    Upcoming appointments: 6/10 - I’ll have the blood draw for the NIPT

    How are you feeling:  Not bad, still tired

    Rants/Raves:  Sometimes my three year old throws tantrums at bath time.  Not every time but frequently enough where it’s an issue.  For some reason we’re really bad at finding the sweet spot between him being ready for a bath and overtired.

    Questions:

    GTKY: Who would you want with you if you were stranded on a desert island? A fully charged and loaded kindle!

    Estimated Due Date/Weeks + Days: Dec 31, but I will have an induction between the 10 and 17

    Upcoming appointments: nurse intake today - we will be scheduling all my NIPT blood work, hopefully they are willing to add in the gender!

    How are you feeling: MUCH better actually. The nausea meds are working. Last night was a tough night, but feeling okay this morning..

    Rants/Raves:  I hate pregnancy. This baby is very very wanted - the baby. Not the pregnancy bit. Ugh. I feel bad for wishing away this pregnancy but i so suck at pregnant. 

    Questions: what are you binging on streaming right now? I can't get into anything. 

    GTKY: Who would you want with you if you were stranded on a desert island? The crew from the show "survivor" with their convenient crates of food and survival tools.

    How are you feeling: Still tired. Still puking. 

    Rants/Raves: I’m just tired LOL I need sleep. But thankfully my 10 month old daughter has been sleeping through the night for the past 4 days!

    Upcoming appointments: June 16th first appointment

    How are you feeling: Good actually! Thank goodness! I get tired SO easily.. like, I'm gonna slip into a coma tired.. but nausea is much better

    Rants/Raves: My 1 and 2 year old have been taking 3 hour naps every afternoon.. it's been HEAVEN! I've been able to get the naps I need

    Questions:

    GTKY: Who would you want with you if you were stranded on a desert island: My husband for sure!! He's fun, he'd make it a good time! 

    @the_road_to_oz I have a hard time finding good binge shows too so here is a list of GREAT ones, I promise:

    FTM/STM/STM+: FTM, but second pregnancy. Another 6 weeks until I'm in "uncharted territory"

    Team Green/Pink/Blue: We'll find out, but no preference

    Interesting Baby Fact/Baby is the size of: kumquat or guitar pick. I know it's a competing app, but I like Ovia's little handprint and footprint tracker. So exciting once you can actually see them

    Upcoming appointments: Friday, just a check-in with the doctor and blood draw for the NIPT

    How are you feeling: Physically fine. Abdomen feels tight, and I still get tired more easily but nothing like the fatigue I felt before. Nausea has also really calmed down

    Rants/Raves: 
    Rave -- boss said he basically doesn't care if I take off a couple of days while he's gone. In his words, "others need to learn to step up and take charge". 
    Rants -- I wanted to take time off to go help out my parents, but my dad has shingles. Still waiting to hear from the doctor if it's ok for me to go (I've had chicken pox, but online articles were mixed as to whether or not it's safe). Beyond that, just everything going on. I'm angry, scared, and frustrated. I want to help out, but feel like I can't even join the calmer parts of the protests due to the crowds. We could try to help monetarily by donating to organizations, but my husband is still unemployed and we need to really watch our spending right now.

    Questions: None that anyone here can answer, I think, but the same that I'm waiting to hear back from the doctor about: 
    1) Exposure to shingles
    2) Safety of ingesting hibiscus. Basically I want to make iced tea, but my tea has hibiscus in it (along with other flavorings), and don't know if it's safe. Last time I didn't think about it and drank a bunch of hibiscus agua fresca without knowing it could cause a problem, so I guess it's probably fine but want to check.

    GTKY: Who would you want with you if you were stranded on a desert island? An introvert with survivalist skills. Someone who can help me build some shelter and get food, but not be overly chatty.

    @akoros I also like Ovia's hand and foot tracking - it makes the whole process seem more "real" than saying your baby is as big as a lemon or whatever.

    @the_road_to_oz Top Chef!  There are tons of seasons on Hulu. Also - Brooklyn 99, Jane the Virgin, Supernatural, Parks & Rec...

    Rants/Raves: rants- this pregnancy has been harder than my last but I’m hopeful that 2nd tri will be just as amazing as last time!
