I’m thankful for mornings where my son sleeps past 7! Today is one such morning, and it’s lovely having time to myself for a few minutes before starting our wild day.
UO: I hate deciding what the family should eat for dinner. My husband does the majority of the cooking and asks me every day what were should have for dinner... Food, any food, I just don't care, I'm too tired to think about it
Thankful: my power just came back on after being out for nearly 2 days thanks to Hurricane Isaias. Luckily it wasn’t as hot today but yesterday and last night were TOASTY.
@jumpy57 - I also hate meal planning. Which super sucks, because I'm also the one who cooks. And sometimes most of the time, I just don't wanna.
I'm thankful that tomorrow's Friday. Also, that my office might *finally* be organized again soon. It's amazing how that works once they finally leave me alone and let me do my D* job, and ONLY my job for the first time in nearly a year and a half. I'd also forgotten how good it feels to actually check items off of your to-do list that have been there for a long time. Normally I've been doing one step forward, three or five steps back.
Thankful that I am officially on vacation until 8/17!!! I haven't taken any time off work since January, and I didn't realize how badly I needed it until about this week.
UO: I really dont like coffee. Most people think I'm crazy, but I just haven't ever had a taste for it.
Thankful: My job has been super flexible with my and the hours I work. I've been struggle bussing with morning sickness all day every day. My job though has been letting me set my own hours and come in late if I need! Basically as long as I am putting in 40 and getting my work done.
@scottijo2012 I HATE COFFEE! everything thinks i'm crazy. They were like when you have a kid you'll like it. Well he's 18 months and I still hate it. I like caffeine from my soda HAHA but honestly coffee is nasty. and I hate coffee breath!
I don't love coffee but DH was determined for me to drink it because of the health benefits. So now I drink "coffee" with hot chocolate and lots and lots of creamer. Pretty sure the health benefits are negated by all the sugar. My favorite part of coffee is the ritual of sipping something hot and waking up slowly.
@scottijo2012 Coffee hater here! I walked into Target the other day...did they HAVE to put a Starbucks (yuck! I used to work there and uh...the "secret" to their "good coffee" just...no.) I was gagging going thru the door. Good thing the bathrooms are there lol
I'm super thankful we are having a baby boy & so far all our testing has come out good! Also very thankful I have a better team of docs than what I started with!

UO: I don't really get the hype about Bai waters.

My doctor said to cut coffee since I've been having really low blood pressure and been struggling to keep hydrated 😭
