May Symptoms

Re: May Symptoms

  • I have a fringe of new hair sprouting along my hairline, like the hair that regrows after post partum hair loss (STMs+ you know what I'm talking about). Weird.

  • @hedgepig not going to lie I am kind of jealous.  My hair started falling out again at about 6 weeks ughhhh! Obviously I didn't have PP hair loss until you know PP last time.

I think as of yesterday I joined the constipation train...
  • @hedgepig that PP hair growth was the worst 🤣 I looked like such a buffoon and it took months to grow out lol.

    @mimser

I'm so sorry you're joining us
  • @dumbledoredies So, I cut my hair really short (a pixie sidecut)  last summer and have been growing it back out since then and it JUST stopped looking like a hot pile of garbage on my head. I don't know if I can handle looking stupid all over again...

  • @dumbledoredies I have been getting some pretty intense tailbone pain. It comes and goes but it sucks.
  • And just like that, the hip pain started last night. Ugh. Our bed is too small for a pregnancy pillow, so I just put a regular pillow between my knees last time, but I didn't even need to until 3rd trimester.

  • @hedgepig I was just noticing today I think I’m getting the extra hair growth. I had a pixie hair cut about two years ago...it’s finally at my shoulders. I so need a haircut! Atleast it looks fuller for now 🤣

I have been getting tailbone type pain when I move certain ways. Anyone. Else. ?
  • @hedgepig girl that is better than the lottery during pregnancy! 🥳🤣
  • My RLP has been a pain for a couple weeks..but the past few days have been awful!! Like doubling over kind of awful. I know that it can be worse with subsequent pregnancies, but youchies! 😖
  • Anyone else irritable and generally angry? Poor DH. I wasn’t particularly nice yesterday. I felt justified????? Probably a tinge too much.
  • Anyone else more nauseous in the second trimester than they were in the first?
  • Yupp, I became she hulk week 13. It's easier to controll now that I can see it coming and olan around it.
  • Ughhh... 13+5 and still waiting for the nausea/vomiting to start to subside. It never did with DD so I'm not exactly hopeful 😑 plus holy hip pain at night.
Can I take a nap now?

  • @name1109 100% irritable and angry over here a lot of the time. But I'm also trying to get our house ready to sell and DH is not tidy (never has been) so that might be why he's irritating me.
  • @name1109 definitely irritable and easily pissed off.  Instead of normally being the worlds most patient wife I've been very snappy at MH.  Yesterday, I yelled at my SD and downstairs neighbor to shut the eff up, then proceeded to kick my neighbor out of the house and made SD go into her bedroom cause the two of them would not be quiet and decided to start wrestling/play fighting immediately after I FINALLY got my dad & stepmom on the phone to give them the news about the twins being girls.  I then proceeded to yell at MH for talking loudly because he had just gotten to spend over 2 hours talking to various family members telling them the news while I dealt with SD & DD and I was FINALLY talking to some of mine and none of my family would shut up enough for me to be able to hear anything they said.  I apologized for losing my temper afterwards but goodness was it frustrating.

I also got big mad at a HS friend of mine who kept trying to insist that I should be able to tell if the twins are identical or fraternal by now.

@laurenmicheley guess who ordered new bras? I was so obsessed with watching my bump grow that I missed my boobs doubling in size at the same time
  • @laurenmicheley definitely not a problem for me. Went from an A cup to a A+cup🤣🤣.

@mimser I have some that are on the way from Amazon. Hopefully I don't hate them, but knowing me, I will! My boobs are already pretty huge, but now it's totally out of hand!

@BabyL52716 That would be nice! I was a DDD before and I shudder to think of where we're at right now. 🤦🏼‍♀️

@laurenmicheley it adds a level of difficulty to not try them on. I received one yesterday. It's really comfortable and looks nice, so I'm happy, but I attached the band in the middle, but I think I should wear it full width as my rib cage really expanded... I got one size cup up and one size band up, but I'm not it would make it much further than this current size I am ... Anyway, I'll enjoy the fit for now!
  • The last 2 days, i've just been having light stomach pains here and there. Not cramps, but just uncomfortable, like I ate too much. Week 14, so i'm guessing it's just everything growing in there? Also, wasn't emotional the first trimester, but I'm really getting there. I got my 1st onesie in the Target registry welcome bag and I cried so much.

mimser I noticed the girls before i noticed a bump! Bought some new bras from Target and they're amazing.
  • @kitkatz1990 That was me postpartum last time! I would be stinky again before I had even dried off from a shower! Thanks hormones 😬

  • Holy cow did hormones and emotions hit hard this week. I basically cried over everything on Thursday and Friday. Literally everything was the end of the world. I could do without this particular symptom. MH is dealing with it well and poor DD tries to be so sweet whenever I get emotional or cry.
  • @krystrist2014 girl, I'm right there with you. Everything is making me so emotional. I don't remember being so hormonal when I was pregnant with DS!
  • These headaches though! I have had daily headaches lately. I’m 15+4. I’m staying hydrated but I admit I’m not doing a particularly good job with eating healthy. Going to be making that change starting today and see if it helps. Is anyone else having headaches daily? I definitely did not have more than the occasional headache when pregnant with DD and I am trying to figure out how normal this. I also am in remission from a condition called idiopathic intracranial hypertension, which is basically swelling in the brain for no reason so I will be calling my neurologist too to ensure that it’s not that condition re-emerging. I was supposed to be seeing him more regularly if I got pregnant but was putting it off because of covid. *sigh*
  • @krystrist2014 yes girl!! I had them for over a week straight. Nothing helped it felt like. I called my dr and they said I could take 2 extra strength Tylenol every 6-8hrs. I’ve found for me it’s definitely tension based. If I take Tylenol and lay in a dark cool room with my eyes covered, and my arms wrapped around a bulky pillow (I have a body pillow that’s is amazing for this), it helps knock it out after a couple of hours. And I try to be easy for the next day or two to not re-aggravate it. I had one on Thursday and it lasted a couple days, but I’m finally on day two of no problems!

Good luck! Hopefully it’s nothing serious and just typical hormone headaches. 🤞🏼🤞🏼🤞🏼
