Reading all of these posts about food was a terrible idea!! Now I'm craving everything!! (Got some good ideas though so thanks for that it's the worst moving to a tiny town far away from any normal restaurants! Red robin, panda express, Wendys, MOD, Burgerville (im from the PNW originally)...i agree with whoever said there should be a word for the sadness we feel when we want food we can't have! Oh and also, I'm in love with pickles...only they have to be the salt ones not sweet pickles and the closest salt pickles I can buy are 6 hrs away in Sweden, right across the boarder🙄 theres a lot of great things that i love about living in norway but having cravings isnt one of them! Ive been googling recipes from specific restaurants to see if I can make some of the foods..like beef and broccoli with chow mein....yumm!
@mama-buckets do you think you could stomach broth? I haven't liked chicken either but then I made homemade chicken noodle soup using chicken bones to make the broth and that turned out really good! I ate the entire pot one day so I had to make more the next day😅 but maybe you could buy some broth and not have to actually eat any chicken...for me it was the texture that put me off not the taste.
@babywiik ohhh!!!! I hadn’t even THOUGHT of broth!!! I could totally do that! I’m having the texture issue too, sometimes just the smell, but mostly the texture. I am DEFINITELY going to get some broth and throw some noodles and veggies in there. That sounds like a perfect lunch. Thank you for that suggestion!!
A couple of us just ordered Panera for lunch. I am so excited for Broccoli Cheddar Soup! Plus I used my work account and had 2 $10 off coupons that will expire before we start catering anything here again and a $2.00 off coupon so we each saved like $7.00 each! 1:00 cannot not come fast enough.
Trying to be better about cooking actual meals instead or ordering out/getting takeout all the time but FB is inducing ridiculous cravings! I’ll be scrolling through and I’m like..... “ohhh Spaghetti!” “Oh look!, cold stone, that would be amazing.” “Oh man, look at that pepperoni pizza! I can almost taste it!” “Mmmm, sour strip candies....” I made beef stew for dinner. It was delicious and I’m very full, but FB is still making my mouth water. Lmao.
I am eating soft serve ice cream way too often and I really need to get my eating back under control LOL. I am planning on doing a big shop this weekend for veggies, fruits, things to make chia seed pudding and acai bowls, etc.
Update: Had my monthly OB appt this morning and I gained 5lbs in 5 weeks, which puts me at a total of 7lbs so far gained. I honestly don't care, and stopped for ice cream on my way to work. I can't stress about this right now lol

I *may* or *may not* have just waitred 2 lunches (one from La Madelines - because I need their pasta salad and a cookie, and one from the little Chinese restaurant around the corner - because I also need chicken & broccoli).
I picked up lunch on the way to my mom’s. On the way I saw Taco Bell and decided my lunch wasn’t big enough. I went through the drive through ordered two orders of chips and cheese. Ate all of it. I think the last time I went to Taco Bell was the last time I was pregnant.
@krystrist2014 omg Cold Stone! I would always get the Cake Batter Ice Cream. Since we moved the closest one is over 3 hours away. I’m so sad about. However, it gave me the worst HB pregnant with DD.
Frozen no-bake cookies😍 and i havent even been feeling sick after eating them like I have been with most sweets! I may or may not be visiting my freezer a bit more often than normal😁

I'm back to chicken and veggies is all I want. Fruit is pretty good too. The sweet stuff I get a craving for randomly and sparsely and then I eat like 1/2 of a cupcake and I'm over it real fast.
@potofgolden YES!! All of the olives for me!!! Especially the little green ones with the pimentos. 🤤🤤🤤 my husband thinks I’m an absolute lunatic. I *might* have drank the juice from a little bowl after polishing off a portion lol.
I also just crushed half of a dominos ham/green pepper/onion pizza. LOL. Still all the way off chicken, and I lean away from most other proteins, but I’ll punish a cheeseburger any day of the week and twice on Sunday’s.
Almost every breakfast is honey Greek yogurt, blueberries, and Cheerios Oat Crunch cereal — CRACK.
So I have a pretty inconvenient craving, lobster!! I was never a huge fan before, and now I’ve had it 3x while pregnant and DEVOURED it. But I do not have the budget to live that lavishly on a consistent basis 😂 Today was my 3rd time eating it though, celebrating finding out about baby girl! It was gone in a matter of minutes 🙃
My husband and I are both from WV and he requested WV pepperoni rolls for his birthday today. I have had one in like 10 years and it was the best thing I have had in sooooo long. I wish I had made twice the amount I did.

@lurvleybunchococonuts ugh sorry to hear that. I have been taking Tagamet (spelling) per my OB suggestion when I need relief. I get such bad reflux it suuuuucks. Also, I freeze a lot of stuff I bake so I can keep it longer and pull out as needed, so tempted to eat chocolate chip cookies last night at 1AM when I was up with the toddler who is going through sleep regression but then I felt nausea.
@mtengl That's a good idea to freeze stuff! Our freezer is a disaster atm. It is in need of being emptied, cleaned, and reorganized. Good luck with the sleep regression. Those are tough!
