Happy Friday! Yay!

Month/Cycle: 38/27

CD/DPO: 18/2

Timing: -3, -1, 0, +1

Typical LP length: 13 days

Testing: next Saturday

R/R: so glad it's finally Friday! Throughout yesterday it felt more like a Friday than Thursday so I'm happy that Friday is actually Friday. Hope the work day goes fast! It should, I have quite a bit to do. Haven't been feeling very motivated this week, but maybe I'll find that kick in the butt today.

CS/Q: happy to see my temp jump even more. Maybe I'll discard CD15 some day but we'll see what FF thinks.

Timing: -3, -1 (FF adjusted my O day to reflect -2 and 0, but I don’t think it’s accurate based on past history)

Testing: kind of excited that Sunday is 9DPO, I will let loose like a crazy person peeing on sticks right about then. FX.

R/R: Seriously, thank goodness it’s Friday. I need the weekend so badly. The next 3 weeks will also be crazy, but I will block that out for 2 days.

CS/Q: I got a small rise last night, curious to see what happens next.

R/R: My rave is that it's Friday and this week is over! DH and I had some bonding time this morning, which was nice. My rant is that I'm on call for the next 4 days...FX that the universe is kind to me. Also...my birthday is on Wednesday and I will officially be AMA. (In my opinion this is just a RUDE diagnosis and needs to be banished.)

CS/Q: Nope, but I'm loving looking at all of your charts and hoping for spectacular rises!

R/R: Glad I am going to the lake, but I realized I forgot my thermometer. I may walk to the pharmacy by my work for buy one on my lunch as I would hate to miss 2 days of data. #datanerd

CS/Q: Will add my chart. I discarded my temperature from last Sunday morning as I had a lot to drink the night before on our camping trip and I think it cause a huge spike. Still no CH, but with the wacky start to this cycle, I'm half not expecting CH. I will edit to add chart.

@DoubleUp8 I also hate having missing data. I've nearly forgotten my thermometer a few times going out to my parents. And then I'm SO careful to make sure it ends back up in my bag to go home. I would not want to leave that at my parent's house after visiting.

R/R: TGIF! today should be a lighter work day. yesterday did turn out to be, and i got some major cleaning done. also spammed out my resume all over the place so feeling pretty accomplished. looking forward to a relatively low key weekend.

CS/Q: pretty sure AF is coming today based on cramps (and this wild temp nosedive), but i know shes definitely coming nonetheless (based on my progesterone this doesnt seem to be my cycle). and thats okay. im just hoping that doc will work with me next cycle to fix the issue! got blood drawn again today but i assume the level will be even lower now?

@inthewoods23 nothing crazy, but our 11th anniversary is tomorrow so we are going to go to dinner somewhere (no idea where though!).

@bbrahmbhatt I also hate that term! My OB doesn’t use it, thank goodness.

@inthewoods23 thanks for explaining the May Hype thing. So, do you have another FET scheduled already? Also, how do you choose when/if to discard temps? I've never done that in FF.

@BuckeyeNut05 hooray for the weekend! I hope you can fully disconnect and get some R&R in before Monday. Have you started testing yet? Or holding out until 9DPO?

@bbrahmbhatt I will hope and pray that call is gentle to you! Agreed with your feelings re: AMA at 35.

@DoubleUp8 Data nerd here too, so I totally get the sentiment. Plus, it never hurts to have an extra thermometer right? Enjoy your weekend at the lake! It sounds so peaceful!

Timing: -4, -2, O

Typical LP length: varies as I have LPD; started progesterone today which I'll keep taking until 12DPO

Testing: Might do it on 9DPO though chances of a positive test is only 69% with early afternoon urine according to https://www.countdowntopregnancy.com/pregnancy-test/pregnancy-tests-urine-sample.php.

R/R: rave -- pelvic MRI results came back yesterday and everything is great (well, as it relates to fertility; it appears that have some degenerative bone diseases at L4-L5.)

The biggest rave is... I'm leaving at 1pm to go camping for 2 days/then staying at a cabin until Thursday so I plan to disconnect from the internet in its entirety, hike, photograph stuff, read books, do puzzles, and find some inner peace. So, see you in a week!

rant -- we did genetic carrier screening tests, and those results came back this morning. Apparently I'm a carrier for Nephrotic syndrome type 2. 🙁 The incidence of occurrence is < 1 in 1,000,000 so I suppose we'll keep on taking our chances. The prognosis isn't great though. DH isn't a carrier for anything, so here again I'm the problem.

Overall... all of our pre-IUI testing/results are now in, so at this point, we just wait to see if a) we got lucky this cycle or b) until next cycle starts and for our first IUI.

@acleverusername Have fun on your camping trip!! I love disconnecting from society for a while. I'm sorry about your genetic testing results. I'm homozygous for factor V Leiden (genetic blood clotting disorder) so all my kids are guaranteed to be at least carriers. It definitely took some time to come to terms with it.

Testing: BFN on Tuesday so I'm still just waiting for AF to show up

R/R: Rant: Mostly mad that AF isn't here yet. The longer it goes, the more I'm tempted to test again but I know it will be another negative so I'm just impatiently waiting. Rave: I don't have to go to work for the next 10 days! We're going on a road trip to Flagstaff and Sedona to celebrate our 5 year wedding anniversary!

@Amphibious22 someone in the IF thread posted about them having the Factor V Leiden and it making you at risk for late stage MC (she just went through it.) Is that something you are aware of / discussed with your doctor / taking precautions? Posting the exact wording from the IF thread in spoiler.

My Factor V Leiden test came back positive for a heterozygous mutation, which increases my risk for blood clots and has been linked to miscarriages after 10 weeks.

@asf0613 darn, I missed you in my updates! First, good work on spamming out your resume! Hopefully that'll bear fruit! But I am sorry about the possible arrival of AF. I hate it when you "feel" it in your bones, before it actually shows up. Hopefully your doc *will* work with you.

@acleverusername Would be nice to have that second one, if anybody had them. I am going to need to rough it with a standard digital thermometer. I don't think I'm really in this cycle so it should get me through. Enjoy your time camping and cabining! I'm sorry about the genetic results.

So the CVS by my work doesn't have a sing thermometer in it due to COVID. Ugh! So I bought myself a chocolate bar walked back to my office and ordered one on Instacart. It will just be a normal thermometer, but it's the best I can do. Happy Friday!

@acleverusername no we don't have anything but the 2nd opinion scheduled. I'm feeling we might actually get away with IUI at most anyway! But we'll see what the new RE says. I'll only discard a temp if temp time was way off or if it's giving me bad CH.

And the store I ordered from on Instacart is out of thermometers as well. I ordered another from Amazon to leave in my toiletry kit all the time. At least, DH can bring my other one up so I only miss one morning.

@acleverusername I didn't know it increased the chances of late stage MCs but my doctor is aware I'm homozygous for it. I know it means I am in the high risk category for any and all pregnancies

when I was pregnant before I did have to take blood thinners for the whole pregnancy, once a day injections for the first 2 trimesters and twice a day for the third. And it had to be injected right in the belly, definitely not something I'm looking forward to doing again.
