If you've been pregnant during Christmas, did you include the child in utero as well when signing the Christmas card, especially after you know the sex and have a name?
I was pregnant with both of my children during the holidays. I did not include the yet-to-be-born baby on the card. I just kind of thought it was sort of bad juju to do that.

Even though we're keeping the name a secret, we won't be adding new baby to the card just yet. I save all of our old Christmas cards and I think it will be nice to have the last one of our little family of 3 before pictures of DD#2 start appearing in next year's card.
At the same time, the thought did cross my mind - it's kind of like a little way of letting everyone know you're expecting (those that may not have known otherwise). So if I got a card like that, I would not think it was in poor taste or anything.
We did but I was also 7-8 months pregnant. He was already a part of our family name picked and all so we just put something like "coming in Jan-Lincoln David"
We didn't with Gracie, but we did this year. We signed our names and baby R #2 due 5/5/12. It was our way of telling those who don't know yet (basically the older crowd that is not on FB).
I was about 24w around xmas time, we didn't have names se t though , so we said "happy holidays from Jay, Joyce, baby A and baby B lastname." The pics were of Jay and me, I was obviously pregnant.
I didn't sign the cards for the expected baby, but I did print text below the picture of Elena: "Merry Christmas from Elena, 2-years-old and anxiously awaiting the arrival of her baby sister in December 2007" or something like that.
ETA: totally forgot I was going to say I really wanted to write something since there were some people on our Christmas card list that didn't know I was expecting and it seemed it would be rather shocking to get birth announcement cards from us in just a month's time.
Re: christmas card - include baby on the way?
Yep, us too.

We (aka I) did this last year - I signed our names and put (+ baby!) at the end. I was somewhere around the 20 wk mark.
we never have but its not because i think its weird, its just something i never wanted to do. i think it can be cute!
we sent our cards last year a few weeks before annie was born and it was very clear from the pics that i was expecting. lol
eta: i lied!! i did mention it when we were expecting eve!
the inside of our 'timeline' card that year:
Mention it, but don't use the name or sign it like they're already here.
this. ours said Baby [lastname]... even though we had a name picked
Another ditto.
