  • @kalesix3 they will definitely measure the length at your anatomy scan. If it's below a certain amount or if you have had high risk procedures (like a high cone or high leep), they will typically follow the length with repeat measurements.

  • @kalesix3, it definitely can’t hurt to ask. I think the general rule is they like your cervix to be 2.5cm or longer.

    Ohh thanks for the advice, ladies! I've had two colposcopies (one in 2003 and one in 2011) and had a LEEP done in 2011, and my AS is next week so I'll definitely keep that in mind to bring up during my visit.

  • @profmcgonagall @carrotsandpeas3 thanks ladies, I wasn't able to ask about it at my appointment because my midwife today was late and rushed me out of the office, but I have my anatomy scan booked so I'll be sure to ask about the specific measurements and I'll go in for an extra appointment if it gets more worrisome meanwhile. I so appreciate all the information you gave me!
