Mention of children or pregnancies of others should have a TW (trigger warning) and be in a spoiler if possible, and only be mentioned if it is extremely pertinent to the conversation. WAYDTGKU: NTNP

R/R: Not much happening today or the weekend.I have to work today unfortunately. I'm feeling blah and kinda down today. I'm frustrated and annoyed with my body as nothing is working right :( I'm still spotting from AF and it won't go away and I'm getting annoyed. It can stop anytime now 😠 Like ugh, why is this lasting so long? I just want to move forward.

    CS/Q: Nothing

GTKY: Are you a morning person or a night owl? I'm definitely a morning person. I don't like getting up early if I don't have to but, I get up early just fine and I'm usually happy and perky once I'm up.

@mindyb2019 sorry! That is frustrating - CD 9 and still spotting.

    Month/Cycle: 2/2

    CD: 11

WAYDTGKU: OPKs & good ol’ fashion DTD

R/R: Heading out of the city today and very excited for some fresh air and space. Although it’s a heat wave and has a high of 102 🥵

CS/Q: Might put this in OPK thread- but started OPKs yesterday- Pregmate & CB Digital. Pregmate is showing negative as expected for only CD11. But now I’m questioning the CB Digital- I got low reading yesterday (circle) on the 1st testing day with FMU. Today got high reading (flashing smiley) but it’s only CD11. Last cycle same thing happened- 1 day of low (But CD14) and the next day was high (CD15)...followed by 6 days of high before a peak. I don’t know, maybe I’m thinking too much into it & should be happy for the high...but seems suspicious the same pattern and I’m questioning their validity

GTKY: Are you a morning person or a night owl? Is neither an option? 🤣 I don’t stay up too late or wake up too early. But I guess I’d say morning person if I had to chose but not before 7:30/8AM.

@sienna221 thanks. ya it is frustrating. Wow 102 is hot 🥵 It’s a heat wave here too where I am in Canada. Enjoy heading out of the city and the fresh air and space. I wouldn’t question the CB digital as that’s all i use too and I have gotten a high reading on CD 11 as well before and had a low reading the day before it. On That cycle I had a high reading on CD 11 and CD 12, then got my peak on CD 13. I feel they are pretty accurate. I’ve also had cycles where I’ve had 6-7 days of high before getting my peak. I wouldn’t over think it and just trust the OPK. They have always worked for me so. GL.

R/R: We are celebrating my birthday with family this weekend! And like @mindyb2019 I’m still spotting! 🤬

CS/Q: Looks good when I temp at the right time!

GTKY: Are you a morning person or a night owl?

100% night owl. I’d rather go to bed at 11:00 pm and sleep until 8:00 am versus go to bed at 9:00 pm and get up at 6:00 am.

@sienna221 depending on the length of your cycle, a high reading at CD11 isn’t entirely rare. That’s actually pretty normal for a 27 day cycle.

    Ok, here'goes

    Month/Cycle: Not really sure...

    CD: 2 I think? Or 12?

WAYDTGKU: Will be partaking in the horizontal tango ;)

R/R: My life is pretty dull

CS/Q: Weeeellll....So had my IUD removed on 7/28 after 4 years of which I did not have my period at all, and about a week after started spotting for over a week (it was like what the end of a period would be like, slow and more brownish). I figured I'd count it as a "period" so if we count that then I'm on day 12. HOWEVER, it seemed like it was stopping on Thursday until yesterday when all of a sudden I started what looked like a typical period, heavier except it again was more like a cranberry color (best description I could come up with) but still had (TMI warning) some lining included. So, not sure if I should call THAT day 1. I anticipated a bit of a wacky cycle from coming off BC, but this is not making it easy to track my fertility. We are really hoping to be able to conceive next month for a June baby. Yes yes, I know, these things rarely ever go as planned, but I figure it's at least worth a try. One positive is I'm not dealing with any cramps so far. Those I definitely did not miss. Anyone else have a similar experience coming off IUD?

GTKY: Are you a morning person or a night owl? Night owl. All the way. Not a morning person at all. Not that I don't enjoy mornings, I think they're beautiful and relaxing and peaceful, but it's the whole, "waking up and getting out of a warm, comfy bed" part that I don't care for.

@regalmommy1 when having an IUD removed, your body’s timing would operate as normal. I was due for a period when I had mine removed, so my withdrawal bleeding was my period, I ovulated 17 days later, and got a period 29 days after removal. I would call today CD2. I really like using OPKs since having my IUD removed as my ovulation right now is not at a normal time. I’m ovulating really late as my body readjusts to being off the IUD. It can take 3-6 months for your body to level out after an IUD removal. I strongly suggest temping and using OPKs to help you learn more about your bodies pattern.

@chindimples04 I did purchase an OPK and took one yesterday morning just to get an idea if I was anywhere close to ovulating as my period tracker was indicating. Of course just after I tested is when I started to bleed. I'm thinking that first "period" didn't count so I agree that today should be considered CD2. This is my first time trying OPK's so I'm hoping I do it right, also have never tried BBT. I'm going to let this cycle run it's course and let my body get back on track over the next few weeks before attempting any more OV testing. I did read several reports that it takes 3-6 months to be able to conceive, and also reports that it's possible to conceive almost right away. I had asked my doctor and she said I should be fine to start trying right away. So who knows. I'm hoping it won't take too long for my body to get back on track.

@regalmommy1 you are fertile right away, but the hormones are usually pretty out of wack. I’m on cycle 3 post IUD and I’m just starting to regulate more. My first two cycles were normal length (28-29 days) but I was ovulating super late (cd17 and cd19) and my LP was only 9-10 days long, which is common when coming off an IUD. I only suggest those so you can learn your bodies rhythm. It will be different for the first few cycles off. OPKs aren’t crazy difficult to use. Midday urine is best (11am - 4pm). I usually test once a day until I get a ratio of about .4, then I start testing 3 times a day. Everyone goes about it differently, though, but I have found that the above schedule works best for me and my body.
