Upcoming Appointments: 28 week visit + glucose test in one week! Just like every other appointment, the closer it gets the more anxious I am. I’ve pretty much convinced myself I have gestational diabetes 🙄 I’m annoyed of myself 😂
Rave: My husband and I are going on a babymoon this weekend and I cannot wait! We rented a cute airbnb and plan to hike, golf, eat and relax!
Rant: I literally can’t stop eating. I got out of bed twice last night for a snack 🙈

Estimated due date (EDD): 11/26 but will likely be 36wks if we can make it that long
Week of pregnancy: 26+4
Baby is the size of: prairie dogs!
Upcoming Appointments: This afternoon we go for a doppler scan to check heart rates and Dottie's blood flow
Rant/Rave: Rant - My boss asked me a question regard in between Christmas & New Years and I truly was flabbergasted like I don't even know if I'll be back by then Rave - We took SD & DD to the zoo on Saturday (outside only, following 1 set path, with limited numbers allowed in at once). It was DD's first time ever and the polar bears were SUPER active swimming and diving and playing. It was such a neat experience and DD was so excited

GTKY: What is your biggest pet peeve? Biggest... might be hard to pinpoint but many things annoy TF out of me. Chewing with your mouth open! People who don't use the correct they're/there/their or your/you're (everyone has typos occasionally but the consistent misuse of them drives me batty). Leaving cupboard doors or drawers open, and/or leaving things that have a home out after use

Baby is the size of: lettuce. But feels like a squirming giant pumpkin.
Upcoming Appointments: glucose on Friday
Rant/Rave: we had a huge thunderstorm last night that shook our house and woke up my son. It was kind of scary seeing lightning so close and I was worried about fires. So I’m dragging today, so tired. My rave is that my MIL offered to get us a Snoo. So I’m pretty excited to hopefully get this baby to sleep!
Questions? I feel like I have the sleep needs of a toddler. I got seven solid hours the other night and was soo tired. Anyone else feel like they need like ten hours to be a functioning human?
GTKY: What is your biggest pet peeve? I’d say my most general one is any mouth noises. Loud chewing, talking with your mouth full, unnecessary lip smacking. It makes me feel ragey.
Upcoming Appointments: Glucose screening Thursday. Ultrasound on Sept 15th!
Rant/Rave: Rant: Our a/c panel has been leaking in our apartment since Wednesday. Maintenance came by Thursday and outside contractor came Friday. Basically need a part to fix it and should be back this week...so we have constant dripping right where you sit town on the toilet...... Rave: On Saturday, my bestie hosted a zoom baby shower for all my family back home! It was amazing to see all my old friends and family that i maybe get to see every year or so! A really good friend came by and dolled me up and put up decorations to make everything feel like a real shower! Pic in the spoilers of our setup!
Questions? Are y'all planning on getting your little ones a Christmas present(s)? I don't know what I'd get a newborn that just got everything they'll need, but I like the idea of having a present under the tree for him.
GTKY: What is your biggest pet peeve? My big pet peeve has always been slow walkers...but now I'm a slow walker, so I dont know how I feel about the situation! haha.
@reirei84 I was just thinking about the newborn Christmas present thing. I think because I’ll be wrapping so many other gifts I’m not very excited to wrap one for someone who can’t unwrap it yet haha 😆. But maybe having one for him will be fun for my older son to unwrap and give to him.
Upcoming Appointments: I think next week, but going to do my glucose test this week plus rhogam shot...yay!
Rant/Rave: I wish I could rave but the heat/humidity came back and I keep having people make comments about my bump size! So far I've gotten variations of "is it twins?", "you aren't going to make it to November" and my personal favorite: "how many days do you have left?" 🙄🤦♀️
Questions?
GTKY: What is your biggest pet peeve? I have to agree with the slow walkers but lately it's been my children opening the fridge for nothing and then getting mad when I tell them to close it.
@reirei84 I will be getting the baby a few gifts and putting together a stocking. I have a few things picked out that I'd like, but don't need so I'm using Christmas as an excuse to buy them! This is also my 3rd so I kinda need to wrap something for under the tree otherwise my 4yo will notice...he's observant when you don't want him to be! 😆
acdc1109 Glad to know I'm not the only one with Christmas on the brain already! I'm a first time mom, so its really just for my own selfish indulgence of Christmas. I might wrap a nice Christmas day outfit for him to wear...poor thing already getting clothes his first year!
@reirei84 We'll only be getting this little guy Christmas presents because his older sisters will totally notice that he doesn't have anything. We will likely wrap up essentials, like diapers, bottle nipples, pacifiers, etc.
UO: Last time I had a November baby, I kind of felt cheated out of Christmas.... if that makes sense? DD1 was 6 weeks old and I was a new mama, and I was SO exhausted and in the throws of the 4th trimester that I wasn't able to really enjoy it. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that this time around my two olders will keep me motivated to keep the spirit going because I really do love the holiday season.
Upcoming Appointments: I have another televisit on 9/18 and my next in person isn't until 9/30.
Rant/Rave: Rave: I passed my glucose test!! Rant: Starting school a week from today (supposedly) and still literally have no information about what we're doing.
Questions?
GTKY: What is your biggest pet peeve? Hahahaha - too many to pick a "biggest". I'm not a very tolerant pregnant lady.
GTKY: What is your biggest pet peeve? Right now my boys arguing over who gets what blocks to build towers with.... we have like 300 megabloks but apparently that's not enough to share between the two of them. Every day several times a day 🤦🏻♀️. @reirei84 I'm planning on a few small presents and a few things in a stocking. My first was born 12/15 and so Christmas was soon after. We have a cute picture of him trying to nurse on his sock monkey and it was really sweet even if it wasn't much. Tip: if you get a cute Christmas outfit for them get a picture right away don't wait even 10 minutes because if you wait then of course they'll have the biggest blowout they've ever had (talking poop in their hair) and then you won't get a picture of them in their outfit 😞.
Rant/Rave: My classes started again today which is good! I thrive with schedules and order, so I’ve always been one of those weird kids who loved going back to school after summer break!
Questions?
GTKY: What is your biggest pet peeve? +1 for mouth noises. Chewing with their mouth open or gum smacking makes my skin crawl.
Rant/Rave: I'm back online after a week of beach vacation with family. Varying success at social distancing in the house but it was good to see part of the fam (plus doggos!) together. We had good weather in North Carolina for beach time. Satisfied my goal of getting in the water and becoming a human submarine (a nice pool at the house plus 2 of the days the waves were gentle enough to jump without potentially taking a big tumble).
Questions? @reirei84 haven't even gotten that far to think about xmas. I assume we'll probably have a bunch from the family for the little one. Maybe something small from us.
GTKY: What is your biggest pet peeve? add me to the food noises train. I wept when I found out misophonia is a real thing.
Upcoming Appointments: Next week for glucose and regular OB
Rant/Rave: Today is my baby’s 2nd birthday 😭and I tried to do his favorite things all day like go outside and play with water, eat pancakes, watch Cars, and eat pizza for dinner. We are gonna do FaceTime with family and sing Happy Birthday in a bit too and have Cake.
Questions?
GTKY: What is your biggest pet peeve? Fake people and bad drivers.
@reirei84 Peeking in from week 1 to say that while I hadn't thought about Christmas for the baby in particular, I did want to get her a nice blanket. I have this one for DS and loooove it (he loves it too and calls it his "special blanket"), so was planning on getting one for this baby. Disana Wool blanket - we got ours from Green Mountain Diapers

