@mindyb2019 such good news! Any insight as to why your D-Dimer numbers were so high?

  • @sejica not sure why. I was wondering that myself. Makes no sense. I didn't get to ask my dr that so I will ask him that same question next week when we talk.
  • @mindyb2019 that’s such good news!

I know the fetal Doppler says 12+ weeks but I keep trying anyways. I’m sure my plus size status doesn’t help but I don’t know if I’m also not doing it right and every video says something different 🤦🏽‍♀️

  • @jbal918 sometimes it can take a trained professional 45min to find the little baby in there! One of my tips is to lay a little on one side and put the Doppler down low near your pelvic bone But in between the middle of your stomach and your hip bone on the opposite side (so if your laying on your left hip put the probe on the right side) I find people can find the placenta easier like this and once you find the placenta (whooshing sound) baby usually isn’t too far away!
  • @mindyb2019 so glad your ultrasound turned out good! I had to have one with my last pregnancy and was so worried I had a clot but thankfully like you I didnt! Vericose veins suck though and I definitely need to dig out my compression socks.

@jbal918 sorry to hear there may be cuts! It's such an uncertain time. I'll keep my fingers crossed for you!

Sorry I havent been on much. I've really been in a fog. I don't want to say its depression but its definitely heading that way. I think it's really just stress that's getting to me. I've been up for an hour already and cant get motivated to do anything.

Anywho, I really want to CD but I'm not sure everyone in my household will be on board. SO is weirded out by it but does like the idea of saving money. Lol my parents and brother (we all live together) are totally grossed out by it.

  • @nmadjeski make sure not to get too deep in that funk. My last pregnancy I struggled so hard, I’d just come home and cry every day for really no reason other than being afraid of not being able to fully protect my baby after she was born. Do you see a counselor?
  • @nmadjeski Everything is also so thrown off by the isolation, too, which certainly doesn’t help. I’ve been having a really hard time finding any motivation, too, between being cooped up and being so so tired. There’s a somewhat hopeless vibe out there right now and it’s hard to not give in to that. Usually I’d get out and exercise and walk and explore to fight the funk, but the fatigue makes that so hard.

Anyway, the good news is that there are lots of telehealth options popping up for mental health and wellness so finding someone to talk to from home is easier than ever! Definitely second the suggestion of maybe just talking to someone a couple times and see if it helps.

Thanks @tryingktogku! I’ll try that next time! I told DH I’m taking a break because if I don’t find it soon, I’ll worry. I thought I may have found it this morning because I did it as soon as I woke up before I went to the bathroom but I don’t know if it was the baby or me honestly.

@nmadjeski Thanks! It’s sucks but I have to try to stay positive! I won’t be announcing on social media until September now because of it but family will know!

  • @jbal918 yours will usually be under 100 beats a min! The placenta is usually easier to find so just try for that for now it’s a distinct whooshing sound that’s faster (than what your arteries are pumping at) and remember trained professionals can have trouble even at like 16-24 weeks gestation!
  • @BmcD2016 @laurenspdx thank you ladies! I'm not seeing a counselor and I've put off seeing one for so long but I know I need to. I was actually having issues with my insurance the last two weeks and that stress was definitely contributing to my mood. Now that it's fixed I will  be looking for someone online for sure! We had beautiful weather today and we spent the afternoon in the yard with the kids so that definitely helped my mood.
  • @nmadjeski That’s great to hear! Outside time always helps too, especially with nice weather kicking in!

@tryingktogku I did find the placenta each time so that was reassuring!
