying... I am not so young anymore lol and I'm a lot more worried!

@claire_nicole nice! Welcome. (But please do into yourself in the newbie thread; look for Newbie Intro.)

Also, if you haven’t done so already, please have a read through The Ultimate TTGP Guide forum - https://forums.thebump.com/discussion/12685680/the-ultimate-ttgp-guide-newbies-read-this-first#latest. Among helpful things like acronyms, it also has rules of the forum which we uphold vigilantly.

For example, mention of living children (LC) without a TW = Trigger Warning plus use of Spoiler (and ESPECIALLY how easy it was to conceive them) aren’t allowed in the Dailies (daily threads such as this one) because many of us here have not yet conceived our first, and for some... it’s been years of trying. However, they are allowed in Newbie Intros and in TFAS (trying for a sibling) threads. So, the rules are there to make sure this remains a safe and welcoming space for all. Thanks!

WAYDTGKU: OPKs (1st cycle), BBT, HIO EOD (if I can get DH to cooperate)

R/R: Missed yesterday day because it was so busy with unexpected things and getting ready to head to the lake. So good to be here, even if it is cool, highs in the 60s. We finished our patio paver project, played mini golf, and had a camp fire. Weather is great for sleeping!

GTKY: I don't usually get into the popular TV shows that other people love (examples: Sopranos, Mad Men, Orange is the New Black, Game of Thrones) My husband usually watches them, so I see enough to understand the general concept. But I don't usually feel compelled to watch myself.

CS/Q: temps continue to bounce around OPKs are barely reading (only a faint line), hoping that means I won't O until I get back from my weekend away from DH.

@ashaislurking 6 semesters... wow; that is both so short and so long! The good news (speaking from my Master's experience) is that the closer to the end you get, the quicker things seem to pass. At least that was the case for me.

@keikilove oooh! I just updated the IF thread asking about your monitoring results and also with my update! Good luck today and eagerly awaiting to get your update. My summary is: I have 2 dominant follicles, one on each ovary. The left side one is 26mm which I "hear" isn't great. The resident was actually concerned that I might have O'ed already (I've been doing OPKs and I haven't). I'm triggering tonight and IUI will be on Tuesday at some point. TBD what happens with that left follicle, but I think my right is just "right" (pun intended 😆) so 🤞🏻.

Also, I thought of a better GTKY: I don't like photos on walls. This came up as a friend of mine, who just got married on the 31st, was contemplating what to do with her photos on our group chat, and another friend (who got married last year) showed what they'd done with their wall (a mosaic of photos in frames), and I'm SO not into that. To me that's clutter, and I'm a true minimalist.

@claire_nicole it _is_ a learning process for sure! Btw, I have to eat my words a bit... the rules actually don't say you need a TW for living children; in fact, they explicitly say you don't need one for children. However the rules of the dailies (at the top of the thread) say that. I'll see about getting that inconsistency changed.

@acleverusername I'm glad your IUI isn't too far off! I totally agree that as things have progressed in my master's program things feel like they're going faster. I think that'll be the case even moreso in December when I start my practicum/internship rotation and start working with clients.