Rant/Rave: Rave: Figured out how to get over to the Facebook group! I was way too excited about that. I blame social distancing/Covid lol. I think it will be a lot easier to keep up with everyone. Also, we leave for Yellowstone next Friday!!!!!! Wooooooohoooo. Little bit excited about that as well Rant: A storm came through yesterday and knocked the power out at work. We close at 5pm, power went out at 4, and we had to wait until 5 before we could leave. Only took about 5 minutes until I was miserable without the air conditioning
Questions? This is probably TMI, but for those who have taken the glucose test, did you have to do a urine sample after? I had to with DS, and even though the drink was clear, when I went to leave a urine sample it was bright orange. It terrified me. Just wondering if this happened to anyone else/is normal, or if I just have a weird reaction to it?
GTKY: What is your biggest pet peeve? There are too many. EVERYTHING you have all said lol. My main pet peeve right now is when my husband with either a) leave a clothes trail around the house or b) throw his dirty clothes in a pile RIGHT. NEXT. TO. THE. HAMPER. I can feel my blood pressure rising just thinking about it lol
As far as Christmas, I've already bought some 3-6 and 6-9 mo outfits that I plan on wrapping, just so she will have something under the tree along with DS presents. Although back when we had DS, we still did mainly clothes as presents. Since he was born in April, he spent his first Christmas chewing on the edge of the presents lol. @crizz13 I am already stressing about that "feeling cheated" out of Christmas. I think I saw someone make that comment before and I forgot just how much I was a zombie the first few months with DS. I am planning on taking a week off work in the beginning of November, and I told DH that I was going to get Christmas shopping and decorating done that week, so that way I won't feel stressed about taking care of it all after baby comes. I think regardless, it is going to be a wonky holiday season anyway, with covid going on.
@1sttimemomma98 +1 for thriving on schedules! My mom always gets me a planner as a Christmas gift for the following year lol. My husband starts classes next week, he has his final 2, one is full in person, and the other is partial in person. It is driving me crazy not knowing how they are going to have the "partial in person" classes.
kerriec93 I didnt have to do a urine sample after, but my glucose test wasn't at my ob and I had to go to a different testing facility. The drink was REALLY good though!
@reirei84 I saw you got cold lemon lime. I'm jealous lol. Ours are room temp and we have the option of orange or fruit punch. With DS I had fruit punch. Wasnt as bad as everyone had hyped it up to be, but definitely not enjoyable either 😅 I think I'm going to try the orange this time.🤞
Glad mine tasting good, because I have to go back. Dr. Just emailed that I failed with 141 and need to take the 3 hour test. Going to go in first thing Monday or else it's just going to drive me crazy all week. Food is the only thing I feel like I can control in my life right now, so I'm really hoping I pass this one. I've been bummed out all day.
@reirei84 I failed the 1 hr with 159 and did the 3 hr this morning. I saw my results and I passed 1 of the 4 blood draws...🤦♀️ Don't worry though, I had GD during my last pregnancy so I wasn't all that surprised. 141 isn't too bad so I'm sure you'll pass!
Upcoming Appointments: This upcoming Tuesday (3 hour glucose)
Rant/Rave: Anyone else feeling so tired already? The third trimester just started and I immediately feel exhausted! This is my second and I don't remember feeling this tired again until much closer to my due date. We are moving in about 10 days an I hope I have the energy!
Questions? So I failed my 1 hour glucose, and went in for the 3 hour this past Friday, but I puked up the whole drink and they made me reschedule it again. Has this happened to anyone else? I felt fine at the 1 hour, but now am afraid I'm going to feel sick again when I have to go back on Tuesday. I have not experienced much sickness at all during this pregnancy and didn't have to do this for my last pregnancy so just really anxious!
