@mvt2003. I was "cleaning" off my bathroom counter when I saw your update (or hiding in the bathroom and procrastinating by visiting the Bump). I started screaming like crazy which prompted my husband to come running. He thought I had fallen or something!! Yayyyyyyyyyyy!!!!!
@mvt2003 OMG!!!! Twinsies!!!! Amazing, so happy for you!! @tyrion_ Congratulations! @b_1029 Congrats on your sweet baby girl! Feel all your feelings. It's hard because you're working hard to be the best mama you can be for her, and acknowledging that it's a huge new challenge doesn't mean you're not grateful for it!
*How long were you active on TTGP and when (minimum of 3 months)? March-October 2019, February-May 2020
*How far along are you? 18 weeks
*Which birth month board/due date? January 2021 board, 1/8
*Team Pink/Blue/Green? Pink
*How are you doing picking out a name? Feel free to share it. We are pretty settled on Beverly Hope (SO's mother and my great grandmother)
*Questions, concerns or other? Anything else exciting to share? Wedding update, I freaked out last month over the idea of gathering more than 20 people in October, even though it was going to be outside, socially distanced, etc. It just felt like too much with the pregnancy. So we're doing City Hall on Friday 10/9, then (as long as traveling is possible) meeting up with my immediate family for lunch at our family's house in RI the next day (which is our 5 year anniversary). We'll probably continue celebrating our anniversary on the 10th! And still want to do a big party asap. I should probably still find some kind of festive dress for October...
@whitealbum29 might I suggest something like this for your October nuptials in honor of the Hocus Pocus bitches everywhere? 😂

Been thinking about all you ladies a lot, but haven’t gotten on since the carpal tunnel was bad (but the cortisone shots worked!) and I was readying our house for sale. I hope to see many more of you in the grad thread soon.

I’m so grateful we have two healthy little girls on the way, but people keep calling them twins and they’re really surviving triplets. It’s sometimes easier to just let it slide, but it also feels yucky to not acknowledge that. I’m getting super nervous about delivery considering how traumatic it was with our son. Also, technically I’m scheduled for 38+4 so I worry that I will go into labor before then and not be able to have my doctor deliver. My anxiety is super high about it considering having lost 4 babies and not being awake for my son’s birth. I just want to have it go smoothly! It will be the longest I’ve been away from my son too. I’m trying to set boundaries about people seeing them after birth and I’m nervous that my husband is going to drive us to his parents to pick up or son and not be willing to leave during the time I can’t drive after surgery. I just want privacy and to not have to worry about their safety if my IL go out into public. He wants their help even though he has a lot more time off this go round. Meanwhile I did everything mostly alone during my son’s early time because he was working a ton and studying for an exam. Anyway, we are at most a month out so please keep us in your thoughts!
It's funny how it's the little things in life that mean the most...not where you live, or what you drive, or the price tag on your clothes... There's no dollar sign on a piece of mind, this I've come to know! *ZBB*
@NYTino24 - happy to see an update from you. ❤️ I say, correct people as often as you feel like it. You’re right, they’re not twins and you deserve to be able to acknowledge your loss and have that recognized. Keeping you guys in my thoughts and prayers. I don’t have experience with loss, but I was also not awake for my daughters birth and it was a scary experience so I understand the fear and anxiety with wanting birth to go smoothly.
+1 for the twin talk @wishiwaspreggo and @mvt2003! I always get so excited whenever I hear someone is expecting twins! Congratulations!!!
@NYTino24 I’m so sorry you have to go through that. I honestly cannot imagine.
Coming from someone who had a TERRIBLE experience with my in-laws with my first two (not during a global pandemic) I would just put my foot down and not feel guilty about it. In hindsight I would have been better off alone.
@NYTino24 I will be over here rooting for you and the girls to make it to your scheduled date (which was my EDD with DD, so I consider that quite lucky!) ❤️❤️❤️ There's a lot of feelings that go along with labor and new motherhood, and it's all amped up so extra now. (((Hugs))) I agree, you just have to be clear and firm with your boundaries and expectations and hopefully YH will help you keep that in place. :)
@NYTino24 I saw you liking my comment, stalked you, and saw this I'm excited for you, so sorry about your loss, and sending you vibes for a less traumatic birth this time around.
Also @BusinessWife hiiiiiiiiiiiiii seeing "DD" in a comment by you made me tear up a bit again.
@bluejeanbabi05 I was so excited for you! @BusinessWife and I live near each other in real life and delivered just a couple of rooms away from each other!!
It's funny how it's the little things in life that mean the most...not where you live, or what you drive, or the price tag on your clothes... There's no dollar sign on a piece of mind, this I've come to know! *ZBB*
Thank you so much! @bluejeanbabi05 ❤️ Such a small world, right? @NYTino24
I was never officially tagged in this thread, but obviously I'm still here stalking everyone, and rooting for you all, as usual!
